In the West, former Presidents and Secretary of States wrap up their tenure and head back to the lecture room or a consulting firm. It’s called humility— not the forte of the black man, but it’s a nice character-set.
Meanwhile, Beau Harry contested 4 times in various parties and arrangements for the Presidency. That is the real desperation.
Stop amplifying your repulsive ignorance here. Just stick to the self hate.

Your denial and willful ignorance poses no threat to prevailing realities. It is rather a harbinger to greater political misfortunes, irrelevance and widening marginalisation.

Ever heard the saying 'igbo enweghi eze'. This translates to "igbo has no king/leader'
Trust me they do have leaders. Their leaders just ain't smart and resilient. They lack foresight and live for the moment.
One can say they have no ideals, or they're not too eager to sacrifice anything for the realization of long-term ideals that may benefit their people.

They fear drama and political gamble, and always strive to be in the good books of whoever is in power. They are what you call Fairweather politicians/leaders.

My dear, are you really Igbo? If you are an Igbo man or woman you should understand the beauty of Igbo tribe and I think you shouldn't have used the word "unfortunately". It is for your good that no single individual can be "nnam oha" rather every Igbo is a king on his own. No one can Lord over you and no one can brag of owning you or your region.
That was the exert reason why the colonial movement experienced the most difficult time in Igbo land. Unlike in the other regions, all the needed to do was capture the traditional authority and own the whole place, they came to Igbo land and found out that to capture the land you have to capture everyone. I think you should be proud of your Igboness.
Brov, your write-up is non contextual. This is not one of those feel-good lessons in your history classes.

The OP's valid observation and concerns require a rational response that is not laden with sentimental bragging.

Truly, Dogara's expected defection will have little or no consequence than an aggravation of the current intrigues and frenzy at the National Assembly.

Their influence ends in the National Assembly. They know that. This is why they're fighting tooth and nail to prevent the removal of Saraki as SP.

Most of these "fence sitters" and defectors have been de-facto members of PDP. They have always colluded with the opposition to truncate APC interests.

The APC is well aware of this and, I'm sure the new party leadership could not condone their consistent treachery any longer.
Dogara should join his like-minds in the PDP. He won't be missed. However, he should make sure that the door does not hit him on the way out.

That's betrayal. Its treason.
Conspiring with an (enemy) is treason. I can't tolerate that. It's worst than Judas Iscariot deed. That guy can sell off Nigeria's secret informations for his ambition.
Sensitive national codes can't be trusted with Saraki else Benin and Togo will overrun Nigeria. Same with Boko Haram.
I might not like Buhari, but I detest Saraki the more.
Buhari is even gentle with him. He would dare not try that with me as the President. If it will involve me shutting down national assembly for 4 years, I'm gonna do that.
I'd rather die than have him preside over the National Assembly if I were to be the President. He over dared the President.
He crossed the 'Red Line'.
Now here is somebody that thinks rationally and independently.

I because a fierce critic of Buhari the very next day after Saraki colluded with the opposition to steal the Senate, while the complacent President looked on.

It goes a long way to show that Buhari has other priorities and is pursuing different agenda from the ideals that we voted him for. He could not even be bothered about party and national interest.

He hasn't proven his critics wrong so far.

Ortom should be the last governor to complain about criticism on his dismal performance in benue state.

He should look into the issues raised and make amends before the next election instead of threatening his political opponents.
Is this not the same docile guy that Wike lambasted sometime last year?

Indeed, as Oshiomole rightly said, Ortom is making political capital on the graves of Benue people.

Some of us are beyond the fake story the APC is dishing out.
The same Buhari publicly complained about insubordination and disobedience of orders from his own IG of police.

Politics / Re: Godfathers At War With Godsons (Photos) by Edcure1: 8:08am On Aug 11, 2018
I understand that the influence of godfathers is overbearing sometimes but why would people feel so comfortable with biting the hand that feeds them?

These successors would be unknown elements were it not for the benevolence of their godfathers who provide the rare opportunity and platform for them to serve, express themselves, and ultimately, prosper. That is enough reason to be eternally grateful and loyal.

The godfathers went through a lot to make them what they are now. It is more interesting to see some of these ingrates fighting their benefactors after less than a year in their new positions. Which is somewhat unkind.

We will always have areas of disagreement and dispute. But as people who know where we are coming from, we must be wise enough to explore common grounds for agreement and forge ahead.

The crisis in APC has been brewing since 2015. It was meant to happen as a result of the weakness and political naivety of Buhari, coupled with poor handling and treachery of Oyegun.
The damage was already done before Oshiomole came in.

I didn't expect you to know that. You have acutely short memory and you're too lazy to think for yourself.
