With heavy hearts, the entire department of English and Literary studies Kogi State University (both past and present) morn the death of their colleague Emmanuel Uhuaani David who died on the 23rd of August 2019.

He's not just any other "gone too soon", he's a legend in his own little way. The few things I know about him are; he's jovial, humble and generous.

According to reports, he has been battling with the illness for over a year, (liver disease). He missed his 400level semester (he only came for exams). He showed signs of recovery during second semester and he graduated with his mates. Not until his death he was awaiting mobilization for NYSC. He never got a chance to serve his father's land before he succumbed to death after a fierce battle.

His recent poem talked about death, his tone seemed pessimistic (only God knows the battle he faced).

This is my story and I'm literally laughing out loud right now.
I can't type everything so I'll give you a summary of my experience and arrange it from number 1 to 13.

1. My Dad is a legal practitioner, now a Judge, and my Mum is a medical practitioner. I'm their first son as well. I do not intend to glorify myself but I'm intelligent. I cheated other pupils during end of term awards as they barely got any of those awards. I considered my most formidable opponents in such award ceremonies as unintelligent. That's the level of my mental ability.

2. When I was five, Dad picked me to his office after school as was the daily tradition, a Law Firm I now preside over, and left me with his secretary. A woman in her mid twenties ,I presume, since she married while I was still in Nursery School. I attended an expensive private school.

3. The secretary took me to the restroom when I requested to ease myself. She took out the most important organ which was needed for the easing and after I urinated she robbed it till it became erect and told me "that's how to charge my battery". She told me it would charge naturally when I see a girl I love. I became fond of her.

4. I returned home and my Mum always had to stay in the hospital some days because of her night schedule. Those days Dad would join her there because she was a resident doctor. We had a maid , she always prepared us (me and my brothers) for school. She always bathed us and after the incidence with my father's secretary my "battery would charge" when she baths me. She was 10 years older than I am. 15-16 years should have been her age that period and she was very brilliant that my parents would later sponsor her university education.

5. She was in her penultimate class in secondary school after she earned the prize of overall best in her class, Mum and Dad praised her. She took me to my Dad's room because she wanted to make bed. That day my parents were at home. She pulled me to herself kissed me and took off her bra and panties. From your earlier post, you pointed out that Egypt had a wonderful civilization, b4 it was supposingly distroyed by Islam. Here's my point Rome and Greek also had wonderful civilizations, were they also distroyed by Christianity? (Cos I don't know where they are among world power today).

Greece is currently in recession, their economy is currently bad, Egypt is doing better than Greece economically (use Google before you argue with me). Italy is also facing economic crisis, my question for you is, how have Christianity helped those nations??

From Okene you can trek into Edo state and even Ondo, my question is can you categorize such a region as northern Nigeria?? Obviously you don't know where Okene is in the Nigerian map.

Living in Nigeria is very depressing, smiles and joy seems to be temporary, if you read one good news, u must have read six bad news.

Here are the cause of my sadness (not depression yet).
1. I just came out of a relationship, I loved the girl, but overnight she just stop loving me, I begged like no man business, but she have already made up her mind. She claimed I hv character issues (tbh I do).

2. Post NYSC phobia, I have like 5 month left of collecting allawee, after which I am on my own, no job waiting for me, no hope for masters, no talent, no hand work nothing, just a 2.2 degree.

I know many of you will laugh off my above mentioned points, the truth is after typing point one and two, I realized that I dont have problem, am not even depressed, I am just sad. Overall, I have a good life.
