I won't be surprised when, after all these needless brouhaha, Saraki still remains the SP. Afterall, Nigeria is a country where citizens wait for nature and karma to decide the fate of political actors instead of insisting on the enforcement of existing laws and procedural rules. God save our country! |
A thief is invited by a court to answer to the charges brought against him; instead of appearing in same court to clear his name and maintain his integrity, he goes straight to another court to stop his trial. Nigeria is a country where anything goes. The whole insult and absurdities was even compounded by the events that brought the said criminal to the Senate presidency, and how nothing had been done about such daylight robbery and blatant disregard for due process all these while. |
ArodewilliamsT:Away with you and your satanic pdp. You're all agents of destruction, deception, backwardness and retrogression. |
modath:I hate the concept called political correctness, but, make no mistake about it, what i have for my muslim friends is far from hate. #OneLove God bless APC & Nigeria. |
Austin4lif:This is my point exactly! What stops the governor from arresting the warring parties if he feels that they're breaching the peace of the state or community? Is the feuding pastors now bigger than the entire church, the body of Christ? |
Elrufai is an islamist. It will be very silly for any Christian to support this act of persecution. Northern Christians need a much stronger unity, love and more emphasis on evangelism, without which, hardline islamists like Elrufai, et al will always have reasons and excuses to bring down churches and scuttle their spread. |
Why not arrest him immediately, what's causing the delay? |
Corruption will be fought, and the anticorruption drive will be used to silence many powerful people that would'av been a threat to this administration. Thats very sure under this Buhari presidency. Lets hope the economy improves. That is what matters for now. our economy needs investors and graduates need job. |
BishopMagic:Get off my mentions, you schlep! I have no time for wanton quibbles with nausseating schmucks like you. I am a hardline christian with unequivocal anti-islamic stance. |
We are progressives. we value all our own and we wish we don't lose any. But since you've decided to quit NL, i hope it avails you the opportunity to chart a better course for yourself, family, nation, and for humanity. Soe will be missed and Nigeria will keep waxing stronger. |
None! Both of them are clannish, unrefined, insecure and self-centered. |
Who is less likely to criticise the Hausa/fulani bigotry, savagery, religious intollerance, arrogance and greed in today's Nigeria? Your guess is as good as mine. |
Congratulations to Mobolaji. Loyalists need to be well engaged, especially where there is no doubt about their qualification and competence. |
The Rivers election was a monumental fraud. No doubt. |
This is not North Korea! Tell that to the ambassador. |
Kidnapping is one national security problem that is grossly underrated. |
voodooman:They will tell you that they have the best technology and largest market in the world, and that rivers, delta, akwa-ibom and even Edo states have 90% ibo population. They're just hollow, chest-beating jesters who don't want to be taken seriously. |
OZAOEKPE:Really? ![]() Ask your tonyebarcanista if he is familiar with the following post, and how soon did it hit him before he was forced to flee Nairaland. Look at this puss*y CCing his fellow losers to come and defend him. Are you afraid? You are such a clown yet you cannot see it. I think most people here, the genuinely intelligent posters and not the impressionable and drunken groupie kids who have taken over the forum these days, see through you and know you for the unprincipled cad that you are. Once again you have confirmed it talking of 'age' . Have I ever met you? Has my age ever been officially confirmed here? Anyway, I will always laugh at jumped-up, hungry and unprincipled mercenaries like you who will say anything online to sway opinion and improve your personal standing or image. You are too lowly and unprincipled to engage me. You know what you asked from me. Stop lying and man up !!! Be honest for once in your turncoat, lying unprincipled, mercenary and 'egunje-seeking' life !!! how many Nairalanders did you PM and why? Like a thousand? You are just yuck !!!! When not harassing NL ladies for date you are PMing all the guys for one 'favour' or the other. Have you no shame? |
voodooman:Be blessed, my brother. May God increase your wisdom! |
CyberWolf:The problem is, many of you schleps mistake his inconsistency and lack of principles for acts of prodigal(ism). My question to you wailing schmucks is, how many times did the prodigal son betray his father for him to wake up to reality, build & safeguard the inheritance for the trustworthy and loyal son and move on with his life? Once bitten, twice shy, you know. I have never taken the poster seriously even since he opted to become a pro-apc poster on Nairaland. And for someone who is not here to acquaint with anyone on a faceless forum, I saw his lack of depth, lack of credibility and unreliability early enough. As for barcanista, this is the kindof post you won't get to see on your Facebook wall. Isn't Nairaland a heaven? ![]() |
Wow! |
Emasel:I understand how u feel. But you need to move on with your precious life and be in control of your happiness. |
MizMyColi:I did condemn the reported act of executive rascality in strong terms. Let me ask you. This was my point exactly! Creating a disconnect between the fall-out of a routine executive function of a governor (Oshiomole), and the reckless Al Makura. As for you Mr Edcure, you just had to include PDP right? And you equally had to call it a campaign of calumny because it so vividly paints the picture of the whole saga as opposed to the sugar coated writs you're used to which you all call "balanced and objective".Please note that my reference to the PDP tendencies is not alien. The pdpian roots of the governor was treated in the body of the report...and, if you ask me, I'll say it was worth mentioning. Concerning my views about the the report, you will agree with me that the author appeared too unprofessional. The write-up is replete with sentiments and theatrics, ovbiously to malign the governor who never claimed to be a saint. I wouldn't have opined differently if it were a PDP gov. My point is, the objectivness of the story is subject to debate. Well, I know myself and I know the things I stand for.I don't hve a flair for vain repetition, but I must state it again that I condemn the reported act as much s you do. But I chose to view the whole thing from a different perspective to enrich the debate. Washing one's hands off the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral.Forgive my late reply. The fone I used earlier had very limited capacity to make lengthy posts. ![]() |
Beremx:What you saw there was a perfect example of the extent to which a desperate opposition party, the PDP (which itself is full of reprobates) can manipulate the media to influence negative public opinion. The governor just showed some remorse, make concessions and moved on. |
Beremx:Administrative duties requires minimal cruelty and ruthless efficiency which can NEVER be equated with foolishness. That's my point. ![]() |
Beremx:Really? So the most effective strategy of exposing the folly of those entrusted to ensure public order and safety is by blatantly breaking the laws which are made to ensure their own safety, and the smoot running of the society (as in the case of Osho & the so-called widow)? Wow! |
MeMyselfandI1:Exactly! Though i condemn the reported act, it reeks of sensational journalism. Refer to my 1st post above. |
Beremx:Your reference to "woman", "widow" & "innocent citizens" prompted me to talk about the so-called less priviledged - a term they ascribe to themselves to curry public sympathy. |
Beremx:I wouldn't call them foolish. Some "less priviledged" citizens mindlessly break the law and appeal to public sentiment when they are made to face the consequences of their crimes. These governors are humans. They sometimes lose their cool in their bid to ensure the greatest happiness of the greatest number. |

??, don't allow little things lord it over your you my bros, when Jesus said "love your neighbour as yourself" , he didn't put any caveat....
..You didn't have to leave in the first place, but as you've left, if I were you, I won't come back again. It's difficult for people to take you serious with this kind of unstable attitude. Anyway, welcome back!!! ...That's if you won't leave again

, I left my house to watch football, to ease off the pain, instead my favourite team added sore to injury by loosing in a disappointing manner.
