During my service year then in Enugu, I was staying with my senior brother. His next door neighbor a lady, her junior sister came around. she would watch movie in our room till late midnight and sometimes sleep in our room.

During days that I didn't go to school or cds, she'll come over and stay with me, watch movies on my laptop. We'll play and I liked her flat tummy. One day, we were playing, she now told me to help her hook her bra, I searched for the bra hook and couldn't see it.

I was tempted to grab her bobson from the back, but My body was willing but my spirit held back. I now told her to gimme the hook, she did and I hooked the bra.

I still thank God I didn't do something funny that day.

A suspected ritual killer, Tunde Tayo of Ungwan Roka, Maitumbi, Minna in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State has been arrested by the Police after burying a headless body in his uncompleted building.

A suspected ritual killer, Tunde Tayo of Ungwan Roka, Maitumbi, Minna in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State has been arrested by the Police after burying a headless body in his uncompleted building.

Tayo was caught after cutting off the head and removing the heart and intestines of the Okada at the Crystal FM area in Maitunbi.

The victim, 25-year-old Abdullahi Salle, our Correspondent learnt, was a bikeman popularly known as Okada.

The 30-year-old Tayo was reportedly apprehended by police operatives attached to the Maitumbi Division for killing his victim of Ungwan Rama for ritual purposes.
Upon interrogation, the suspect claimed to be clearing grasses grown in the building before he was apprehended.

Further investigation revealed that Salle’s body was buried by the suspect in a shallow grave near his house.

In an interview with our Correspondent on Saturday, the suspect said he lured his victim to his uncompleted building in Ungwan Roka, where he carried out the crime.

Sometime last year my widowed mother met this man who's into oil bunkering who said he was interested in learning about poultry farming and she in turn will learn his. As at then she was doing well she had a poultry business, mobile banking business, and she supplies things to companies.

Now this man is a divorcee with 3boys from his ex-wife and 3kids from two different women, all this children he doesn't train them.

In the guise of learning each other's business they both started dating and somehow he stopped her from staying with we her kids that were at home ( I,17 being the eldest at home then and a jambite, elder ones are in school)
She started living with him, hardly attends to her business because he always wants her home when he returns. He controlled every aspect of her life.

Stop blaming Men, blame your daft mum who lacked sense of reasoning. The man was a divorcee with numerous kids out of wedlock, who he doesn't take care of. She still went ahead to date the man. All these Kalabari/Ikwere men and women and there uselessness.

Gov Ihedioha flags-off 9.8bn Erosion Control Project at Urualla.

The governor of Imo State, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha has flagged -off the Ezemazu Urualla Gully Erosion erosion control project at Urualla in Ideato North Local Government Council of Imo state.

The project which costs Nine Billion, Nine Hundred and Eighty One Million, Seven Hundred and Sixty Five Thousand,Five Hundred and Fourteen Naira, Fourteen Kobo, (₦9,981,765,514.14), is supervised by Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), while a reputable Construction Company, Arab Contractors will handle the project.

The governor said that his administration had paid the N500M counterpart funding to Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), an agency of the World Bank, under the Federal Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, to bring lasting solutions to the problems of erosion in the state and open doors for Development partners to come into the State.

He said, "it is the priority of the government to safeguard lives and properties of Imolites. Erosion poses a threat to both. Hence when NEWMAP called on the state government for partnership, I directed that half a billion Naria counterpart funding be paid to the agency whose track records are known to the us.

The Imo number one who commissioned the erosion control scheme at Ideato North civic center, decried the infrastructural decay in the state and financial recklessness of the past administration but assured that his administration is prepared for governance and in a hurry to redevelop the state.

Gov Ihedioha said, "We are in a hurry to redevelop Imo State and we will stop at nothing to restore the glory days of the state. Records available to us suggest that huge amount of money was mapped out by the previous administration to remedy the menace of erosion in Ideato North and other places, sadly but unsurprisingly, the projects were not carried out and the funds were not accounted for, leaving the residents at the mercy of flooding for the past five years"

"The site has no doubt discouraged economic activities between Orsu and Ideato North Local Government Councils as it links to a major market in Orsu LGA, Ekeututu Market”.

The governor noted that no government can succeed without partnering with agencies like NEWMAP, "What we commissioned today is a project worth 9.8 billion Naria but we only had to pay half a billion to have access to it. This is so because we know how to properly engage the services of agencies like NEWMAP for the development of our state.

Reassuring that both rural and urban areas would get equal attention from the government, "We came here to keep to our words that IMO will be on one page.
I said there will be no north, there will be no south. IMO will be a one stop shop. What is important to us is to improve the quality of lives of our people irrespective of where you came from," the governor said.

In his remarks, the team leader of NEWMAP, Dr Amos Abu, said Gov Ihedioha had shown purpose in leadership and interest in the welfare of Imolites. He noted that Ihedioha displayed wisdom by cashing in on the olive branch extended by the agency.

Dr Abu, who was represented by the National Project coordinator of NEWMAP, Alhaji Salisu Dahiru, said," The erosion site is the biggest of all the works NEWMAP is doing in Nigeria. Imo governor is interested in the welfare of his people. The Community and the people must consider themselves lucky for having a governor that is interested in bringing projects home”.

“For more than 8 years we have had this golly erosion site. In less than two months, the project has been flagged off by the Governor. That for us is a mark of leadership”, Dahiru noted.

The Governor was accompanied by Barr. Chima Nwana, the Deputy Chief if Staff, Barr. PGU Madu, the Chief Technical Adviser, Mr Chinedu Okpalaeke, Chief Chineme Ihuaku, Permanent Secretaries, among other top Government officials.

I pray he completes that project, I'll visit that site when I travel home for Christmas. it's just close to my place. Rochas did nothing about that place, just wanted to embezzle the money World Bank mapped out for this project.

Nigeria-born British lawmaker, Fiona Onasanya has become the first ever Member of Parliament (MP) to be removed from office following a recall petition.

According to BBC News, Onasanya, the former MP for Peterborough, was found guilty of lying to avoid a speeding ticket and sentenced to three months in prison. She was released after serving less than a month in jail.

In a statement released shortly after the recall petition votes were counted, Peterborough City Council said: “19,261 people signed the Peterborough parliamentary seat recall petition – 27.64 per cent of the number of people eligible to sign. The petition is successful and the Peterborough seat is now vacant.”

The number of signatories amounted to 27.6 per cent of eligible voters.

For Onasanya’s removal to be prompted under a recall petition, 10 per cent of her constituents needed to sign in favour of her losing her seat in order for her to be removed.

Petitions can be triggered in the event that an MP is convicted of an offence in the UK and handed a custodial sentence, including a suspended sentence.

In Parliament on Thursday, Commons speaker John Bercow relayed to MPs the outcome of the petition.

Bercow said: “Fiona Onasanya is no longer the member for Peterborough and the seat is accordingly vacant.

“She can therefore no longer participate in any parliamentary proceedings as a member of parliament.”

The former Labour Party member has repeatedly denied guilt. In March she lost an appeal against her conviction.

Onasanya, 35, who was first elected in 2017, will be eligible to stand in the by-election, which is expected to take place in early June.

Nigel Farage has announced that his Brexit Party will compete in the Peterborough by-election.
“I can confirm that @brexitparty_uk will fight the Peterborough by-election. We will give it our best shot,” he tweeted.

Nine Nigerians have been arrested in the United States of America for defrauding businesses and individuals of more than $3.5million.

This was made known by Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York,  and James C. Spero, Homeland Security Investigations (HIS) Special Agent-in-Charge of the Tampa, Florida, Field Office of US, in an announcement made on Thursday.

The suspects allegedly posed as oil workers in Russia.

Further investigations showed that each of the defendants possesses three different emails used in defrauding their victims.

The suspects are Oluwaseun Adelekan a.k.a. Sean Adelekan, Olalekan  Daramola, Solomon Aburekhanlen,  Gbenga Oyeneyin, Abiola Olajumoke, Temitope Omotayo, Bryan Eadie, Albert Lucas and Ademola Adebogun.

Each of the suspects faces a maximum potential sentence of 20 years in prison.

U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman said: “As alleged, these defendants deployed three different email schemes to defraud their victims.

“The common denominator in all three schemes was the defendants’ alleged fleecing of their victims through fictitious online identities.

“The schemes allegedly earned the defendants $3.5 million – and also arrests on federal felony charges.”

HSI Special Agent-in-Charge James C. Spero said: “A transnational criminal organisation allegedly conducting illicit domestic and international wire fraud has been dismantled thanks to the hard work of HSI Tampa and Special Agents from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

“This case illustrates the unique investigative authority and international reach of HSI.”

As alleged in their indictment, the defendants participated in a scheme to defraud businesses and individuals through several categories of false and misleading representations, including but not limited to:

"Sending victims email messages that appeared to be, but were not, from legitimate business counterparties that included instructions to the victims to wire payment to those seemingly legitimate business counterparties into bank accounts that were actually under the control of, and/or maintained by, Adelekan, Daramola, Aburekhanlen, Oyeneyin, Olajumoke, Omotayo, Eadie, Lucas, and Adebogun (the “Business Email Compromise Scam”);

"Sending email messages and text messages to at least one victim offering an opportunity to invest in oil stored in Russian oil tank farms conditioned on that victim wiring upfront payments into bank accounts purportedly affiliated with the purported oil investment but actually opened by and under the control of Aburekhanlen, Olajumoke, and Oyeneyin (the “Russian Oil Scam”); and
"Sending email messages and text messages to at least one victim from an individual (or individuals) purporting to be a female with romantic intentions toward the victim requesting, further to establishing a romantic relationship, the wiring of payment into a bank account under the control of Omotayo (the “Romance Scam”).
