We love it that way.
Yorubas should stop crying more than the supposed bereaved.
They didn't occupy any of those positions in the last 4 years and no one taunted them because of that.

HMMM!d igbos always shooting themselves in d foot they hav blew dia chance of making dia son DR.CHRIS ngigi a senate president.
Ngige is a benchwarmer and wouldn't have benefitted anyone as senate president. The woman they voted is far more competent than him. Name one bill he sponsored as a senator.
What did Benue people benefit from David Mark?
He was there while they were getting killed by Fulani herdsmen and he did nothing. Ngige would be even worse than him.

Okorocha keeps basking in propaganda while Imo state continues to rot. If Okorocha gets another 4 years, Owerri will be as dirty as Aba. We won't make the mistake Abians made.
See Douglas road which is even cleaner than Mbaise road.

Imo has never been this dirty.

I hope you're right. Its not as if I wish bad for Imo. Okorocha just seems too distracted, unlike other South East Governors ...well, except Orji.
Rochas isn't really much better than Orji, he just uses media propaganda and showmanship to deceive some people.
Go and check Douglas road and see how dirty it is.

Since APGA is dead and buried, APC will give Ihnos the breath of life.

The APGA you call dead and buried is the party that will knock out your Rochas next week. He will be sacrificed for APGA's resurrection. Better get ready to cry since you love Rochas more than Imolites

Sorry...I am a bit annoyed with Suswam.

What he did was poltically unforgivable in any democracy.

He practically handed over a safe PDP state to the opposition...without defection.

But...read my answer to my earlier post. State governors....including Aregbesola are lazy people.
I still don't see how that should make Imolites vote Rochas.
What has he been doing with all the allocations apart from overfeeding himself?

Yes, and based on that performance, they will vote out Rochas just as they voted out Ohakim.

Re Benue. Suswam was ....is an incompetent. Infact all the Benue people I know have nothing good to say about him. And there were rumors of unnecessary expenditures.....but that's another tale.

Infact , Suswam was one gent who PDP should have expelled.Instead they kept him...and he cost them Benue. (A 96% Christian and minority state voting APC....after voting PDP in the four previous elections.).

The long and short is that states too should start earning their money. Stop relying on kudi from Abuja.
With Benue you blame the governor but blame allocation for that of Osun.
What is competent about Aregbesola?
Nobody should blackmail Imolites into voting Rochas with such lies.

bushdoc9919:
He's right you know.

And that is why Fashola of Lagos was busy forcing Lagosians to PAY THEIR TAX. Abuja was cutting the allawee.

Of course...it is wrong to cut opposition state's allawee....and I hope Buhari APC does not do that.

You are entitled to your vote (and personally I am not a fan of Rochas.... as such I would be glad if he gets voted out).....but sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. Especially in the lion's den called Nigerian politics........where sometimes you have to eat a lot of frogs in order to achieve a set goal....and please the lion.
I don't believe in that cutting allocation crap because the few states who couldn't pay salary cut accross APC and PDP. Infact Osun was the only APC state that suffered such, blame it on the governor.
If Imo state can get a governor that is more interested in performing rather than media propaganda and showmanship albeit with less fund, better for the state.
Afterall most of the allocation so far has ended up in Okorocha's belly.

Sooroptimist1:
[s]Please vote him out of power so that when your allocation gets slashed and the opposition government you will install tax you all to death in order to run the state, you wont say you were not told

Most of you are just so full of hate that you wont mind to cut your nose to spite your face

If you dont know that there is an inherent advantage aligning with a friendly ruling government at the centre

GEJ tactically reduce the allocation to most opposition states citing crude oil theft and reduced oil price while giving leverage to PDP states through the ecological funds to shore up their dwindled allocation in order to make workers and citizens in the opposition states to cry and blame their Governors for owing them many months salary

While Osun workers wailed and whined about Aregbesola owing few months salary, did you hear Ekiti workers make so much noise? That is the advantage of being with the ruling party... a style started by OBJ which Jonathan has also perfected....which is to stifle opposition states of their funds in order to turn opinion poll against them while feeding well its own controlled states

So Imolites should vote out Rochas so that when the new Governor start feeling the cash crunch and seeks to transfer the pain on you the masses, you will perfectly understand the import of your sill.y decisions

instead of you to be happy that Imo will enjoy more attention and patronage from the APC FG,you want to cut your head due to Okorocha;s headache

Kontinu[/s]
Nonsense, what about Benue? Wasn't Benue a PDP state? What about all other APC states in Nigeria? How many of them owed salaries? Why didn't Jonathan do the same thing to Rochas?
I have noticed that the only thing you guys use to sell Rochas is nothing but blackmail!
Tell Imo people why they should re-elect him based on performance and not this nonsense.

PapaBrowne:
This is shameless now!

More like parasitic.

The price of cocoa is up, 3000 usd/ton. why not invest heavily in cocoa rather than await oil funds from the Niger Delta.

With this kind of thinking from Osun, the militants would be justified to stop oil flow.
This is why I said it is too early for such calls.
PoliticsRe: Buhari’s Victory’ll Boost Allocation To Osun by eCollynzo: 2:06pm On Apr 02, 2015
What kind of foolish people do we have in Osun government?
So Buhari will just alter the revenue allocation formula and increase the allocation to Osun just like that? Or is there something else they aren't telling us?
It is too early for this o.
Later some people will say Oil money is worthless.

PoliticsRe: Open Letter To Igbos by eCollynzo: 11:03am On Apr 02, 2015
Ngige won the senatorial seat under ACN which was a core South west party then, so it has nothing to do with party but performance.
PoliticsRe: Open Letter To Igbos by eCollynzo: 10:59am On Apr 02, 2015
Ngige was a useless benchwarmer in the senate. Apart from building imaginary VIP toilets, what else did he achieve? He sponsored no bill, did absolutely nothing.
Ekwunife even as a woman did far better than him as a house member and deserved her election into the senate. What shall it profit Igbos to have a David Mark type of Senate President who sat there like a sculpture while his people were being wiped out by Fulani herdsmen?
Remember how you guys were crying more than the bereaved, when they voted Obiano ahead of Ngige? Now Obiano is performing far better than Ngige would have ever done, so mind your business.

Buhari giving us 24 hours electricity, good roads, eliminating corruption, improving security, reducing unemployment to single digit figures and strenghtening the economy in general is what will vindicate you.

gists:
This is the ret@rded line of thinking that made GEJ to lose this election.
No region can single handedly bring its kinsman to power. This is the fatal error that GEJ and SE didn't realise. Statement like it is the votes of Igbo that brought me to power set the tone for his divisive tribal rule and consequent downfall.
To emerge as president, you need the vote from North and South.
Somebody talked about rigging in the north as if the 1.4m, 1.2m and 950k votes from rivers, delta and akwa ibom states were natural. Those figure translated to over 70% in rivers and 60% in delta and akwa ibom voter turnout while turnout in the north and other regions recorded about 50% turnout.

This election was rigged by both the north and south. Sadly for GEJ he pitched his tent with the zone with lowest number of eligible voters. So, no matter how much you pump the figures, the north only needs to just do the same thing (even by a smaller and reasonable/believeable margin) to beat the combined team work of SS/SE.
The 'low turnout' in the north was as a result of those who collected PVCs for others not being able to use them and the Southerners based in the north who travelled or refused to come out to vote.
PoliticsRe: Can The SW Ascend The Presidency Without The SS/SE by eCollynzo: 9:12pm On Apr 01, 2015
Chukwudi44 this is a very useless thread, extremely useless. What happens to an Igbo man contesting under APGA or PDP in 2019 and getting our support?
We have been supporting other candiates from other tribes since 1999 yet they call us tribalists. In 2019, we should queue up behind a credible Igbo man.
PoliticsRe: Asari Dokubo Issues A New Threat by eCollynzo: 8:57pm On Apr 01, 2015
