The essence of church wedding to my own understanding, is for the marriage to blessed in the church. Not that you are not leggally married to start enjoying yr thing?

The question still remains why is church against couple living together after trad wedding?

Layi, I quite agree with this, my great grand parents who wedded them. Afterall there are three types of marriage " Customary, Traditional and Religious", me personally I believe church wedding is just a ceremony, the real thing is the agreement b/w the two families (traditional rites) sefini.

Why would a church first take a woman for pregnancy test b/f they are wedded, meaning they should be having sex but dont get pregnant, who are we decieving.

You guys have a point there, but dont yu think its not morally right for yu to start sleeping with someone who already slept with your sis/brother.
