DrealGio: Firstly, thanks for the reply. uOttawa & Queen's, 3.48, and the former made mention of contacting a will be supervisor, though one can still apply if he doesn't get any.

Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ might be lucky to get admitted but Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ av to bear in mind dat Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ will be competing 4 a space wit other "TOP" students all over the world. 3.48 cgpa aint bad though, but if the applications they get av outstanding results, it might be difficult to secure a space in the department...

DrealGio: Hello house, I have this question to ask; my application to Centennial College has been confirmed successful and I'm asked to make a deposit of 1115 dols for the offer letter to be sent. Kinda worried now 'cos the other applications I submitted for masters study aint out yet and the schools are asking me to chill, that it takes 8-10 weeks for them to finally decide on my app.

Abeg, wetin una suggest? The thing is taking too much time and I expect them to know that their embassy in Nigeria usually take 4-6 months to process our applications. And the Centennial, once u pay, that one don go 'cos I can only get a refund if the embassy denies me **** kindly info me on how to go about the ish. Thanks lovely peeps!!

Infact, i think one just need to do the right thing and be prayerful. what you said is right, my friend got his trv last year and had even finished his program at manitoba last month... he never put all these things not even landed or marrital documents ( i saw his application as an empty docs but he got it)

Dats God's favour @ work, but if Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ have any relevant document related to ur application don't hesitate to include it. Its better to be "over" prepared, Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ neva can tell the mood of the VO who would handle ur file.

Danyl: I send my high school and university transcript and my file was said to be complete, but what the man is saying is disturbing i expect the ones i sent to be transferred to him since they are all in the same file....

1. the second one you sent, was it another copy of the first one you sent...?
2. do you mean the supporting documents should contain 2 transcripts of my university education,though i've never come across that information on their portal...

The second one I sent ȋ̊§ also the original not photocopy. ♍Ɣ dept. Explained that they will need to keep one transcript in ur dept while the other ȋ̊§ sent to the dean of faculty. I also had this challenge, so they explained it to me and referred me to their website where I saw it myself. Sorry 4 the late response

mercylicious: @ all, I wrote cdhc yesterday to inform me of my file no as I want to update my docs. I decided to do dt cos they have never quoted it in any correspondence wit them, today, the sent me d file no. Atleast, am sure my applicatn isn't missing from their office. Lol

If Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ sent just one transcript earlier, I will advice dat Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ send another one. Its clearly stated on their website dat the supporting documents shld contain two(2) transcripts.

Danyl: @ebugirl, how u doing.... i just receivd a message from the associate director of admissions at dalhousie university to forward another university transcript when i have already done so since may 24, and it appeared on my menu that it has been received on the 30th of may, i really dont understand this people... though i deferred my admission till january 2013, while no letter of acceptance has been sent to me what do you i should do, actually i mailed the man back to check the registrar's office for as i have already sent one, but the automated reply i got was that he will be resuming back to work on august 3,am tired of this people....

I'm fine dear, how many transcripts did Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ send? I sent one initiaLly and I was later told to send a second one, which I did.

Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ dnt need to notorise the photocopy of ur data page since Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ r also submitting ur passport. Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ only notorise documents wen the original isn't available. 4 home ties, I used landed documents and share documents

I got my TRV yesterday. shavel: at times people would complain of their questions not being answered, when the answer to their question is all over the pages of the previous threads, or their question is not worth to be asked or answered
The answer to your question goes thus: tell your sponsor to write a letter to his bank telling them to draft a letter of reference in his name(he is the one to be referred) stating he is sponsoring you to xxxxxx for xxxxxxx reasons, leave the rest to the bank they know how to go about it make sure u include the embassy's address.

As par the letter of sponsorship, it doesn't not have a specific format, tell ur sponsor to write it the way he knows how to do it best........ And u may not need this since u can get an affidavit of sponsorship from the nearest high court.

Shavel Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ r so right, but can I chip in something? I think its better to provide all the documents if Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ can lay ur hands on them, cos Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ aren't gonna b dere to xplain tinz to the VO. The documents which the embassy didn't return back to me, I think ȋ̊§ very important to them.
1. Letter of sponsorship
2 affidavit of support
3 sponsor's letter of introduction frm employer.


All the others were returned, even the reference letter frm the bank. However each case ȋ̊§ treated differently, so Ɣõu̶̲̥̅̊ neva can tell wat the VO handly ur case may request. Let's not take chances....good morning mates
