emeraldlife: I have used BB TOUCH1,2 and 3 and none have come close to BB Bold 5. My only problem is BAT3. Camera in touch 3 is better. Pls use the phones u are comparing before suggesting for others.
Pls touch3 no be quadcore oo. Na single core.

Oh sorry, its single core. I haved used torch 2,3 and bold 5(unbranded). U just mentioned some(2) of bold5's problem/feature that made torch3 beta than it...but u didn't mention just one torch3's problem

So I don't think bold 5 is beta..for the fact that u couldn't give me any advantage(but its problem) to prove it in ur writing instanta(lol).

I think u are worried, how to get used to the touch-screen? Its just a lil time, u wud get used to it.

Just consider what u wud enjoy in torch 3: larger screen, smooth and very sharp camera, and the torch is not common...

Its the worst ever fone blackberry ever produced, it only enjoyed honor "the first BB with qwatri keypad and touchscreen, and its bigger in hand in those days when e just enter market..."

When desire a BB, and u want it to last long; buy 'unbranded New blackbery' that alway show 'blackberry original when starting up' the unbranded is the real bb made by RIM, that's why its costly than others one that has carrier of nrtworks such as vodafone, etis, sprint...

Its very obvious that the spec of torch3 is greater than curve 7 except its keypad, batry, which has some little % over the torch3 and radio but radio is never an important value in bb.
The 3.7 screen and 5.0mpx of camare, with 768 of RAM...infact this curve 7 na pikin e be to Torch3.



To me, I prefer blackberry Torch3(9860)..

My review, about the two fones, look at the specs above u will see that torch has higher spec than the curve especially the RAM and CPU(they are what a fone guru first check in a one).
In the world of bb, radio and NFC are not important, frankly speaking. The camera are both 5mpx but torch3 is beta.
If u hold curve 5, its easy for people to know the kind of fone in ur hand, but torch3 is so unique comparing to other torchs.

To me, I prefer blackberry Torch3(9860)..

Yes, all the torch3 have 3g and 4g together, u cannot select either 2g or 3g or 4g...just only 3&4g. Though the option is there to select 2g but will never go to 2g after the setting.

Meanwhile, Whenever u enter a location(area) weh 3g no deh and 2g deh, automatically the fone will switch to 2g.
But there's no 4g gsm netwk in naija at the moment, except etisalat with 3.75g.

Disadvantages...
* it hangs once a while bcuz of 786ram but. which bb OS7 and below do not hang?
* can't select 2g, standby on 3&4G
*cant set or remove screen rotation

Its advantages..
*what a wonderful 5px, its camera far better bold 5, Q5, iphone4 etc
*large screen display
*it doesn't get broken easily despite its a touch...
*The baterry is a okay despite 3g and 4g unchangeable
*its unique, not common like pure water touch 2 and bold 5

One of the worst fashion have seen in the world today, is seeing a man bleaching or toning. You don't even pity yourself, under this hotter-than-fire kind of Sun we have in africa? ceo4eva: Contrary to official claims that President Goodluck Jonathan travelled to Germany on a private visit, LEADERSHIP authoritatively gathered yesterday that the president actually took ill and left for Germany to seek medical care.

Efforts to get a confirmation from the Presidency failed up until the time of going to press, as several calls to his spokesman, Dr Reuben Abati, did not go through and he didn’t respond to an email enquiry either.

Similarly, the senior special assistant to the president on public affairs, Dr Doyin Okupe, did not pick or return several calls to his mobile number last night.

President Jonathan left for Germany yesterday after performing the closing ceremony of the National Conference on Thursday.

Prior to his departure, presidential spokesman Abati had issued a terse statement saying the president would be making a private visit to Germany as from Friday (yesterday)and would be accompanied by some of his principal aides.

It was gathered that the president, on arrival in Germany, headed for a private hospital for medical check-up.

It could not however be confirmed if he went to the same hospital he had visited with his wife last year when the first lady faced some health challenges.

Before his sudden departure for Germany on Thursday, President Jonathan was billed to host members of the just-concluded National Conference to a dinner at the Presidential Villa, but the programme was cancelled at the dying minute.

Although no official reason was given for the cancellation, it was gathered that the development was connected with the president’s state of health which required urgent attention.

An authoritative source in the Presidency told LEADERSHIP that despite assurances that the president would return soon from his trip, it was not likely as his health situation was not too good. He said there was uneasy calm and anxiety in the Presidential Villa yesterday over the state of health of the president.

Meanwhile, the situation has also elicited concern from prominent Ijaw (President Jonathan’s ethnic group) political leaders, some of whom converged on the home of a prominent elder statesman from the ethnic group in Abuja to deliberate on the matter. A source privy to the meeting hinted that the Ijaw sons were considering sending a delegation to visit the president.

The source said before the meeting ended, it was agreed that clearance would be obtained from the Presidential Villa on whether the president is in a state to receive visitors before it would be decided on who would visit him.

Some people had speculated about Mr Jonathan’s health just before his trip to Washington, DC, United States, where he attended the 2014 US-Africa Summit early this month.
