TruthisGOD: U brougt d curses upon urself, u shld be reasonable.. Dat guy asked you a gud question- ve u gone to IPOB meeting b4? If not, dont jst start writing what u don't knw. Biafra is not abt oil! Bt creativity which would be harnessed from her ppl. Do you know dat a lot of creative ppl are laying waste in Nigeria because of tribalism. Biafra is abt equal opportunity not som quota system rubbish. Biafra is abt being able to feel free and safe where ever you're in biafraland without being afraid of som regious jihadist spilling ur blood. Do u know dat PRESSID was suspended cos it does not favor the northerns? Do you know that the northerns and their counterpart were against Jonathan policy to make innoson factory a modern one? Do you knw what Aba wld ve been if FG had invested money to explore the technical ingenuity of this ppl? Of course the will not cos is from a certain tribe. A lot of bigotry and tribalism is making Nigeria to be unproductive and comatosed. Go and read ur history very well and the statements made by her founding fathers you will know y nigeria has never functioned well right from the almagamation. There is no natonal consciousness! Nobody believes in Nigeria! The emergency of a country with the full support and consent of her people will bring the much needed national consciousness. They will not like to jeopardize what the fought hard to get, everybody will be willing to work for the betterment of a new nation. United state are great because of this, the fought hard to wrenched themselve from britain and r preserving it with a strong feeling of love for their country. Talking abt natural resources, you're the resources. Biafra can exploit and harness your creative and make you the thomas Edison of our time without being bias. China, japan and usa are great because of the creative expliotation of their citizen not because of som natural resources. Talking abt SS inclusion, referendum will answer that. You can only be recognise by the collective resolve of the people through peaceful agitation. Finaly Biafra is all abt total emancipation. I believe in Biafra more than Nigeria He brought curses upon himself not me. I don't need to know him to know am better off than him cos God made it so. Nobody is against ur dreams for a biafra, but what confidence level do you have on the successes above, have igbos not killed igbos? In the past twenty years have all igbo people been killed my Muslims and terrorists, have u forgotten the umuleri aguleri crisis, the izza crisis etc you feelings are yours and if achievable am sure you will be happy but wise people never count their chickens before the eggs are hatched. The current agitation is similar to passengers on a boat who comprise of ship builders, they just want to sail and any mention by people to check the state of their boat is met by statements like we are ship builders if this boat fails we will build another. They have forgotten that once they set sail there is no coming back, no much room for error and their survival rate reduces drastically once challenges start to come. No matter how talented they are without patience and proper planning all is naught. There is no concrete plan in the Biafran agenda, If the was am sure instead of throwing insults around and showing crassness the Biafrans will argue with facts and detailed plans and strategy that will be sufficient to win over unbelievers like me. Cheers |

Xetima: Senseless assertions. Have you heard of the rise of Dubai? A city that rose from the desert, only give us Biafra and watch cities rise from the mangroves and rain forests. It is doable. dubai was planned from Saudi Arabia, the Crown Prince planned, strategised and map out dubai while sitting in Saudi, and then implemented it gently with concrete plans, do you see the difference between biafra and dubai? If u ever have run a business, you will know, u can't run overheads on a lean profit because at every beginning the gains are lean. Can't we build and plan biafra today from Nigeria, and move there the moment it's on track. No matter how equally senseless you are too, am sure u have seen sense in my philosophy |

Finally the arewa will gladly allow the biafrauds go. In fact the arewa will exist earliest and unlike the Biafrans they have a developed arewa plus a capital, while oduduwa has lagos. The Biafrans can manage ekwulobia or umunze. I wish for a Nigeria where nonsense subdivisions as mentioned above by me won't exist. There will be equity, justice, freedom of rights and gender equality. Happy weekend |

nd07: Well said brother but one thing is there. ibos r not political, we r mainly entrepreneurs. Nigerian government dominated by d north should have averted this ugly incident by understanding that we ibos r not demanding so much. give ibos conducive environment 4 their commerce just like u mentioned dredging of d Niger river & other associated amenities then Nigeria moves on. but d failure of d federal government led by d north 2 deny d ibos of their need in their own nation & with d oil money which they too r part of d producing communities shows apparently how we r hated. for some people condemning d on going activities of ipob should ask themselves some questions like " a father that fails in d duty of treating his grown up kids equally should expect what? we need to start winning in Nigerian politics and achieve those things that will better ourselves, if we have good people in power at federal level who have been reoriented in the igbo agenda. These are the people to dredge the river Niger, to open the portharcourt seaport, to create an enabling business environment. That we must achieve first in Nigeria. After achieving that and we still not contented, then seccede |

pazienza: Pazienza on the contrary is far from being an intellectual, he is just a regular Biafran youth on the streets of Enugu, hustling to make a living, just like other millions of Biafran youths.
Biafra is a movement of the commoners, and not really the intellectuals, perhaps with time, ou intellectuals Will join the train.
Furthermore, the Biafran current movement is not perfect, there are so much rooms for improvement, the road to freedom is a long tortuous one, and I believe we would get it right at the end. The most important thing to me is that the movement is on and the passion and desire is there.
Any Igbo man that feels that the movement as it is currently configured is inefficient should join the group and bring his wonderful ideas on the table, lets hear them out, or better still build a better movement from scratch that will mirror him and his ideas, Biafra need as many hands as it can get, Nnamdi built IPOB from the scratch using his limited resources and using his persuasive power to get other Biafrans to believe in and sponsor his movement.
But please, don't sit at the comfort of your home and castigate the efforts of your people who put themselves on the line of fire. Do something for Biafra today, you don't like the way the movement is currently being handled? Then make enquiries, attend a local IPOB meetings nearest to you, know the workings of the group better and be the bringer of the change you desire.
Stop complaining about problems, be a part of the solution.
God bless Biafra. the fact I am trying to point out is that it's untimely to seek seccesion. Look at the north, if only they could find economic oil in the Chad basin they would have long secceseded but meantime while the search for oil, they positioned themselves properly in Nigeria and are using that position to develop their region. If you live anywhere decent in the north then you will realise that we southerners ate suffering, the yorubas are industrial managers and they have lagos as an economic hub close to the seas, what does the south East currently have in comparative advantage to any other region, absolutely nothing, is biafra an igbo agenda or does it also includes the south south and minority because our economic potential in biafra is heavily dependent on which regions make up biafra. The ipob should have been an igbo awareness movement that strategies and plans for the future of Igbos and minorities, it should have created a framework to develop igbo land, it should have played politics better and ensured the the river Niger is truly dredged to enable our river ports, should have strategies to ensure portharcourt, cross river, bayelsa etc which have access to the sea are well exploited to reduce over dependence on lagos etc these are methods that naturally will bring prosperity to the south East and south south, turn these areas into an economic hub, after which we declare it's best we secced, how can you secced with an economically barren region, a region whose current potentials are heavily dependent on our coexistence with neighbours, you see Bro, am not against biafra but this is not the time for that. We simply are not ready. If you do the right thing at the wrong time you will only be left with regrets at not showing better restraint. Thanks |

Any where you go and no igbo man resides there please exit it, it's not about being on ground in the East, is it not the east I returned from last week, Wat are u talking about. Nigeria is going through issues that are affecting every tribe and region. Please asides the arrest of kanu what else is the problem that is peculiar to the Igbos. I saw a banner that said God punish gowon.imagine that in 2015. The person who printed that banner never saw the war but he talks about gowon. Biafra is an agenda igbos are using to run away from the fact that we are political failures. There is no promise land for the Igbos. If there actually is, since the 70s the Igbos have made economic improvements after the war, please take a look at the south East and tell me why we all have ten houses scattered around the globe but nothing in our home towns. Biafra is a struggle that might make sense if people chased it for the tight reasons and planning, why not slowly develop the south East, prepare the heaven we want to live in so that when we are ready people will envy us. What exists in the south East currently that offers a utopian alternative to Nigeria. Absolutely nothing |

rexbuton: This thread summarizes the problem with biafra.
1. The pictures used are being recycled on different threads. It is actually the picture from onitsha and asaba. There may have been a real protest, but it's unavailability means that the NL IPOB section is far away from the real action, as many of them are hiding abroad or are still living in the 'zoo' or are too scared to join the protest
2. Another problem which confirms what the Oduaarewanistan people are saying is the fact that IPOB have not done sufficient rallies in the core east areas like nsukka, umuahia, Enugu, Ohafia, Afikpo, enugu, Awka, Abakaliki but instead is organizing rallies in port harcourt, asaba, Yenagoa [sic], the latter areas can still be referred to as disputed SS regions, the SE should be covered first as charity begins at home. Actually there was no pro biafra rally in bayelsa, what happened was a protest about the police seizure on a vehicle to be used on Ken Saro-Wiwa's memorial day.
3. One would expect people who call others 'animals in a zoo' to behave like civilised people but instead what I see is what I refer to as the 'Biafran Paradox', where the animals are actually more refined than the Sun-Chasers. Eddygourdo raised a very strong point that we have never heard about the economic and fiscal plans or biafra, how they intend to achieve their utopia state , and not even one biafran could bring a strong argument to counter his, instead they resort to abuses and insults as is characteristic of biafrans worldwide. I even have one of them on my project team who disturbs us with zoo propaganda and he forgets that we have yoruba, Igbo, Tiv, Edo and expatriates working together. We also have ibibio guides in that same team. If this guy loses his job, he'd create a thread that he's being victimized. As it stands, apart from pazienza and tonyebarcanista, there is no other biafran who is capable of intellectual reasoning thought I stand corrected...
CC ifedebatoooo freedom4biafra xtrorse eurobomber31 cheruv agbagworo ilekeHD moderation2020 God will bless your generation. Even if you are a yoruba man, from today you are my brother. I prefer to be related to a man that reasons and talks with reason despite differing opinions than a chest beating simpleton who abuses me because they can't answer a simple question I asked. |
