considering that this will be your first international trip, you may have a tougher interview than most folks.good luck and hopefully they grant u a visa.
for other questions such as what to do,what they ask, and other shiit like that, dont expect much from NL; go to their website or, find out yourself when you go to their embassy.

Hi Tamita

asylum is granted on 6 most reliable grounds
-religion
-sexual orientation
-political affiliation
-war
and 2 more that i just cant remember right this second

but this is the catch: they will ask you how you got the schengen visa if your life was in danger? also how were u able to get a passport ? did u have freedom to move about and apply for these documents or did someone else help u?
they will demand genuine proofs of your claims.

if you ask me;i will just tell you to bite the bullet and marry a woman from the schengen country and do your thing quickly and impregnant her.
at least thats how many of my cameroonian friends do it here in the usa and canada.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
are there any recorded instances of these people being brought to africa?

i have my suspicions. tpia

Hello Tpia: As one of the posters mentioned they probably migranted out of Africa thousands of years ago, if they were brought as slaves, would they not be speaking the languages of their conquerers? However most of the 5,000 languages in the world is spoken on the island New Guinea, which is located in Melanesia. When i was on holiday in Fiji, many Fijans told me they believe that their ancestors migranted out of Africa from a place called Tanganyika, which they believe were their ancestorial home, Needless to say, there need to be more research about the origins of the people in Melanesia from Melanesian scholars and African scholars alike. One thing is for certain, when i visited the historial museum in Suva, which is the capital of Fiji, in the Museum, I have seen a huge Ship which from my perspective reminds me of noah ark, in otherwords these people were great ship builders, and maybe some groups left Africa by ship, however I think that is very unlikely, but the thought is interesting, indeed.
hello ababda
i just want to know the difference between melanesia and polynesia
because i see a big difference between the people of fiji, solomon and surrounding islands from people of samoa, tonga, native haiwaian, vanuatu, kiribati

are they pretty much the same people ?

dear bettyblue

i dont thing this lady is a marriage material.
marrying a liar is like marrying the undertaker. she's got her cozy and warm grave already prepared for u.

just take a hike from the relationship. do your search very well;find a trustworthy virgin and settle down with her.
take a trip to one of these born again churches and shop there.

Romance › Re: Do Long Distance Relationships Really Work? by eddy1977(m): 1:54am On Mar 15, 2010
there is long distance and long distance

if u r in a long distance and are unable to meet physically on a regular basis because of immigration (visas and passport shiiiit),then that is very bad, it is like a fish dating a bird, where will the wedding take place?

but if you are either in the same country or are settled as far as immigration is concerned, you can travell without all the bullshiiits of clearances, then its ok.

my golden rule for long distance relationship is this: the longer the distance;the shorter the dating time should be.

if your significant other is in a different continent, dont go a full year without finalizing the marriage and moving in together.

hi bettyblue

i feel you man;lies are red flags for any stable relationships. the only thing i can think of is that may be the way your relationship started was not very promising or serious,so she had no reason to tell you that you are 3 years younger.but now that you have shown her your love, she has done the right thing to tell u the truth and give the opportunity to either pursue or back off.

the other lie she may have told you is obvious: how many men she has been with before you.dont even ask her that because she will tell you a lie;just forget it and see her for who she is now.
if she has a child out there, ask her to produce it before u find out.

by the way,i dont understand the BETTY in your username bettybleu;sounds bi-sexual.not judging you but just scratching my head. r u in the closet??
Travel › Re: Travelling To Cape Verde by eddy1977(m): 1:23am On Mar 15, 2010
they speak portuguese
they have some of the hottest women you have ever seen

they are a touristic country;which means not enough jobs for a foreigner

by the way;why didnt your friend come here to ask? why does he have to use you? are you sure its not you who is contemplating the cape verde trip?

now
do u have a passport?
do you know anybody there?
what are your trades?
how will u survive there before you can establish a job?

if u have a few dollars in your pocket and plan to travel to cape verde, dont u think it is wise to use the little money you have to start a small business in naija;grow your income, you can always travel to cape verde to visit later on

just asking u the hard questions to broaden your horizon before you leave nigeria
Travel › Re: I Need Help On This Visa Of A Thing: by eddy1977(m): 1:15am On Mar 15, 2010
you dont need to renew it.you need to re-apply for a new one

was it a single;double or multiple entry?

expect them to ask you hard questions because you didnt use the first one.

anyway,its only south africa;dont trouble yourself,if they deny you a visa;that's ok
choose another vacation destination

the guy who asked you to either call him or email him is just a gold digger getting ready to snatch money from your pocket;if you choose to be fooled by him,you will have your own a$$ to blame.

good luck
