In as much that I know where the four persons hailed from in Nigeria, I still don't support death penalty.
Indonesian government needs to show mercy.
Google Jamiu Owolabi Abashin, he is one of them

All of your likes that talk of the North do NOT know the North, most have never been there but comfortably sit behind a keyboard and talk rubbish like yourself.

Even if Federal character is pushed aside and whatever criteria is deployed in a selection process, the north will have ample representation. The population is superior to all other geographical zones, regardless of poverty and almajiris that wonder about, a decent portion can challenge on an international level talk less of national.

This stereotype of ignorance in the North and intelligence in the South which you promote says alot about how poorly wired you are my friend.

The PRESSID list is unacceptable and it stinks of foul play. Mark me next years list is going to be very very different.
Many of us who 'talk' have served in the north and as you know most of youth corpers who serve there end up teaching in schools, so we are very well placed to talk about the level of education in the north, it is quite frankly nothing to write home about.
As for you phantom superior population, quantity isn't the same as quality. The first class graduates from the north and every other part of the country are brought together to write a test and the best 100 graduates are selected based on their performance in that test. If the north is not well represented, it is because their first class graduates aren't as good as those from the south.

170m Nigerians with a geometrical no. of ethnic groups? We have to share things to the best of our ability for fairness to prevail, there exists a balance of equality and competence for your info. The criteria for pressid is a 1st class degree and its not too hard to find in any part of Nigeria.
There are thousands of first class graduates in the country, they have to go through a series of tests to select the best 100 from the thousands.
Those you saw there are the best 100 of the first class graduates that applied.
Hope you understand now?
Your poor reasoning already shows why northern names are few there.
Did you expect all the first class graduates in the country to be in a list of 100?

Now we can see how they cooked up data about the SE educational.
GEJ deliberately excluded two-thirds of Nigeria from an important educational program, yet same people will be shouting their region are the best when it comes to Education.
If you look at the previous lists, the South West had the highest number of beneficiaries.
So you might want to reconsider this post.

Are you comparing Igbos in Nigeria only or igbos world wide with Hausa world wide , what a comparism ?
The igbos in US alone are they not richer than all the hausas , The igbos have made real wealth in IT, pharmacy, manufacturing without the help of the Federal Government , without government concessions but can the hausa produce a Billionaire who made money without Government help ?
Who are you quarelling with?

This is a very childish thread

Akwa ibom, infrastructurally has grown in reaps and bounds over the last eight years they got their petrodollar windfall. They are now behind only to Lagos, PH and Abuja. Imagine what they can achieve with 100% resource control.

Akwa Ibom's budget allocation alone is more than the revenue of many African countries and even Ghana yet they didn't really do anything with it except the stadium.
Have you stepped foot in Akwa Ibom before?
The governor has done well and I can only imagine how the place would be like if they even 50% of what comes from their land.
Ghana's budget for 2014 was 17 billion dollars. Far far ahead of Akwa Ibom's
PoliticsRe: Resource Control Is Not Feasible by eCollynzo: 3:00pm On Apr 23, 2015

This is the truth. Qatar and the rest have corrupt leaders, but the money is so big and the population is so small, that even after stealing, they still have a lot to bring development to their people.
That is what my ND people don't know. When they talk about resource control, the sophiscated ones confuse them with talk about how their corrupt leaders and militants will keep all the money to themselves. Big lie!
Even with the corruption we have seen what they have been able to do in places like Akwa Ibom and Rivers, more money will easily translate to more development and better standard of living for the people. Corruption or no corruption!
If not for the embargo placed on them, leaders from Quatar, Saudi Arabia etc will be dominating the top 10 of Forbe's richest list year after year, but their people are still living well and they still find enough money to build world class infrastructures.
PoliticsRe: Resource Control Is Not Feasible by eCollynzo: 2:55pm On Apr 23, 2015
edogirl2:
I agree, but the only way for ND to have full control will be to extricate itself for Nigeria.

Is there an appetite for war right now?
This is another case of false dilemma. Extricating from Nigeria is not the only way to get resource control, also extricating from Nigeria does not have to be through a war.
PoliticsRe: Resource Control Is Not Feasible by eCollynzo: 2:49pm On Apr 23, 2015
Niger deltans really have no idea what they are missing.
Look at countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Quatar etc, they have some of the most corrupt leaders in the world, but because of their small population, they still have enough resources left to go round and develop their countries, improve the lives of their people.
But the case of the Niger delta is that they have to share a large chunk their resources with 19 unproductive states where people give births indsicrimately and then the little that comes back to them is shared among corrupt leaders.
With the relatively small population of the core Niger delta areas, no amount of corruption will prevent the ordinary man in those areas from living a good life if they are allowed to control their resources.
PoliticsRe: Resource Control Is Not Feasible by eCollynzo: 2:39pm On Apr 23, 2015

This thread makes no sense to me. They themselves have said that the reason why the Hausa labourers are preferred is because they take whatever pay they are given.

Can these labourers do the same?
They also made it clear that the Hausas do not pay house rents or have families to take care of, so how can they do the same?
Those men who gather at those juctions are mainly old men, they young Igbo labourers do not gather there and they still get jobs.

I laugh when people say there are no non-indigenes in Igbo land.
Another aspect these northerners have taken over is Okada business in the outskirts of Owerri. They are gradually expanding from the usual strongholds (meat, selected foodstuffs, jwellries etc) to other areas of business.

They should go to the farms.
