Just go with the printout you got when you did your biometrics and your passport data page photocopy. I believe they were both stapled when you had your biometrics. What date was your biometrics? Jumade1: 2 Likes |

Mine was actually on the 14th. TLS Ikeja. Although I got a response on paid mail yesterday that decision has been made. No choice but to keep waiting. It will end in praise for us all. kennykale: 1 Like 1 Share |

Had biometrics on the 14th of Dec at Ikeja TLS. Got a response on paid mail yesterday that they haven't made a decision yet on my application. It's going to be 15 working days by tomorrow. Still hopeful, but the wait is unsettling sha. |

The visa stamp is the evidence that you've entered the country. That's what you'll show when you arrive UK to prove that you spent 10 days in Cotonou Affam: 8 Likes |

Please for those that got their visas recently, what documents did you upload? Just want to know if it's necessary to upload my CV or just use only the Employer Reference letter. 1 Like |

Hello Gurus in the House. Please I am trying to apply for a 2 years visa and I need some pointers. I have visited before in 2019 with a 6 months visa sponsored by my work company and I spent 1 week. I later visited again with the visa during Christmas in 2019 and spent 1 month with my uncle over there. Went for his PhD graduation and spent the holidays there. Now I am trying to apply and self sponsor. My Uncle is no longer there as he's done with his program and back to Nigeria. My question is if self sponsoring will decrease my chances of getting the 2 years visa or if it would be better to find someone there that will send me an invitation? |

Hi everyone. I have a valid Uk multiple entry visit visa which I used for one week in October and the visa expires in April next year. I want to visit again this December to attend a family member's PhD graduation ceremony and also spend Christmas and new year holiday there. I'll be going with an invitation letter from the graduand and he will also be accommodating me. The total visiting duration would be about 3 weeks + (trying to get a decent fare rate in this rush period). My worry is if there's any policy on returning visits or if there's a limit to the duration of visit, especially for a second visit. |

Foreign Affairs / Mugabe Finally Agrees To Step Down As Military Holds Him Hostage by ecton(m): 3:41pm On Nov 15, 2017 |
The Zimbabwean military has taken over the country's capital, Harare, in what it has described as a "bloodless correction". Report has it that no less than three explosions were heard in the city by morning of Wednesday, November 15. Fresh report from Zimbabwe has it that President Robert Mugabe may have succeeded in negotiating with the country’s military for his wife to leave for neighbouring South Africa in return for his giving up power, possibly on Friday, November 16. The Bulawayo24 quotes a security source as telling the African News Agency that Mugabe, 93, will announce his departure from power at a press conference. Sky News is however reporting that Grace Mugabe fled to Namibia. "Mugabe has negotiated for Grace to leave the country while he prepares to step down. Press conference tomorrow afternoon. Soldiers indeed have the president and his presidential guard under siege. Zimbabweans are urged to stay away from the CBD tomorrow," the source said. Recall that Mugabe fired his deputy, Emmerson Mnangagwa, in a move that was widely seen as a plot meant to clear the path for his wife, Grace, as his likely successor. The country's deposed vice-president has however returned from exile. https://toppostng.com/2017/11/15/mugabe-finally-agrees-to-step-down-as-military-holds-him-hostage-and-seize-the-entire-country/

Crime / Man Narrates How He Was Robbed After He Entered 1 Chance Bus With Female Robbers by ecton(m): 12:11pm On Oct 23, 2017 |
A Facebook user by name Courage Ngele has come out to narrate how he was unfortunate and fell victim to the Popular Lagos commercial bus robbery A.K.A “One Chance”. According to him, he boarded a bus at second rainbow with three female and two male passengers already onboard in a bid to meet up with his friends, little did he know that he had stepped into the lion’s den. While the bus was in motion he was robbed at gun point in broad day light and was disposed of his possessions. Below is what he wrote on his Facebook timeline; “Dear friends, y'all need to be careful out there in this period of the year, especially those in Lagos city. Today, at about 15:00hrs, I was at 2nd rainbow and needed to go meet up with a friend at Sanya Bus-stop, from where we'd head to Ikotun. It started to rain, so I got into a bus. Inside the bus were 2 women, a young girl, and 2 young guys. Long story short, it happened that I was the only stranger in their midst.I got robbed at gun point between coker junction and Sanya B/stop along Oshodi/Apapa express way. It was raining. Those lazy retarded f**tards pointed a gun to my head. They took my phone, my wrist watch, $200 and the 7k in my wallet, before pushing me out of the vehicle. I'm alright really. I'm not hurt, just angry.” https://toppostng.com/2017/10/22/man-narrates-how-he-was-robbed-this-afternoon-after-he-entered-one-chance-bus-in-lagos-with-female-robbers/

Politics / See The Food Nigerian Government Is Giving To School Children [watch Video] by ecton(m): 11:13am On Oct 22, 2017 |
A video currently trending online has shown a woman cutting a N50naira loaf of bread into four places to feed four school children with stew. The person who recorded the video said: "Nigerians, this is what the government is giving the children and they are shouting out loud that they are giving pupils food. See a N50naira bread that is being cut into four pieces for four pupils, one each. "And the funniest thing is, this bread you are looking at, the food seller will go to the school board to collect the bread while she prepares the stew. And she will bring the bread and cut into four for each pupil. Now that is the bread, let's look at the stew that they are putting unto it. "They cannot even prepare egg or to talk of fish stew. See what they are preparing, madam, open it let's see. “That is the soup that they prepared. Can you see? So, madam, put example of what you are going to give a child. Let me see the way you are going to serve it. Okay, can you see? Is this enough to feed a child for a day? And the government will be shouting that they are giving pupils food. Nigerians, it is time to raise this out. “Let's join hands together to make this country great. This should not be, this is a poison to our children. It is better for them not to give than to be serving the children this kind of food. Nigeria, let's shout it out, thank you all."
