emmanuelewumi: The CEOs salary increased from N42 million in 2018 to N147 million in 2019.Higher than the pay of the CEOs of FBN, Access Bank and UBA, about the pay of the CEO of Zenith. This is a red flag for a struggling business that is about to be turned around
The new core Investors might not be different from the guys who wrecked Oando.
Investors should be cautiously optimistic, avoid company's that are managed by Wizkid young CEO.
In another news the CEO worked for some years at Ocean and Oil The Wale Tinubu connection |

wuwu2: I am just trying to learn TA having followed @bbm and @fxuser on this forum for a year now. I just looked at zenith charts and my impressions; After a serious gap down in March, it had since formed a strong support at 10.64. From April, however, it has been on an uptrend. This differs from the general downtrend @meshpips showed. The current most likely support, should it fall again, is at 13.48 and 12.62 respectively. The current uptrend should it continue, should reach a decision point at 16.98 (I suppose that's why @oracle expects price to reach 17. Now from here, the possibilities are to break the resistance, which if it does, it's likely to have a consolidation around there, with a gradual continuation pattern for the uptrend. The other possibility is 16.98 forms a new resistance, and it reverts to support at 13.48. What do you think? @meshpips, @oracle, @bbm, @fxuser NB...strictly for academic purposes How do you determine the support and resistance? Using the moving averages? |

Africa prudential registrar q1 wasn't that bad at all... I expect the q1 from the blue chips to start rolling in next week...
That might be a better measure of how things go... Yeah they may not be too bad considering the operating environment but I think only few companies might do well |

seyisanya: Sir, so many events happened between the time it sold at that high price and the current price. Examples are share bonus, dividend payout, dividend yield increase etc.
Consequently, smart long term investors who study financial statements of the companies they are invested in and pay attention to the figures will see the sign and bail out before the tsunami .
Pa Emma(@emmanuelewumi) is a long term investor, and I hope he will shed more light on this. Another thing if I may add is management... the new md of Cadbury seems to be solid |

seyisanya: Sir, I doubt if you have access to their FY report 2019. Recovery check is not about stock price difference, else 90% of coys on NSE will be a no go area!. I think they're not doing badly at the moment. WAPCO, UACN etc are also examples of companies on a good path after the storm. It’s actually one of the company’s financial statements I read... it’s a company I like for no particular reason... I’m just thinking of the long term shareholders that have been holding for years, do you ever see it rebounding in the mid term like the likes of uacn and Wapco are |

seyisanya: The stock market generally responds to likely future events, not necessarily about the present. The very reason why markets around the world tanked heavily at the wake of COVID-19 and responded positively when government interventions started trickling in. I think the market will generally continue to travel north but will definitely make slight pullbacks here and there as the news of economies re-opening, and the flattening of curves of COVID -19 continue to happen. My advice: Let's stay invested! true, and also as countries gradually start opening up and activities resume. I heard spain is opening up cautiously setting up a template for how countries apart from China can open up. https://www.mercurynews.com/2020/04/13/spain-cautiously-begins-to-exit-coronavirus-lockdown/ |
