That is Nigeria for you.

Don't mind the useless moderators on Nairaland. Just because of a few minority Igbos in APC, they came up with a heavy headline as this.

look you this shameless osu, I don't have time for your tomfoolery. Believe whatever nonsense your lying village uncles tell you in your village squares, you cup of tea. Cocoa was the number export commodity before oil was discovered, you can go and die for all I care.
Proof to us that your dirty cocoa money was spent anywhere outside your brown roof kingdom.

you crazy. Why are you trying to reverse history when everyone knows how cocoa sustained the nation in the 50s? My grandfather was a cocoa farmer in the 50s and I have first hand info about how cocoa money was shared between the various regions in Nigeria before the black oil was discovered. So stop saying rubbish mister man.

The attache by force is your people who are trying to get the niger/deltans in your biafra struggle by fire by force when is obvious the niger/deltans don't really want to associate with you that much.
Your grand father is a useless liar, I spit on his grave. How could cocoa money have been shared among the various regions in Nigeria when other regions were producing their rubber and palm oil which made Nigeria the highest exporter of those products at that time?
Shame on you and your lying grand father. No one benefitted from your cocoa money.

am not disputing the fact that shell-bp were responsible for discovering the oil, but the fact you hypocrites don't want everybody to know is the involvement of the nigerian government and the role it plays in supporting shell-bp with the cocoa and groundnut money in discovering the oil. What was our two major exports before oil was discovered? Was it not cocoa and groundnut? Your palmoil/rubber didn't even come third because cotton was generating more money than rubber/palmoil. A foreign company can't just come into a country to dig whatever mineral they want without the knowledge and support of the said country. Cocoa money was used to discover the oil you people are crying about. Go and ask any person and you will still get the same answer.

Btw stop listening to the lies your uncles tell you in your village squares
Nigeria was the highest exporter of rubber and palm oil in the world in the 1950's, where did your useless cocoa rank?
Stop this attache by force, no one benefitted from your cocoa money except you.
Beginning 1950s and till mid-1960s, Nigeria remained the largest producer of crude oil palm world over. It had a market share of 43.0%, supplying 645,000 MT of palm oil, on annual basis, across the globe. The civil war which began in 1967 and lasted till 1970 changed all of that.

Nigeria is a federation and not some next door neighbor. And every piece of land belongs to the Nigerian state.

Don't underestimate the collective strength of the Nigerian state, the heat will be too much for you and your militants brothers to bear.

Boko haram are just having a field day because the current government are bleeping incompetent and corrupt
This same fool will start crying when Lagos is referred to as ''no man's Land'', just read his post again.
I have never seen such hypocrites as Yorubas.
PoliticsRe: Ankio Briggs Says War Is Coming.... by eCollynzo: 10:18am On Apr 30, 2015
OneNaira6:
Stop lying. Oil was not discovered using cocoa money and neither did any other state benefit from SW cocoa and North groundnut. In that era, all regions were under resources control and every region developed using what they make. We all know our history, nigeria might have scraped nigerian history from the school list does not mean our parents didnt teach it to us. So abeg

And here is an exempt from NNPC about the discovery of Nigeria oil. Nowhere was SW cocoa mention. Infact it agrees with what was told to us. It was oyinbo ' s that discovered those oils.

Stop telling us lies on this forum. Enough is enough.
I didn't even see your post before replying the lying fool.
PoliticsRe: Ankio Briggs Says War Is Coming.... by eCollynzo: 10:17am On Apr 30, 2015

The Niger/delta also benefited from the cocoa/groundnut money in the 50s.. Oil was discovered in the niger/delta with the cocoa money.. Don't be silly man, nobody is a fool and you can't blackmail nigerians with your crocodile tears.
Why do illiterate and parasitic Yorubas keep churning out this lie? The Niger delta had rubber, palm oil and cocoa all of which were sold in the international market, the east had plam oil and coal. Nigeria practised regionalism before the discovery of oil, no part of Nigeria outside your brown roof region benefitted from your useless cocoa money.
God punish all of you who revise history.

CultureRe: Ex- Military Governor Of Anambra, Pleads With Igbo Parents To Reduce Bride price by eCollynzo: 8:44pm On Apr 29, 2015
High bride price is not the reason for delay in marriage among Igbo youths, anyone can raise money and pay the bride price, the main issue is how to take GOOD care of their wives and children after the marriage. They don't want to litter everywhere with children they can't take care of, so they wait till they attain a semblance of financial stability. I think it is a very good thing!

koboko69:
AIT breached all the ethics in red bolded fonts. Buhari is on course....

From airing in accurate informations and attaxking his late wife and child to 8billion naria collected by Dopkesi.

I hope he also revokes their licence after he has been sworn in as it is a part of his constitutional duties and not a dictatorial one.
Buhari isn't the one to determine if AIT breached any code.
All the ''informations'' aired in that documentary are accurate.
No one attacked his wife or late child, rather they released information on them that affects public interest. Their reasons for releasing information about his family could fall under any of the I - IV subsections under part B of privacy.
AIT did not breach any code.

Very good question.
I felt disgusted when I read an article about Obj attacking South Africa Yesterday. If he had performed well in the total of 12 years he ruled Nigeria, perhaps South Africans will be the ones trooping to Nigeria and not the other way round.
Ditto to all other African leaders.

Unfortunately for you, I am from Okigwe the zone he first went to thank for delivering him from the hands of Ihedioha. It doesn't stop me from saying the fact the way it is. Imo is dirtier, thanks to Rochas. We have not been blessed with good governance like Anambra and Enugu. You can cry if you like, the facts are there for all to see; including the refuse dumps and the block work roundabouts. Ideally I would ignore you but... make your market sell today.
Don't bother yourself with these mediocre beings.
I blame Ohakim and someone like T A Orji in neighboring Abia, if not for them, who will be celeberation someone like Rochas?
