See police....even the so called police chiefs will not take a serious retrospective look on why these police officers act diz way Bt wud rada single this one out and give the usual political rhetoric statements.how did I find myself in this country?

Madness is wen u go to a place with same natural resources as urs and u see massive infrastructural and human capacity development and u sit down and perform the usual political rhetorics and return to ur country to continue to “fight corruption”.....cursed is anyone who cursed Nigeria with bad and visionless leaders!

Even if u use sentiment to get a job,a time will com wen u must prove your abilities...I concur wit d original writer, whoever has made Nigeria a laughing stock despite our huge potentials in various fields,it shall never be well with them!

Nobody is even saying he shouldn't be sentimental and include one or two of his boys, but when the entire team is trash, then we reserve the right to complain.

Aigbogun's U20 team is mediocre to the core.
How we pay lip service to sensitive issues as the choice of a youth team coach is befuddling yet we want to wake up and win big tournaments like d AFCON and the world cup. These things comes down to small details like a good youth team coach that will increase our talent pool from which our chances to win at these tourney increase massively.same goes to the the mediocre playing surface we have all over the country....Mosques abroad have lush green grasses outside just for spectacle yet we bring professional footballers to come play in mediocre pitches cos of politics....absolutely crazy!

Feel so sad seeing this...This Paul Aigboun is such a square peg in a round hole and one of the worst youth coach ever. There are multitude of great youth players in Nigeria and abroad within the age bracket that he could discover but mediocrity and sentiments was used in picking his team for the U-20 AFCON.That team despite qualifying for the U-20 World Cup is the worst Nigerian team I have seen play football and obviously meant he has no biz managing a youth team. If Amunike was sentimental,We won’t have Osimhen,Chukwueze,Nwakali,Michael,Orji and the rest of the talent pool elegible in this categories.Let the lazy ass coach go n discover new talents for us as he will NEVER win the U/20 World Cup with this his shitty team even he drafts Lionel Messi into his team.Chukwueze should only drop to the U-23 team if need be.The lad should be left outta this U-20 team.Paul Aigboun failed in his scouting and grooming of his team and he is looking for a quick remedy, let him go face his music at the World Cup and the world would see that he was never ahead of Finidi for this role he was handed!

Mikel is still relevant on the short term.He does not have the intensity of a box-box midfielder hence his low statistics on assists and goals but his general football intelligence is an asset to any team. The intensity of d game in Europe and at the World Cup will always be higher dan the AFCON hence we can still get 60 to 70 quality minutes from him Bt if we ain’t looking at replacing him in the long term, dats suicidal for this super eagles....The best mikel can go is a bit-part role in the next World Cup and dats even pushing him to d limit....Our scouts and coaching crew must earn dia pay in discovering and developing a long term replacement for mikel.

Exactly, it is quite unfortunate that our pitches are resemblance of 1970's European pitches.
It’s just mediocrity and unnecessary politics....football is first purely an entertainment b4 anything else and d minimum standard to enjoy a football game is a good pitch not dose eyesore u have all over here...pls take a clip of one of the games of Mexico ‘70 World Cup...The pitch is still arguably beta dan 90% of d pitches we use for pro league games in Nigeria!

Our cries and criticism didn't go unnoticed. However, some peeps are blind to the fact that a bad pitch will definitely affect play.
It’s very important to have a good pitch....it allows d players to express demselves properly....dats y theEuropeans pay detailed attention to d quality of dia pitches!....We just like mediocrity hence we have poor quality pitches all over here....even U-8 teams in Europe don’t play on d type of pitches out so called professional leagues display!

I won't blame the @AIT_Online commentator who has been calling Azubuike, Bonaventure all along....I over heard him saying it would be difficult to run the commentaries without the team list.

Someone should get him the team list or correct him.

#AFCONU23Q
He is just been mentally lazy....the official list with the corresponding jersey numbers are on the Twitter and Instagram handle of the NFF....He cant apportion names to people from his head....annoying!

He calls Valentine Ozowornfor something else
He calls Etboy Akpan something else
He calls Orji Okonkwo “Duru”

Main thing is we get to watch d match Bt the commentary is but pathetic!

I visited the stadium two months ago (in late January) and it was an eyesore. And it wasn't even a big stadium either, so how/why the NFF chose this stadium to host an international match is still strange to me. That stadium cannot accommodate up to 20,000 people!

O pari
The stadium does not have to be huge...Just nurture a playable pitch....dis not a hard ting to do in 21st century....so pathetic!

Dider deschamps is one of the most bias coach I have seen at the moment ,he is a great coach because being a World Cup winner No b garri

How can a coach drop an inform lacazette and ben yedder for a bench warmer giroud?

Kurt zouma over Laporte who is one of the best Epl defender this season ?

Umtiti over lenglet ,umtiti has been injured so much this season and he just he returned ,we can't doubt his quality but he is yet to bench an inform lenglet who was bought as a back up for him

After we go dey insult rohr for inviting bench warmers
Deschamps have explained before now that he doesn’t need two left footed central defenders in his team to maintain a good balance hence he has not called Laporte since Umtiti is already part of the team. He gave this explanation when Laporte called him out publicly on why he is not being selected. I guess same reason applies to Lenglet and the coach seems to be reasonably tilted to Umtiti ahead of the other two, more like being a human here!

D German national team dt were outsed out d group stage played, deir 1st 11 played mostly all d minutes in dis past season

Nigeria case was just ill-luck and to some extent d coach tactics,if not,I c no reason y we shldnt qualify to d 2nd round at least cool
Luck plays a role in a major tourney wen u match a team tactically, technically and quality wise wit other factors such as hunger, team unity and physical fitness....d germans are not d first defending champions to bow out in d first round and shuld not be a refernce point here....d team av attained d highest acheivement and wud naturally not av dis same hunger as our young team wu shud be motivated to make a name for demselves....secondly,teams study defending champions a lot.... dia system, dia style of play and dia key players et al and figure out how to beat dem hence dey are mostly vulnerable....we lost against a shitty and aging argentine team due to a host of of factors luck being d lowest in d pecking order!
