Politics › Re: President Buhari Departs Nigeria For Makkah Saudi Arabia For OIC Summit by Ebbunwa(m): 2:45pm On May 30, 2019 |
There are so many problems with Nigeria wink2015: IT IS THE NORTHERN NIGERIA POLITICAL LEADERSHIP THAT IS DRAGGING US TO THAT ISLAMIC INSTITUTION.
I could recall during the Military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida days when Nigeria was dragged into the OIC even with opposition from people of Southern Nigeria.
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE ECONOMIC BENEFIT OF JOINING OIC.
Nigeria is a secular state both our northern political leaders are the ones dragging us into it.
NIGERIA SHOULD BE RESTRUCTURED INTO A TRUE FEDERAL STATES WITH MORE POWERS AND AUTONOMY GIVEN TO THE REGIONS.
THAT WAS THE INDEPENDENCE CONSTITUTION WE NEGOTIATED WITH THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT DURING THE DAYS OF CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO, AHMADU BELLO, NNAMDI AZIKIWE.
I thinks each northern states and their governors should relate with OIC on their own on a one to one bases.
The federal government has no business with OIC as Nigeria is a secular state.
Even the pilgrimage that the federal government is sponsoring muslims to Makkah in Saudi Arabia it was the northern political leadership that started the ABUSE before the chrisitians who do not want to be left out of the NATIONAL CAKE joined in to seek for federal government sponsorship to Jerusalem, Israel.
I conclude here again that NIGERIA IS A SECULAR STATE and I do not see any valid reasons for us to join the so called OIC.
How has OIC come to solve the ALMAJIRI PROBLEMS IN NORTHERN NIGERIA?
How has OIC come to solve the massive poverty and sickness and diseases plauging most northerners?
AFTER ALL THIS JOURNEY FOR OIC MEETING IN SAUDI ARABIA IN WHICH PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI IS WASTING TAX PAYERS MONEY TO FLY TO SAUDI ARABIA.
He will still come an hijack the crude oil money of the Niger delta region.
Saudi Arabia that is so rich is not even helping the northerners to fund their development or solve poverty problems in northern Nigeria. |

It's really sad that the military has been compromised and degraded to the lowest level. Normally, seeing a soldier in his full attire and arms in the streets should be worrisome. But no, it's a common thing here in Nigeria, no day passes without seeing them severally, some even collect roger on the roads, really pathetic. |

Politics › Re: "Jungle Justice": Buhari's Ballot Box Snatching Warning Got Nigerians Talking by Ebbunwa(m): 4:42am On Feb 19, 2019 |
sogodihno: My people have u seen PDP now, party of looters, criminals and thieves, PMB said anyone caught snatching ballot paper do so at his own risk, the question is why are PDP crying foul? Are they planning to snatch ballot box?
They politicise the suspension of the corrupt CJN and shout the loudest one will think Onoghen is a PDP party card carrying member, my people PDP thrive with corruption, they are lover of corruption, if PDP enter, Nigeria will go the way of Venezuela, this country will cast in 2, years, if PDP could not save and yet borrow money to pay salary in the year of surplus, what about now, that the oil price is at the lowest.
May thunder fire any idiots that tell me to vote for stealing is not corruption party.
We are moving to the next level.
Thunder fire PDP and lover of Corruption.
PS: They will be shouting China and China, am sure Atiku can not even be contesting in China now if he were a chinese, because he would have been killed tete. No space for looter in China, if we can't be harsh to corruption like China, then we have no business comparing ourselves with China in economy.

Politics › Re: #SnatchAtYourOwnRisk Trends Number 1, On Twitter by Ebbunwa(m): 4:28am On Feb 19, 2019 |
If death was the legal punishment for ballot box snatchers or other people that tries to disrupt the electoral processes, I don't think some people will have issues with PMB's statement. I think the problem with the statement is that there's already a punishment for such criminals. So what is the need of the law in place to handle such offenses? That's the issue. To be candid, I think ballot box snatchers deserve death, but the constitution should be sacrosanct and respected. If death is the best punishment for ballot box snatchers, why not get the lawmakers and other relevant stakeholders to get it in the constitution, this is democracy and it's worrisome that people are comfortable that things are done extrajudicially. I am not a ballot box snatcher neither am I intending to be, but the truth is that you never know when you will be a victim of extrajudicial punishment, it can be in any other aspect, not just the ballot box snatching.
