Nigerian I want to bring to your remembrance that the Delta Steel company in Ovwian Aladja in Delta State is still in ruins and the Warri sea port and railway lines running from the stellar plant to connect other states is abandon and yet the government is planning to bring back Ajakuta steel plant? My people time out time to visit the Delta Steel plant and you will know that Ajakuta plant is learning. I did my IT there in 1998 and I wept bitterly when I saw massive infrastructure been wasted. For your information the Delta Steel plant is close to sea for easy export and was build to manufacture cars, engine blocks etc....and many Nigerians was sent abroad for training but many of them came back wasted away and even died without seeing the aim of the steel plant achieve. This marginalization of the south south should stop. Planning to waste our resources to find oil in lake chad is foolishness of the highest order but all of you should remember that what goes around comes around. Long live the Golden Hen of the Nigeria's economy..The Niger-Delta |
A staff in The Royal Embassy of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Nigeria has confirmed to Vaxity that, the government of Nigeria and Saudi authorities have concluded plans to deploy Saudi Blackwater mercenaries to the Niger Delta region to tackle militants that have been attacking oil facilities. The deal is part of the agreement in the Saudi-led Islamic coalition against terrorism which Muhammadu Buhari signed up for on behalf of Nigeria. It is said to be worth$258m. Blackwater is being led by Anwar Eshki, a retired Major General in the Saudi Armed Forces. And these mercenaries are the once fighting for Saudi Arabian government in Yemen. This is their plans exposed....If the government invest this morning in the Niger Delta will it not go a long way? |
There are over 20oil wells in my family land in Ozoro in Isoko north local government area of Delta State yet there are no good roads, schools and electricity for the villagers to enjoy. Come on...... Nigerians open up your sleeping brains and use your heart and head to reason......

A confederation (also known as a confederacy or league) is a union of sovereign states, united for purposes of common action often in relation to other states. Usually created by treaty, confederations of states tend to be established for dealing with critical issues, such as defence, foreign relations, internal trade or currency, with the general government being required to provide support for all its members. Confederalism represents a main form of inter-governmentalism, this being defined as ‘any form of interaction between states which takes place on the basis of sovereign independence. The nature of the relationship among the member states constituting a confederation varies considerably. Likewise, the relationship between the member states and the general government, and the distribution of powers among them is highly variable. Some looser confederations are similar to international organisations. Other confederations with stricter rules may resemble federal systems. Since the member states of a confederation retain their sovereignty, they have an implicit right of secession. The political philosopher Emmerich Vattel observed: ‘Several sovereign and independent states may unite themselves together by a perpetual confederacy without each in particular ceasing to be a perfect state. … The deliberations in common will offer no violence to the sovereignty of each member’. Under a confederal arrangement, in contrast with a federal one, the central authority is relatively weak.Decisions made by the general government in a unicameral legislature, a council of the member states, require subsequent implementation by the member states to take effect. They are therefore not laws acting directly upon the individual, but instead have more the character of inter-state agreements. Also, decision-making in the general government usually proceeds by consensus (unanimity) and not by majority, which makes for slow and inefficient government. These problematic features, limiting the effectiveness of the union, mean that political pressure tends to build over time for the transition to a federal system of government, as happened in the American, Swiss, German and European cases of regional integration. This is what Nigeria really need..........And not Federalism........... |
A lesson for us all to learn mostly in our choice of words......Many years ago President Buhari said he will make the government of President Goodluck ungovernable for him and President IBB told him that those who live in glass houses should not throw stone. Today we see the stone Buhari thrown many years ago coming back to hit by many terrors hitting our country today. So let us mind our choice of words. |
