It is in force in any Islamic country or state that has adopted sharia law. The rule is simple: don't criticise or say anything bad about Allah or his prophet Mohammed. It doesn't matter if you are a muslim or not. And it is often abused by many people to settle scores. That's why one should be careful up North because you can easily be lynched upon an alarm.

Thanks...
I use to think the Islamic laws is applied for cases between Muslims alone.
But now, you said whether Muslims or not, it doesn't matter.

Mehn, this is not good... How can someone who is not a Muslim be judged with the Sharia laws, it doesn't make sense.

I am against killing somebody for saying something silly about Allah or Mohammed. More so, being a Nigerian citizen, the superiority of the constitution to sharia law should give him reprieve.

However, my question is why should somebody blatantly and foolishly make a blasphemous statement when he knows the consequences in an Islamic society. Sing about love, life, corrupt politicians, etc but stay away from the 'trouble zone'. I think the condemned fellow is an emotionally unintelligent person.

The truth is that WISDOM is key in life. A wise man understands his environment. Even Jesus Christ was very carefully in choosing his battles with the Pharisees because he knew that any mistake would truncate his mission on earth before the appointed time.

By the way, Bashir Ahmed like most Muslims knows that it is too dangerous to condem the death penalty openly. It is about personal safety.

Please, does this Islamic laws apply to non muslims?
Or, is it just anybody staying in northern Nigeria...
Please, anybody with info on this should clear me. Thanks

Damn!! Anything they eat/do is the standard. I have not met up to 7 Anambra people without this attitude.

Dear Poco,
I have been following your thread, and I must commend you for your good cooking knowledge. I have learnt a lot from you, and I try to practice once in a while following your methods step by step. Thank you a lot.

However, I find your submission about Anambra men very disturbing, infact I got irritated at some point, and wondered what Anambra men must have done to you....I know you are very intelligent and understand the danger of reckless generalisation. How can you even say majority of Anambra men are supremacist? I'm from Anambra and I'm not! I have relatives and they are not!
Again, I think you have problem with Igbo Men in general....not just Anambra men..

Poco, I'm sorry to say this, you hate Igbo men!!!
Just see the way you described Abiribia and Ngwa men...

Nne, I still love your threads a lot. But, then I will advice you stop making derogatory comments about Anambra men and other Igbo men... It is disgusting.

So it depends on your role though.
Some contract staffs earn more than some staffs of the banks.

Some are direct contract, especially if you are skillful. You can arrange a direct contract if your boss likes you.

But if you are teller at the bank, you might want to save enough to leave.

Hardly a career prospect.

P.S:
I am currently on a direct contract with a bank. I use to work with a firm but i got in direct because i have skills that my boss likes... By the way, i am in tech. and i earn more than a lot of full time staffs

Good Evening bro... Please, what are the relevant skills you gained that made you stand out.

I anticipate your reply. Thanks.
