That year 2003, I sent him to HOR via Express delivery, all expenses paid. Bought his form, sponsored all his campaign and paid all his legal fees and guaranteed his second term. All done unsolicited! Twenty years later, 2023 election, he personally selected all my agents. Arranged my suspension and expulsion from PDP. Despite loosing his polling booth twice, back to back while "sitting " as governor in Enugu.

Gburus personally made calls supervising sabotage of my election. Voting PDP for Governor and Labour for Senate. 8 years, he delivered ZILCH. Roads zero!Water zero Health zero!Education zero."Dirty" everywhere! 2 terms/8 years the Presidency commissioned ZERO! My Ex-governor escaped without A SINGLE press conference or media tête-à-tête in 8 years.He danced while Igbo Land burnt. He lacked the ‘liver’ to condemn ‘sit at home’/Home lockdown nor condemn the killings. His governmental incompetence festered the angst and social burn!

Nigerian clergywoman, Becky Paul-Enenche, has warned married women against checking their husband's phones, IGBERETV reports.

She said this while preaching in church recently. She attributed such actions to lack of trust as she advised couples to build trust in their marriage.

Becky who has been married to Pastor Paul Enechie for 29 years, therefore asked women to mind their business and stop invading their husband's privacy.

A video which captured a Nigerian man challenging a clergyman who allegedly contracted him to help get information on his church members, in order to give ‘fake prophecies’ has been trending on social media, IGBERETV reports.

In the viral video, the angry man alleged that the clergyman contracted him to go about picking sensitive information about his church members which he then uses during his prophet ministration.

The information leaves church members in shock and will in-turn make them feel the pastor is indeed a genuine man of God.

The angry man said the clergyman failed to fulfill his end of their bargain by paying him the money for his services.

The clergyman however refused, stating that he would ‘call on the holy spirit’ to deal with his ’business partner.'

Borno South senator, Ali Ndume has said that the All Progressives Congress has secured the support of 69 out of 109 senators-elect for Senate President aspirant Godswill Akpabio and Deputy Senate President aspirant Barau Jibrin, IGBERETV reports.

The Borno lawmaker said the 69 Senators-elect are members of the ‘Stability Group’ and have already appended their signatures for their aspiration.

Ndume who led the Akpabio campaign team to Lagos for a meeting with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said the former Akwa Ibom governor will win with a clear majority.

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba has said that the May 29 inauguration date remains sacrosanct while giving out a warning to politicians and political parties, IGBERETV reports.

On Monday, May 15, the police chief said they have been working closely with the national intelligence community to stop any incident that will affect the country's security interests.

He said;

“Following the successful conclusion of the 2023 General elections, it has been observed that some major political actors that the outcome did not favour, have been issuing public threats that are directed at instigating actions to frustrate the Presidential inauguration ceremony on 29th May, 2023.

“The Nigeria Police and the national intelligence community have been closely monitoring the activities of these political elites as well as other elements who have formed themselves into unpatriotic brands whose only fantasy, in recent times, is to subvert our national security interests.

“In so doing, they seem to be bent on deploying extra-judicial and undemocratic means to truncate our democratic heritage in advancement of their narrow personal political considerations."

Gunmen have killed Ebenezer Matthew, the youth leader of Abarikpo community in Akoh Kingdom, Ahoada-East local government area of Rivers State, IGBERETV reports.

According to report, Matthew was shot dead on Wednesday night, May 3, 2023.

Confirming his death in an interview with journalists in Port Harcourt on Thursday, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Akoh Youth Congress (AYC), Comrade Ekeakita Hector Chineme called on security agencies and political leaders in Ekpeye ethnic nationality to rise up to check the activities of cultists in the area.

“Yes, it is true that Comrade Mathew Ebenezer was shot dead yesterday night (Wednesday) in his hometown, in his father’s compound. The only thing I know about Matthew is that he is not somebody that condones illegality,” he said.

"He is somebody that has been standing firm, fighting against cultists, against insecurity in the community and I believe that is one of the two things that might have led to his death. But, I know he has been a good person in the Akoh kingdom. The matter has been reported to the Police. As I am speaking to you now, they are preparing for his burial."

Matthew's death ocurred in less than three months after suspected cultists gang-raped a married woman, Chigbewejim Lawyer, to death in the same community.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the killing but said it was not cult-related.

The PPRO stated that the Police have identified the person who led the gang that killed the youth leader. She added that efforts were on to arrest the culprits as investigation continues.

“Prince Adesoji Adesida was killed in Akure by an OPC member Rafiu Akinwale (a.k.a Slow) from ibadan last Friday during a funeral ceremony of our beloved family member. He was arrested by by the police DPO at Ala, Akure. However OPC is trying to get him out of the police without him facing the full extent of the law. Please help us spread the message so OPC do not get away with this murder of a peacemaker Prince Adesoji Adesida

‘’How A Student Doctor "Butchered" my Wife to Death At the Edo Specialist Hospital

When my Wife _ Faith Oghogho took in, i Registered Her for Antenatal @ the Edo Specialist Hospital with the sum of #70,000

On the 27th Day of March, 2023 as time for her Delivery Approaches, i took her to the said Hospital. After Meeting the Doctor he checked and induced her and told us to come back in the evening that same day. We actually went back at about 4pm in the evening that same day.

From there, my Wife was Ushered into the Labour Ward.

She Laboured from that Monday evening till 11am Wednesday morning before she finally gave Birth to a Baby Boy without any Operation Conducted on Her.

Immediately after Delivery, She Started Bleeding __

I was Told by the Doctor that the only way to stop the Bleeding was to Remove Her Womb. Like a Sick Patient who must obey it's Physician, i Concurred. In the Process of Removing her Womb, the Kidney was affected. This aggravated the whole thing. She kept Bleeding.

The Doctor again instructed that i have to buy Blood.

I bought (22 Pans of Blood), also bought Blood from Live Donors. But all to no Avail.

From here, the Doctor instructed i do Dialysis which i did for (3 Days) at the Cost of #80,000 After which Doctor Osahon Placed my Wife on intensive Care since Her Kidney had already be Tampered with.

A day before she die, i was told to discharge the Newborn Baby so as to minimize the Hospital Bills, which my Wife consented to.

The following day after discharging the Baby, at 6am in the morning i received a Phone call from the Hospital that my Wife was dead, that I should Hurry up to come and remove her dead Body as they don't have Mortuary in the Hospital.

Getting there, i was made to pay #600,000 as balance Payment before allowing me to carry my Deceased wife to a Morgue elsewhere.

On the 18th Day of April after her Death, i received a Phone Call from the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Hospital _ Professor Sunday Adeoye with this Number 08034684739 that my attention was needed at the Hospital in Respect to my Wife's Death. Getting there with some of my family members, we met the CMD, and one Doctor Oriakhi, amongst (7 other Doctors) of the Hospital who condole and apologize to us that they have discovered that it was a Student Doctor that Operated my Wife. The CMD further said assuming we have not paid the Hospital Bills, they would have deducted from the Bills for us. But since the Hospital Bills had already been paid and entered into Government Account, there's nothing they or anybody can do unless such person want to throw weght with the Government, that the Hospital belongs to the Government. He further assured us that even if we go to Court, it'll never be for our Favour since the Government is involved.

At this juncture, i'm therefore using this Platform to call on the Government and all and Sundry especially all Relevant Agencies Saddled with such responsibility with such cases as mine, to Please help investigate and the Needful be done.

The Vacuum left for me is Over Weighing. Taking care of the Newborn Baby with the other Kids in the Absense of my Wife make my Heart Bleeds.''

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) said on Tuesday that Noodles made in Nigeria are safe for consumption and have nothing to do with the noodles produced in Taiwan and Malaysia, IGBERETV reports.

Director-General of NAFDAC, Mojisola Adeyeye said this as a guest on a popular TV show, 'Your View', aired on TVC television, and monitored by IGBERETV.

Mojisola further added that “foreign noodles have been banned from entering the country by the Nigerian government many years ago and this is on the Nigerian Customs Service importation prohibition list and this is to encourage local production of noodles and backward integration of the economy.”

NAFDAC also said it is working to ensure that foreign-made noodles are not smuggled into the country. NAFDAC Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (FSAN) organisation, has commenced post-marketing surveillance (PMS) and the Food Lab Services Directorate has also been activated on the issue.

According to the Group Corporate Communications and Event Manager, Dufil Prima Foods Plc, Tope Ashiwaju, said “Indomie Nigeria is different and a separate entity from Indomie Taiwan, and Indomie Malaysia. Indomie instant Noodles is locally produced in the country and operations have been ongoing for at least three decades. Dufil Prima has improved local capacity utilisation and has aided enhanced production to meet market demand, rather than depending on importation.”

The World Instant Noodles Association (WINA) says Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation, is currently among the largest consumers of instant noodles with 1.92 million servings as of May 2020.

The ban on the importation of instant noodles is not a recent development, as instant noodles have been on the importation prohibition list of the Federal Government for a long time.

The first batch of Nigerian evacuees from Sudan received N100,000 each, N25,000 worth of recharge cards and 1.5 Gigabytes data upon their return to Nigeria, IGBERETV reports.

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Farouq, disclosed these at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Thursday morning, May 4.

The Nigerians fleeing the crisis in Sudan arrived in Nigeria from Eygpt. They arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 11.40 pm on Wednesday, May 3, with an estimate of 376 evacuees. About 282 persons were conveyed by the Air Peace aircraft while the Nigeria Air Force evacuated 94 back to the country.

Addressing Nigerians at the Airport, Sadiya Farouq said;

“Today, we are very happy to receive them. They have gone through a very traumatic period but we give thanks to Almighty Allah that all of them are back safely. No life was lost which is the most important thing. All the efforts put in place were not in vain. I thank every member of the Committee that has put all efforts to ensure that these people are brought back safely and with dignity. We thank the transport companies for their support.

“There is N100,000 that would transport them back to their families which is supported by the Dangote Foundation by giving them the transportation fare as well as the dignity kits and also 25,000 recharge cards from MTN and 1.5 GB data courtesy of MTN. All efforts have been put in place and everyone has contributed to ensuring that at least these Nigerians have some comfort when they return home.”, she said.

The returnees were handed the N100,000 cash and the dignity kits at the airport after putting down their information.
