Former wife of the founder of Christ Embassy Church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome,has set internet on fire over a post on her blog, https://www.pastoranita.org/beta/index.php/home/soul-winning in which she sheds light on the phenomenon of soul winning in the churches, warning that the so-called soul-winners, the pastors, could also be predators on the gullible Anita Oyakhilome When people talk about winning souls these days, I feel absolutely concerned for the so-called souls.
It looks to me like a lion on a breakfast mission, in search for his hunt; he hides behind the grass for an unwise lamb that would wander away from the herd in search of fresh grass. This will be an easy catch and good feast for the lion’s plate. When I hear these people talk about winning souls, I feel sorry for the souls who have no idea of what they are getting into. It sometimes sounds to me like blood-thirty people desperate to count the number of innocent, ignorant people who will give their blood to be sucked.
These souls are classified, as those who are needy, can undoubtedly gullible in their search for solutions and wanting to identify or belong to a community. These souls are caught when they are most vulnerable maybe they have lost a loved one, in a bad relationship with their parents or family, in need of healing or desperate for a change. At this point they will give anything and do anything without a second thought. When caught by the wrong hands, they will start running in a wheel. Initially, the souls will be treated with some measure of care, so they do not detach.
This will be short lived to prepare them to be trained as unconscious servants. Once the attachment is built, they would start attending endless meetings till they begin to be unavailable for their loved ones and disassociate from their families over time. These souls will eventually give their energy away and with time they begin to feel tired, unhappy, sick, financially drained and depleted. Unknown to them, this new community and friends maybe superficial. The souls might observe that sweet and bitter method of sucking their blood has gradually robbed them of their self worth.
They might realize they have given their energy to somebody else and they are now hanging in the spider’s web. They are tied up with daily and weekly responsibilities but if you look closely, their main leader is seating in a place of convenience by handling brief monthly meetings (not weekly) or occasional gatherings. When I hear about souls, I have sympathy for those who give their blood to be sucked. They are simply prey to be used as objects in some people’s game. Incidentally, some of these souls have become wiser in seeking the opportunity to reap the reaper in his own game, like the buffalo who challenges the tiger.

An aggressive soul winner is like a fisherman who uses a net. This method of fishing is solely for material or commercial purposes. On the other hand a fish can also be caught by using a fishing rod with baits or lures impaled on the hooks to entice any fish that venture near to bite off the attractive bait. Unfortunately, if caught by a commercial fisherman the fish is not going anywhere after all that effort, it must be eaten. However, if caught by a hobbyist, he will admire the fish and put it back where it belongs, in its natural habitat. Thank God for regulatory organizations helping to stop brutal killings of animals whether on land or sea. Soul winning alone will not take you to heaven; you win a soul by living the God life and your personal interest in bringing somebody to the knowledge of Christ.
You have to be in a good frame of mind first, not under fear or compulsion that if you do not win souls you will go to hell. There should be no ulterior motives like getting the soul’s money eventually, you want a position or seeking to be rewarded with treats or awards. There are people who reach out to others daily not for any earthly reward or to direct the souls to their own churches, for benefits or for any selfish reason.
These people recommend and make available other authors, ministers and local assemblies for the interest of the soul alone. Every man should learn to take care of himself first. He should learn to use his initiative and study for himself otherwise he might become somebody’s big catch or ‘meat’. At that point he would have no one to blame.
I have written this for those who have asked me questions on soul winning and their fears. “And many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Mat 24:11-14 “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”

Nigerian Police Mistakenly Shot at Man windscreen as they welcome colleague(Photos)

According to Olufunke Phillips, she shared her ordeal with Nigerian police earlier today .
"Driving to work this morning, I drove past Stanbic IBTC bank in Aguda, next thing I heard were sporadic gunshots and things hitting my windscreen and car.
Instinctively, I ducked. I didn't know what was going on. I tentatively looked up and saw the mobile policemen in front of the bank laughing and hi-fiving themselves and one was cocking his rifle.
I was stunned. Obviously it must not have been something major, else why the hell would they be laughing. Something caught my eye on the passenger seat beside me, I looked and saw a spent cartridge/shell/whatever it's called on the seat. I recoiled in horror, turned and drove straight into the bank. I came down and saw 3 other shells on the partition between the windscreen and the hood cover.
These policemen were basically shooting at 9am for no reason and their spent shells were what I heard hitting the windscreen and car.
I went to the bank security officer and asked him why the policemen were shooting. He said and I quote..."one of them come resume with them so them dey welcome am"

What I could deduce from the security guy was that the policemen were welcoming one of their colleague with gunshots.
Wonderful! When did the police start welcoming themselves with gunshots? Shooting into the air? No robbery in progress? Nothing was happening. They were just flossing. Welcoming themselves. *smh*
So I went to the policemen and demanded to know why they were shooting at 9am. Was there a robbery in progress at Stanbic? No. What was happening?
These men looked me in the eye and denied shooting. I was mad. I showed them the shells and the one that even deigned to speak with me told me I must have been mistaken. And he was reeking of alcohol.
The remaining three had disappeared when they heard me asking questions.
So I did the next thing I could think of. I went to Aguda Police Station to file a complaint. I got there and explained what happened and showed them the shells even the one on the seat beside me. Guess what the officer said...
"Madam, why you sef no wind up?"
That's when I lost it. And the crase I always carefully hide just had to come out. Oh, it was not a pretty sight. I demanded to see the DPO. I explained what happened to him and asked a simple question.
"In the absence of a robbery or interaction with a suspect, is shooting in the air to greet or welcome a colleague normal police procedure? "
The DPO apologised and told an officer to call the policemen at the bank back to the station. The officer came back and said he met no policemen there. They had all dispersed.
I drove back to the bank and asked the security guy where the policemen were. This guy changed story o. "No be here dem shoot. I no hear any sound." Even when people around said they heard the gunshots and had to hide for safety, this stupid buffoon of a security guy was still lying.

I went into the bank and demanded to see the BM. When we went out to meet the security man, the fool was still lying, I told him I recorded his previous conversation with me where he told me they were shooting to greet their colleague and showed him a picture of one of the shells, that was when the idiot backpedalled and admitted that indeed the policemen were shooting.
The BM called an assistant and told him to call the policemen, one now appeared and started begging.
Long story short. Everybody started begging. I wasn't here for the begging. I just needed to know why the police would think it necessary to just shoot in the air for no reason.

Anyway. Bank Manager begged. Police begged. Security guy begged. Bank Manager said they would write a report to the station. Smh. Police said they would deal with the guy. *smh*
I ranted, shouted, screamed, popped my veins, used all the expletives in my dictionary and demanded to know why my tax money spent to buy bullets was being used to greet their friend because he resumed work.
As all this was happening, the irony was not lost on me. Nigeria is shitty but I tore those mobile police guys a new one. I protested and screamed and shouted and I didn't have to fear for my life. I was too angry to care.

Blacks in America don't get to question the police. Your skin colour makes you a suspect. You can be killed because of a busted tail light. You can't scream and question the police at the police station. Your ass would be thrown into holding. Heck, they can kill you even when your kids are in the backseat. During the whole drama, I reached into my bag several times to pull out my phone, I didn't have to fear that a trigger happy-power drunk police officer would think I'm reaching for a gun and shoot me in the chest.

Black people in America don't have that luxury and that's why ‪#‎BlackLivesMatter‬. That's why ‪#‎BlackLives‬ should Matter. How can you be so scared of living in your own country because of the colour of your skin? Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
This morning, I was grateful I live in Nigeria.

An A-level student described as a “person people wanted to be around” has been stabbed to death in Notting Hill.

Fola Orebiyi was fleeing from from a gang on bikes when he was killed.

Witnesses said the teenager was attacked close to the Portobello Arts Club, near Westbourne Grove, and collapsed on Portobello Road.

Police were called to the scene at 8.45pm on Sunday. Despite care from the emergency services, Mr Orebiyi was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Orebiyi had finished his GCSEs at Holland Park School and was reportedly studying for his A-levels at Chelsea Academy. Eye-witnesses said the 17-year-old was stabbed in the neck.

Mark Gettleson saw the aftermath of the attack: “I got home from the gym and heard a bit of commotion, then I heard someone scream ‘Did anybody see anything?’


“I rushed to the window and police were already there talking to the poor boy who was in a bloody heap on the floor.

“There were two large pools of blood where he had staggered down the road before collapsing. People saw him fall down and try to get to his feet again.

“Police and paramedics tried to resuscitate him for a long time, they did everything they could.

“This will shake people around here to the core. It’s absolutely tragic another young man has died. I’m in shock and we need to get the individuals who did this off our streets.

“We need to understand, in a meaningful way, why our children are turning to such horrific violent acts.”

A cousin of Mr Orebiyi did not want to be named but said he was a “caring and lovely” person and that the family was struggling to come to terms with his death.

“There has been an outpouring of love for him because he was genuinely like that, he was a person people wanted to know and be around,” she said.

Murder detectives are investigating but no arrests have yet been made, police said.

Two men attempting to bomb Abia Government House arrested by security operatives [PHOTOS]

Two suspected political thugs believed to be working for Uche Ogah had besieged the entrance of Abia State government house this evening threatening to bomb the edifice but were quickly apprehended by the security men who mounted a security watch at the Government House entrance following a tip off, Daily Correspondents was told.

Father Ben Ihegboro, 44, a customer services adviser, admitted that when he saw the baby he exclaimed 'What the flip?' before joking: 'Is she mine?'
Doctors at Queen Mary hospital in Sidcup insist that Nmachi - whose name means 'beauty of God' in the couple's native Igbo language - is not an albino.
Her stunned parents, who already have two black children, just 'sat and stared' at their white baby when she arrived, they told the Sun last night.
'We both just sat there after the birth staring at her,' said Mr Ihegboro.
Mum Angela said: 'She is beautiful, a miracle baby.'
Despite jokingly asking whether he was the father, Mr Igegboro said: 'Of course she is mine.
'My wife is true to me. Even if she hadn't been, the baby wouldn't have looked like that!'
Pale skin genes can skip generations but neither Ben nor Angela Ihegboro - who only moved to Britain five years ago - know of any white heritage in either of their families.
'She doesn't look like an albino child anyway,' Mr Ihegboro said.
'Not like the ones I have seen back in Nigeria or in books. She just looks like a healthy white baby.
'My mum is a black Nigerian although she has a bit fairer skin than mine. But we don't know of any white ancestry.

'We wondered if it was a genetic twist. But even then, what is with the long curly blonde hair.'
The couple also have an older daughter, Dumebi, two, and a son, Chisom, four.
Mr Ihegboro said the couple's son was even more confused than them.
He added: 'Our boy keeps coming to look at his sister and sits down looking puzzled.
'We are a black family. Suddenly he has a white sister.
'But all that matters is that she is healthy and that we love her.'
Skin colour is believed to be determined by up to seven different genes working together.
If a woman is of mixed race, her eggs will usually contain a mixture of genes coding for both black and white skin. Similarly, a man of mixed race will have a variety of different genes in his sperm.
When these eggs and sperm come together, they will create a baby of mixed race.
But, very occasionally, the egg or sperm might contain genes coding for one skin colour. If both the egg and sperm contain all white genes, the baby will be white. And if both contain just the versions necessary for black skin, the baby will be black.

Kemi Olunloyo fires back at family member who accused her of SLEEPING with her biological father

Kemi Oluloyo is finally on the other side of the table as Tokunbo Aboderin has accused her of having a mental sickness and that she had incetous relationsip with her dad who is fathered her children.
According to the video, Tokunbo Aboderin got frustrated out of the several insults Kemi passes on Nigerian celebrities. Aboderin also revealed that, the ex-governor’s daughter has mental problem as well as disclosing how her father and ex-governor of Oyo state got her pregnant.
The lady further revealed how Kemi’s children were taken away from her in the United States (US), because she sexually harasses them and has not seen the children ever since as she laid more emphasis on how the Olunloyo’s are mentally imbalanced.

Kemi who found the story funny slammed Toyin saying she is just seeking for attention and she just someone her father slept and dumped in the ’70s
