We have seen attires belonging to various group being used to perpetrate evil in Nigeria and beyond but there was no call for the ban of those. An example of this is the army uniform being used by armed robbers. The Boko haram male faction do use it too but no call for its ban. I am not advocating for such because it's not of significance.

The military uniform is strictly for members of the armed forces. It is illegal for any unauthorised person to wear.
As you opinined above (albeit unwittingly), any criminal caught with military attire is severely dealth with.

The Islamic hijab, burqa and other hypocritical attires worn by moslem filths, do more devastating harm to the society through acts of terror than the unauthorized wearing of military attires. It thus deserves an outright ban due to the myriad of evils and crimes it is worn to conceal.
