Do you want to write code or use a plugin ? if the former let me know what you want to do, do you write PHP, also why does your name sound familiar, have I mentioned you before. take care
I just want to get the job done. Although, I'd prefer to use a plugin. I don't write PHP.

I've been following you here on this forum from day one. Love reading your posts, especially your diary. I'm not sure you've mentioned me before.

Thanks for the reply.

If you know PHP, check the wordpress codex on how to create a custom page.

On the custom page, use a http client like guzzle to make rest request to the API and then loop through the results and display them.

As for pagination, you can limit the number of items fetched per request and increment on a per page basis.

Thanks for taking out your time to reply. I'll explore this option

Hi everyone, I'm a beginner in Word press and I'm trying to create a website that displays a dynamic list of products fetched from a REST API endpoint. Each product has fields such as name, price, description, image url to display and an external link. When users click on a particular product, they are redirected to the external link.

I want to also implement pagination.

I've explored tutorials which uses the WooCommerce plugin but they focus on manually adding products. I don't even know if i'd need to use the WooCommerce plugin at all. I want to seek guidance on the specific implementation steps, recommended plugins, themese or any helpful resources for creating this type of website.

The implementation is similar to most udemy coupon sites like this one: https://coursefolder.net/live-free-udemy-coupon.php

Thank you all in advance.

The bot could be adapted for maybe content moderation, to help filter and respond to contents here based on some specific criteria.

Sir,

Once more, I will advise you that you need a heavy element of automation in your moderation process.

Set up a naughty dictionary, if anyone posts words from there three times, automatically suspend that account until an actual mod has time to go through the posts and "unsuspends" or ban the username.

It's too easy to register, tighten up the process by only allowing it to happen at certain times and/or making people include personal information that can be handed over to the authorities in the event of repeated libellous statements being made.

No matter how many mods you employ, the horse has bolted and it would never be enough, once more you must set up and automated moderation process to go hand in hand with human moderators.

I look at the membership figures you claim and chuckle, they are incorrect because people have multiple monikers and some are so brazen to add numbers to the names even.

You do a great job keeping this site going, but you must now know that some are hell bent on destroying it and you should try to at least to make it as difficult for them as possible.

I'll agree with this @Seun. Adding some automation would help.

Preventing multiple creation of accounts would go a long way too.

what about flutter?

Flutter isn't inspired by Kotlin or Java. It basically offers a modern way to build cross platform apps more efficiently.

Some random fun-fact: Kotlin drew inspiration from Java in its creation, and now Java finds inspiration from Kotlin. kiss

I've really loved animation from day 1. There are AI tools nowadays that really simplifies animation. So you don't really need sophisticated softwares and all that. Most are not totally free tho.

Hey there, Nairalanders.

Gather 'round. You've got to hear about RemoteShare, my WiFi file sharing app that's been a true labor of love.

So here's the deal – I embarked on this crazy adventure of building RemoteShare, and guess what? It took a whopping 18 months to get it all polished and ready. Now, why the marathon, you ask?
The usual suspects of course – Nigeria's epileptic power supply issues played a starring role, and let me tell you, it's like a rollercoaster you never signed up for. Not to mention, creating an app of this magnitude is a daunting task that, even with constant power supply would have taken few months still.

Think about this – creating an app with the lights flickering on and off more often than a disco ball. That's what it felt like, trying to code with the constant threat of power cuts looming over my head. And don't even get me started on the unpredictable nature of it all.

But the pièce de résistance? Our area's transformer. It had this uncanny knack for turning life upside down by failing for weeks on end. Picture this – you're deep into a coding spree, and suddenly, the lights go out, your work goes poof, and you're left with nothing but the hum of frustration. Knowing your job has just been totally halted for the next couple weeks.

In the midst of this chaos, my trusty laptop, a relic from the past, stood by me – a 11-year-old Lenovo that refused to give up the ghost. Its battery, though, had a mind of its own, often deciding to call it quits when I least expected it.

Fast forward, and here we are, RemoteShare in all its glory. A whopping 40,000 lines of code that are a testament to grit, determination, and a touch of madness. And guess what? This was my very first project after learning the ABCs of Android, built with native java, and my first venture into programming as a whole.

Now, the real gem of RemoteShare – it lets you remotely view the content on during connection – you can hide any file or section from being viewed by others.

But wait, there's more! With RemoteShare, you can initiate a connection by sending a notification to the other device, making file sharing a breeze. Plus, we've added some fantastic features like a music player, a video player, and a file manager to enhance your sharing experience.

And let me tell you, we've made sure that the app is incredibly simple to use, with a user-friendly interface that even newcomers to tech will find a piece of cake.

So there you have it, folks. The power supply saga that fueled the creation of RemoteShare. Give it a spin, share your thoughts, and let's keep the conversation buzzing. Here's to power struggles turned into something truly amazing! 🚀

Congratulations on this milestone 👏
No offense o, I see Chatgpt handwork for your write-up grin

Good day, Nairalanders. My name is Ayomide. I'm a graduate with Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I completed my national service in May, this year. I have applied to numerous job openings, but I have not gotten any positive feedbacks. This bothers me a lot because time waits for no one.

At this point, I want to cease this opportunity to solicit for help from the good people of this forum to kickstart my career in Engineering. I need a job or an internship to gain necessary experience and exposure. I'm always ready to learn, and highly dedicated. I can boldly say I'm of good characters, and won't disappoint if given opportunities.

I'm ready to provide more details about myself on request. Thank you for your consideration.

Attached below is a link to a csv file containing a list(about 170 results) of mechanical engineering jobs postings from indeed.com already sorted for you according to the date posted. It includes the job title, company name, location and the link to the job posting on indeed. Hope it helps and good luck to you.
