I always love Ebonyi state leadership.
Former Governor and current Governor are in tandem.
Nwifuru is focusing on welfare, while Dave focused on infrastructure.
Ebonyi na aga n’iru. |

Similar to National Health Insurance Act (NHIA) of Federal Government.
More Ebonyians to have access to subsidised healthcare, surgeries, and drugs, especially poor rural dwellers.
Well done Nwifuru.
Ebonyi Abakaliki is First South East State to commence State Health Insurance Scheme. |
Politics › Ebonyi State Govt Unveils State Health Insurancr Scheme by Ebubu(op): 5:59pm On Nov 07, 2023*. Modified: 11:11am On Nov 08, 2023 |
Similar to National Health Insurance Act (NHIA). We will continue to explore health initiatives for the good of our people, being a key sector in realization of our Peoples Charter of Needs.
Today, we hosted the Ebonyi State Health Insurance Summit, wherein we have undertaken to make available, 5% monthly contributions for all civil servants to enroll in the State Health Insurance Scheme, from January 2024. Additionally, the State will provide the sum of Two Hundred Million Naira annually, for the informal sector to take part in the scheme.
We know the importance of providing improved healthcare services for our people and as well, the financial implications that come with it. This is why as Government, we have stepped in to ensure better health for our people, while reducing the financial burden, as we promised in our manifesto.
I encourage all business men and well-to-do ones of our dear State, to adopt Health Insurance as Corporate Social Responsibility and as Constituency Projects. Through this, we will be able to protect our people from financial hardship that may arise from exhorbitant medical bills. https://x.com/francisnwifuru/status/1721932495162073464?s=46&t=ys-cZV4zkR89r8VbDR8jeg

What sense does it make to wet the appetite of shareholders this FY with astronomical dividends due to currency revaluation only to throw them under the bus when same is not available next FY? Look for something else to cry on or better still go to a beer parlour where you can be the C Ronaldo with your limited knowledge. what should they do with profit gotten from currency revaluation? Issue loans? Fund mortgage? Just what ? |

So, many people wey for dey patronise aboki, don dey patronise banks. Aboki lose money, banks now again. Unlike before banks had no dollars and were directing all the demands to aboki, bureau de change were making the real money. Na to own bank for Tinubu regime sure pass. |

Politics › Politicians Started Dollarizing Our Economy. This Is How by Ebubu(op): 8:28am On Nov 03, 2023 |
In December 2019 all the major PDP presidential aspirants especially Atiku, and Tambuwal were sharing hard paper Dollars at PDP presidential primaries to Party Delegates in Port Harcourt. Fast forward APC and PDP Presidential primaries, Wike, Atiku, all Presidential Candidates shared Hard Paper Dollars to Woo party Delegates to vote for them, thereby increasing the demand for Dollar. In recent months, many businesses now accept Naira and Dollar currencies in cash as means of payment making. Let us not talk about British and American Schools in Nigeria that demand payments in Dollars. What of Airlines ? Now local petroleum distributors in Nigeria are threatening to start accepting Dollars. Which way Nigeria ? |

Is this getting out of hand ?
It is not trending because it is not Deborah that was killed in Sokoto by Islamic Extremists but Igbos commit jungle justice too like primitive people
People gathered but no one dared help
One was seeing packing buckets of expensive fuel to pour on them.
Nothing wrong in taking them to police custody and ensuring he is charged to court.
Are Onitsha people lawless??
This is jungle justice of Igbo people on Igbo people.
The politicians go Scot free. Oby Ezekwesili or Obi won’t condemn jungle justice. https://x.com/hillsmezie/status/1719768029431496766?s=46&t=ys-cZV4zkR89r8VbDR8jeg

Nahh apc still need Wike though. He is their plan to ensure Atiku doesn’t get the ticket in 2027. Sim may have already received backing from atiku during this imbroglio. Remember sim is still in pdp and likely loyal to atiku. If sim promises to work against atiku, abuja will support him in his ousting of Wike. They may even go ahead to listen to northerners complaining about Wike style of abj governance to remove him and heap charges against him. Sim just needs to promise abuja to work against Atiku and receive IG of police and judge’s backing |

Seefinish: Atiku should be laughing hard at Wike by now.
Three things are going to happen to Wike
1. He is going to be suspended from the party 2. His core loyalists will be sacked while some will pledge allegiance to Fubara and retain their jobs. 3. APC will close its door against him thereby making him a political orphan Nahh apc still need Wike though. He is their plan to ensure Atiku doesn’t get the ticket in 2027. Slurity: If any state will be librated in southeast, Ebonyi will be the first. They are just unfortunate to be with the rest, they appear to me more smart and civilised. The hatred they receive from other Igbo makes them better. i swear. Other Igbos hate them but they are very detribalised, humble, not proud, and are into only honest hardwork such as masonry, hardwork whereas their Igbo brothers carry cocaine and commit rituals to make money. Ebonyi politics is very mature too and devoid of hatred at other Nigerians. |
Family › Re: My Fiancée Is Acting Suspicious by Ebubu: 10:05am On Oct 29, 2023 |
paulosan: Hi Nairalanders, I had to use this new moniker for the purpose of this post.
I have been going out with my lady for 7 months now, and the relationship has been beautiful with everything falling in the right places, she has most of the qualities i have always desired in a woman.
I traveled out of town for two weeks, i got back yesterday, she opted to make me something before i got back so she went to my house earlier yesterday to prepare food.
I noticed that since I got back she has been texting on her smaller phone and has been carrying the phone everywhere while leaving the big one on the bed or anywhere. She work up this morning and continued texting on that phone, i have been acting like i am not seeing all the moves so that i can actually find out what it is.
I am trying so hard to be calm in other not to make her realize and wipe anything that might be as a pointer to evidence.
I have been having different thoughts as to have to handle it: 1. I was thinking of checking the phone, depending on what i see, i will ask her who she has been texting, i will after a few days like i did not see anything. 2. The second thought was i ask her who she has been texting and request that she opens the text and we see together.
I don't want to jump into conclusion until i see what it is. I really don't know what to do, i am confused and i don't want to make mistakes with my marital life as i plan settling down.
Please advice me, criticism is welcomed as i know some people will come at me. don’t appeal to flirts, do the same and they will be the one calling for truce. |
