5 million for 5 years is 25 million. However, if the Naira keeps being devalued the way it is, the money will definitely be worth less in 5 years - say 20 million to be on the safe side.By the way, Happy New Year's Eve, Nairalanders. I'll be doing a massive discount from 1st to 6th Jan on all flyers/videos. So if you want to advertise your products or greet your customers using flyers/videos, click the link in my profile. |
Roseodd:Going into forest to do what? Hunt? If you do not have prior experience and/or someone to guide you, I'll advise you don't waste your time. As someone stated earlier, do a feasiblity study. Since your side is still developing, these ideas might help: Is your place far from banks? Then a POS business might be good for you. Is there any ESSENTIAL commodity that is not readily available in your community? Then look for ways to source for them cheaply and sell. This is something that can bring you a huge turnover. But remember, that thing has to be essential. Etc. Etc. The major point is look for a problem you can solve. There are ideas everywhere. Go on a walk, talk to your neighbours - what do they NEED but can't get easily. |
What skill or handwork do you have? This will enable us to know how to advice you better. |

Wealthoptulent:The whole Nigeria doesn't have the road network that Lagos has. It'll take years before before BRTs can operate comfortably in other states. |
Ayor93:Although, we are not in Lagos (Ife, Osun State), we do 3d sublimation printing and borderless printing. It mostly depends on the design, type of clothe/fabric and style that you want. But you'll most likely require borderless print. |

Creeza:For what other reasons do people go into politics or do anything else for that matter? If you don't benefit from something - even if it is just the happiness of helping others - you won't do it. Also for now, I have no plans contesting for anything however if the opportunity comes up, I definitely will not reject it. Lastly, I am not going into politics merely for self-gratification. While I am not a saint, I still consider myself a good person. I also know how I have suffered under this administration. I can't subject others to the same. |
richiemcgold:This! For now, na the opportunities and contracts I dey eye. I'm in Osun presently. APC is the ruling party but things may change (except they buy votes again sha.) So should I join APC who will win if they spend or PDP? |
LordviccoDaGuru:Corruption is less hidden? That's true though. It is now done openly. |
I did not care about politics in the past. I have never voted, I refused to participate in political discussions until recently. Now, I'd like to really get involved - attend Ward Meetings, go for rallies and so on. The problem is I do not know which party to join. Sincerely, I feel the youths' proclamation of Peter Obi and all these slangs are just a reenactment of what happened in 2015. They want a Messiah which I do not think any of our current contenders are. Anyway, I'd like to seek your help on which party: ✓ cares for the masses mostly, ✓ offers the most benefits to their members in terms of jobs, connections, etc. ✓ gives the best platform for a possible future political career? Thank You. PS: Someone should please tell Seun to create a poll function. It is really necessary. |

Sometimes, you need some extra cash to take care of some emergencies. After all other avenues have been exhausted, you might have to turn to loan apps for help. Unfortunately, some loan sharks have invaded the online financial lending platforms. They offer loans with huge interests and tenures of 7 – 14 days. When their clients are unable to meet up to their ridiculous demands, they resort to devious means to retrieve their money like ‘sending defamation messages to the contacts of their clients’ among other methods. However, there are loan apps that are registered and accredited by Credit Bureau Nigeria (CBN). These apps are professional and some even work with you to figure out a repayment plan. Disclaimer: Some wicked people see this as an avenue to borrow without paying back. Please note that other people need these loans for their own emergencies, not to mention the employees of the various companies who depend on your repayment for their salaries. Please do not borrow if you have no intention of paying back! Photo Credit: Punch Ng The following are loan apps in Nigeria that don’t defame their customers:

Everyone saying the OONI doesn't have the constitutional rights to impose curfew is right. However, you all don't know what is going on in Ife presently. Hoodlums have been terrorizing neighbourhoods enmasse these past few days. I personally know households they have attacked and people they have killed. The worst thing is they are doing this openly. They go about every night shouting, dragging their cutlasses across the ground and burning tires causing hysteria before finally deciding on homes to attack. They even leave letters announcing their intent to attack others. Since those with the constitutional rights have refused to step in, it would be wrong if a leader like the OONI does not step in. ‘The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing.’ |
