I try not to be homophobic but if things have degenerated to this level, ha, there will be bloodshed oh, I had an appointment on the island today so left my home at 7am incase I meet traffic, not soon had I passed college Road heading to ogba did I notice my high engine temperature and the steam emanating from the car bonnet, I parked and noticed my fan went bad so coupled with the AC the engine overheated, anyway I abandoned the car there and jumped a bus to my destination, thank God for his favours today I finished my business and headed home, only to join a bus from ogba heading to ishaga iju so I can alight and find solutions to the car I abandoned there since morning did this weird shit occur, from my middle seat I heard the following

I turned around on my seat to see if someone was playing a movie or what I was hearing was real, I saw one young man talking loudly, cowering close to the boy passenger in question apparently a school kid, I faced my front and put on a good face in anticipation Charly boy might pop out with a camera indicating we were on his show, nothing of the sort happened, I always feel irritated hearing men toasting babes loudly as though his sweet words were also meant for my hearing, but to hear a man to man toast was exasperating, the boy kept telling him to leave him alone calmly, I almost turned back to whack the gay till the woman by my side did the deed, she turned and slapped him, other passengers whom I thought were oblivious joined in, everyone was having a share of the slap fest, I didn't see space to do mine cos he was slapping back, the boy passenger started shouting that he was pressing his penis, I screamed at the driver to stop the bus and control the ensuing madness, passengers fought the gay, especially the woman and another male passenger, the gay kept screaming that Wat has he done, isn't it a free world, can he talk to someone again? Blah blah blah, he was lucky no conductor, with the vehicle parked in front of the adjoining Street opposite ifako international plus all manner of crazies coming into the matter rendering justice to the possessed gay, I simply alighted and trekked towards where I parked my car, even as I left the pandemonium still raged, then I ask, has it gotten to this extent, street /bus paro? No to be homophobic but if that man is killed today I think he had it coming, though I feel bad cos instead of beating he must need prayers plus psychiatric care

I am truly tired of these people of the Niger, my very own people, I ask how we could be this bad, was it divine or a result of our colonial experience, how did we become beings without a conscience, humans with no respect for humanity and triumphant heroes in criminality and evil, I took out time to observe the average Nigerian driver on the road and I realised why we are a terrible people, In Nigeria nobody is wrong, we are all right, in Nigeria while sitting in a bus that took a wrong way we abuse the helpless motorist who refuse us entry into the normal lane only to shortly afterwards take sides with the driver after a minor accident because he refused another driver entry into the same lane, how can people be so callous, it's in this country that people praise their children for buying cars and property with no source of livelihood, it's in this country that a victim is called a mumu for falling prey to a swindler, it's in this country that theives set petty theives on fire in a market Square, it's in this country that even a convicted corrupt politician would have both real and e-warriors fighting his case both on the streets and on forums after selling their conscience for peanuts, Nigerians are people with short attention span, a nation of consumers, a nation that has forgotten it's past and sees no vision of its future, a nation of bad people, how do u rule a nation of bad people, bad people who never admit they are bad but find it convinient to accuse other bad Nigerians in leadership, I have always felt that the traditional democracy can never work here, we have to create our own, create a democracy based on our nigerianess, based on Nigerian time keeping, based on Nigerian insecerity, based on Nigerian tribalism and bigoted ideologies, any other thing na WASH
