I'm a believer of the gospel and I believe in Jesus as my LORD and SAVIOUR but as human we do err and then we pray for forgiveness and "hope" our sins are forgiven us but wait o, how can one be certain that one's sin is forgiven him for sure?


I ask this judging by the case of Moses he never got to see the promise land despite all his travails, does that mean he wasn't forgiven ?


secondly, often times we (I'm sure some can also relate ) after asking and seeking for forgiveness from God for a particularly sin we commit some thoughts still creep in to make us feel guilt about our past deeds should we still feel that way ? since that sin is suppose to be forgiven. does the guilt means the sin is still unforgiven?

often times we still get stuck up in the valley of indecision, the dilemma of staying safe in Christ and the one of going back to the old "known" life of sin. where everything seem normal and less ackward or perhaps a more societal friendly lifestyle that would attract less dramma from friends and folks. we simply wish to live a life that wouldn't seems to be too "religious" nor too "wayward". hmmm, this has been the case for many new breeds in the faith. we still want our friends to accept us hence we tend to "bend rules" so as to avoid backlash from our folks who are not of same conviction. but little do we know that shifting ground one one subject would give rise to many other excuses to shift another and so it goes till we are off the line.


now having known this could persist into total backsliding, the question is what can be done to avoid this ?

first and foremost, we must be sure of whom we really are, meaning we must know our real self, supposing it is really even deep within you that you still secretly wish to fornicate despite been saved then it wouldn't be that difficult to lure you back into the act since there is an interest in the 1st place. our motive matters alot. it is a catalyst for good or evil and we must need to beat it till it is transformed to be what we want it to be so as to allow us be what God want us to be.

Secondly, we also must stand our ground in the open and in the secret no matter the pressure or urge from people, friends, colleaques, boss, school/course mates or even family to go against our beliefs and faith. no excuse should be enouf to permit a single act of iniquity.


also note that sins of any kind corrupt your immotal soul and render you unfit to enter Gods kingdom. many may want to be eazy on themselves saying God is a loving Father and wouldn't totaly disown them because of a singular act of sin they term weakness yes! thats true, infact you could still enjoy favours and open heavens from Gods bounty, but the bitter truth is that the foundation of the Lord remain unchanged even if u His child changed, because the Lord knows those that are His,but only want all those claiming to be His DEPART!! totally not partially but TOTALLY from every act of sin 'cos sin corrupts and any corrupt thing can't enter the HOLY LAND.


now, inasmuch as we keenly desire to live a life free of sin and stains in this present world of evil and corruption, we mustnote that it is impossible to live up to expections on our effort alone without Gods divine grace and guidance. we must totally put our faith and trust in God to help us thru. also we must develope an attitude of prayer and discipline as prayer without work is dead .

may God help us to do His perfect will till we leave this evil world to meet Him in Glory. amen!

I know a family friend who did the same thing u are planning to do..but the husband stay back in London while the kids and the wife live n school in Nigeria ..

don't mind those ones telling u not to bring them home its either because they've not tested child upbringing or they are mostly youths who just feel everything is OK in a white mans land including morals

money is not everything ...why raise mannerless kids

experience with these children when they come visiting is worrying ..imagine a 7yr old girl telling her mum not to beat her for wrong doing that's she's of age n she has her right ..then the older brother of 9 say he will called police on their mum for scolding them...just imagine ..n this are Yoruba children whom are suppose to nurture respect

well seem similar to one above but the message under it tho ...I believe you still need prayers to claim those promises


3....to defeat Satan
well as much as I believe of a certainty that Jesus already overcame Satan on the Cross ... I still must stress that prayer is needed to enact this victory in our individual aspects of life ...OK lemme ask...what started the Idea of prayer and fasting in the new testament?..

I wan to believe that it was when the disciples of Jesus couldn't cast out a demon not until Jesus arrived and did such in a snap of a finger ..then the disciples marvel and asked why they couldn't ..then Jesus told them..." this kind Goeth not out but by prayer and fasting" ..so I still think prayer and fasting is relevant in this aspect


4...to be holy
of a truth righteousness is God given gift of salvation ..but prayer and fasting is highly needed for substaining this gift in order not to let it slide ..remember prayer means talking to God and fasting means serious business that I had to skip human pleasure of food or other addiction ...


5..to be righteous
well here I agree with u righteousness is a free gift from God to man thru Christ ..RIGHT-eousness is God being Right but given us that right ..because Jesus bought the Right thru His death for us ...so Righteousness is not our works but Gods

It depends on the size of church and the way it was built. The answer to ur question cannot just be given onlne, it has its approach. There are many speakers out there and the production of a speaker is not by how big it is. I hate it when churches spend unnecerally on sound equipments.
