BusinessRe: Bb by EBSolutions: 4:56pm On Dec 31, 2023
5 million for 5 years is 25 million. However, if the Naira keeps being devalued the way it is, the money will definitely be worth less in 5 years - say 20 million to be on the safe side.

One of the most important things when starting a physical business is the location.

For example, is it a highbrow area, with rich people, or average/low income earners?

Also, are there people that already offer the type of service you want to offer or not?
Example, if you try to start a school where there are already many schools, it is obviously a bad business decision.

Your location should, to a large extent, determine what kind of business you want to do except you plan to deliver your goods/services to a wide region (maybe statewide) or you are willing to relocate to any location.
For example, you'd agree with me that the cost of starting a business in places like Lagos, Abuja, Portharcourt is definitely not the same as starting the same business in some other states.

So, really, you can still go for any of the businesses you mentioned earlier (Hotel, School, Cooking gas).

Someone mentioned a tech-related school which teaches people relevant skills they need to ‘japa’. I think this is a very good idea. It still is a part of your original plan, it's just like having a specific niche to focus on.

Also, you might not be able to build and furnish a standard hotel with that amount, however, you could opt for a bar instead. You could also look into short-letting if you are in an area frequently visited by people from other states.

A cooking gas depot is definitely good. People will always need to cook. You might look for some things to add by the side though.

Other businesses you could consider, a dry-cleaning business, carwash, Snacks/fast food, AGRICULTURE, e-commerce/mini importation, exporting food products, even normal retailing (you could open a large store and get people to sell for you).

These are all businesses with good ROI(return-on-investment). You might just need to take time to DILIGENTLY study the business models so you won't make a loss.

All in all, it is a bit difficult to give good advice because things like your prior knowledge/skills, location, time/effort you are willing to put in, etc. will determine a lot about which business will be a good fit for you.
By the way, Happy New Year's Eve, Nairalanders.

I'll be doing a massive discount from 1st to 6th Jan on all flyers/videos. So if you want to advertise your products or greet your customers using flyers/videos, click the link in my profile.

I don't have any skill sir.

I am thinking of going into forest
Going into forest to do what? Hunt?

If you do not have prior experience and/or someone to guide you, I'll advise you don't waste your time.

As someone stated earlier, do a feasiblity study.

Since your side is still developing, these ideas might help:

Is your place far from banks? Then a POS business might be good for you.

Is there any ESSENTIAL commodity that is not readily available in your community? Then look for ways to source for them cheaply and sell. This is something that can bring you a huge turnover. But remember, that thing has to be essential.

Etc. Etc.

The major point is look for a problem you can solve. There are ideas everywhere. Go on a walk, talk to your neighbours - what do they NEED but can't get easily.

Samodo:
I'm not a doctor, but I can offer you some general suggestions for promoting the healing of a wound in the anal area. However, it's important to consult with a medical professional for proper guidance and treatment tailored to your specific situation. An anal wound could be a serious issue, and seeking medical attention is strongly recommended.

1. **Maintain Good Hygiene**: Keep the area clean and dry. Gently wash the area with warm water and mild soap after each bowel movement. Pat the area dry with a soft, clean towel.

2. **Use Sitz Baths**: Soaking in warm water can help reduce pain and promote healing. Fill a bathtub or a sitz bath (a small plastic basin that fits over your toilet) with warm water and sit in it for about 15-20 minutes.

3. **Avoid Straining**: Straining during bowel movements can worsen the wound and delay healing. You can prevent straining by staying hydrated, eating a high-fiber diet, and considering stool softeners if recommended by a healthcare professional.

4. **Topical Treatments**: Your doctor might recommend using over-the-counter or prescription creams, ointments, or suppositories containing ingredients like hydrocortisone or lidocaine to help soothe and promote healing. Make sure to follow your doctor's instructions for application.

5. **Pain Management**: Over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen (if not contraindicated) can help manage pain and discomfort.

6. **Avoid Irritants**: Avoid using scented or harsh toilet paper, wipes, or products that could irritate the area. Choose unscented, hypoallergenic options instead.

7. **Stay Hydrated and Eat Well**: Drinking plenty of water and eating a balanced diet rich in fiber can help maintain regular and softer bowel movements, reducing strain on the area.

8. **Rest and Avoid Activities that Aggravate the Wound**: Give your body time to heal by avoiding strenuous activities that could worsen the wound.

9. **Follow Medical Advice**: If you have been prescribed any specific treatments or medications by a healthcare professional, make sure to follow their instructions carefully.

10. **Monitor for Infection**: Keep an eye out for signs of infection, such as increased pain, redness, swelling, discharge, or fever. If you suspect an infection, seek medical attention promptly.

Remember, these are general suggestions and should not replace professional medical advice. If you have a wound in the anal area, it's crucial to consult a doctor to determine the appropriate course of action for your specific situation.

It'll take years before before BRTs can operate comfortably in other states.

Thank you
Although, we are not in Lagos (Ife, Osun State), we do 3d sublimation printing and borderless printing. It mostly depends on the design, type of clothe/fabric and style that you want. But you'll most likely require borderless print.

With this kind of mindset, you aren't ready for politics, don't end up in years to come like the cabals we have already.

So the youths of then won't swear and rain curses on you

You are going into politics for you personal gains. It's not the best approach. I'm very honest with you
For what other reasons do people go into politics or do anything else for that matter?

If you don't benefit from something - even if it is just the happiness of helping others - you won't do it.

Also for now, I have no plans contesting for anything however if the opportunity comes up, I definitely will not reject it.

Lastly, I am not going into politics merely for self-gratification. While I am not a saint, I still consider myself a good person. I also know how I have suffered under this administration. I can't subject others to the same.

I play local politics and I'm okay with it for now. Bros I have to be sincere with you, if you're a business man like me, any ruling party in your state is the best party to join. Even if you don't follow them share money, there are many other opportunities for you like government jobs, contracts and appointments as long as you hold your ward tight. But if you want to play abuja politics, you better join apc. E get why.
This!

For now, na the opportunities and contracts I dey eye.

I'm in Osun presently. APC is the ruling party but things may change (except they buy votes again sha.)

So should I join APC who will win if they spend or PDP?

NIGERIAN PRESIDENT BUHARI’S Q&A WITH BLOOMBERG NEWS: TRANSCRIPT

Below is the full, unedited text of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari’s written responses to questions posed by Bloomberg News:

Q1. You campaigned for office with a pledge to fight corruption, secure the country and fix the economy. How would you rate your performance in fulfilling those pledges during your eight years in office? Why has insecurity been so hard to tackle? Are you making headway?

A: We leave Nigeria in a far better place than we found it. Corruption is less hidden for Nigerians feel empowered to report it without fear, while money is returned; terrorists no longer hold any territory in Nigeria, and their leaders are deceased; and vast infrastructure development sets the country on course for sustainable and equitable growth.
Corruption is less hidden?

That's true though.

It is now done openly.
PoliticsWhich Political Party Should I Join? by EBSolutions(op): 12:12pm On Jun 21, 2022
I did not care about politics in the past.

I have never voted, I refused to participate in political discussions until recently.

Now, I'd like to really get involved - attend Ward Meetings, go for rallies and so on.

The problem is I do not know which party to join.

Sincerely, I feel the youths' proclamation of Peter Obi and all these slangs are just a reenactment of what happened in 2015.

They want a Messiah which I do not think any of our current contenders are.

Anyway, I'd like to seek your help on which party:
✓ cares for the masses mostly,
✓ offers the most benefits to their members in terms of jobs, connections, etc.
✓ gives the best platform for a possible future political career?

Thank You.

PS: Someone should please tell Seun to create a poll function. It is really necessary.

Nairaland GeneralLoans Apps That Don’t Defame Their Customers In Nigeria by EBSolutions(op):
Sometimes, you need some extra cash to take care of some emergencies. After all other avenues have been exhausted, you might have to turn to loan apps for help. Unfortunately, some loan sharks have invaded the online financial lending platforms. They offer loans with huge interests and tenures of 7 – 14 days. When their clients are unable to meet up to their ridiculous demands, they resort to devious means to retrieve their money like ‘sending defamation messages to the contacts of their clients’ among other methods.

However, there are loan apps that are registered and accredited by Credit Bureau Nigeria (CBN). These apps are professional and some even work with you to figure out a repayment plan.

Disclaimer: Some wicked people see this as an avenue to borrow without paying back. Please note that other people need these loans for their own emergencies, not to mention the employees of the various companies who depend on your repayment for their salaries.

Please do not borrow if you have no intention of paying back!

CultureRe: Ooni Imposes Night To Dawn Curfew In Ife Over Criminal Activities by EBSolutions:
Everyone saying the OONI doesn't have the constitutional rights to impose curfew is right. However, you all don't know what is going on in Ife presently.

Hoodlums have been terrorizing neighbourhoods enmasse these past few days. I personally know households they have attacked and people they have killed.

The worst thing is they are doing this openly. They go about every night shouting, dragging their cutlasses across the ground and burning tires causing hysteria before finally deciding on homes to attack. They even leave letters announcing their intent to attack others.

Since those with the constitutional rights have refused to step in, it would be wrong if a leader like the OONI does not step in.
