PoliticsRe: Guess The Nigerian Problem Has No Partisan Solution by Eddygourdo(op): 4:39am On Nov 04, 2015
@mikolo80 the past outcomes of his administration has helped him win, helped create the buhari effect but I really doubt that will be enough to sustain support and faith in him. My thread in summary indicates that time is running out and we unbiased watchers of politics from a humanitarian unpartisan perspective expect to start seeing tangible economic and social plans and platforms that will show seriousness by his government to deliver dividends of democracy
PoliticsGuess The Nigerian Problem Has No Partisan Solution by Eddygourdo(op): 10:54pm On Nov 03, 2015
Sorry to say this for those who think otherwise, but it's the truth. I saw earlier threads by some young men arguing out whether it was logical for Nigeria's failure to be ascribed to a particular political party. Anyway I voted for buhari. I felt at the time that a change in the status quo was necessary and I still very much feel same way. But it has to be said that the few months already spent by this government has proved that nothing tangible with respect to dividends of democracy will come forth after its duration. I very much love the anti corruption crusade but please this isn't nollywood where we should entertain ourselves with accusations and counter accusations. this government hasn't shown me anything that depicts a change from mediocrity. No economic plans or policy to stem the tide of oil downturn, no policy on agriculture or SME's, no encouraging efforts towards our security, no policy on tackling youth unemployment, no plan or policies yet on foreign exchange repositioning, in fact no subjective direction on any matter that relates to governance asides the anti corruption crusade which so far has only created entertainment but no prisoners. How long will it take for the buhari effect to finally wear off. the power supply has suddenly started dwindling as usual, fuel queues have started forming, salaries are owed and blamed on computers in this century by a government, the list is endless. I am still a pro buhari supporter because I felt a change in ruling party forster competition, and of course where there exists competition the best and fittest always qualifies. I hope bubu starts getting his acts right and show us that change as soon as possible before the buhari effect is lost and we are left with disappointed people in a repeat of the Goodluck era of cluelessness
CrimeThe Mad People Behind A Nissan Micra Steering Wheel At Ibadan by Eddygourdo(op): 10:26pm On Nov 03, 2015
That caption captures it all, I was almost killed today if not for God. How can trafficator lights be for fancy, how can the brake pedal become a toy to test it's strength at the center of the road not minding who is behind you. The worst part is that if something eventually happens eg kissing or out right accidents then u need to see argument cum denials and finger pointing. The behaviour of these taxi drivers on the lagos ibadan Road would give any visitor an exact and accurate demo of a typical Nigerian. I think these are the worst set of drivers in the world and just to think that they even in a tiny car with silly passengers who are most times oblivious to the fact that they just dodged death. Anyway help me thank God for his grace, thank me for my driving skills and thank my car cynthia for responding to my romance on her brakes and steering while saving my life. Goodnight all

Everyone as a result of nature and nurture, has a motivating factor, the reason behind most of our consistent and sustained actions, people like me always look at born again peeps as though they out of this world. I always wonder if they sick in the head and don't wanna enjoy life, but the truth is that these people most times are happy and contented with their albeit boring lives and God is their motivating factor. To many others it's the fear to fail, financial prosperity, emotional loneliness etc and these are all products of our nature and nurture. These factor is also evident in women and their beliefs. What motivates the lady u interested in the most, what is that motivating factor that u observed to have always existed for her even before you arrived the scene. With respect to relationships and marriage, we have these motivating factors which exist in women either as standalone or in varying mixtures
(1) emotional longing : which I will define as the feeling of thrill in loving someone and being loved in return of equal measure
(2) physical longing : the thrill and possibilities that can be gleaned from physical exchanges with another human whom one finds attractive. This can be sexual, companionship or outright sadistic fetishism
(3) aesthetics : the love for the good things of life eg money, jewellery, bragging rights, vacations, attention and even outright calumny
These above in various proportions drives every woman, if she ever realises that a partner offers any of her predominant motivating factor, she most likely to feel a rush of adrenaline to the heart in constant expectation of fulfilment whenever in the presence of that person or in thought of that person. Most times this feeling is interpreted as being in love by that lady. The choice of a motivating factor is most times independent of individual as it's likely a result of nature and nurture. We likely to find more ladies from a poor background tending towards aesthetics as a motivating factor, especially if these ladies exist in environments which makes them regret their backgrounds of lack. Eg having affluent friends or school mates, living close or around affluent people, attending affluent churches and gatherings and many more.

Contrary to popular opinion that naija babes are cheats and materialistic and naija men are egotistically immature and serial cheats, we all would be liars if we say that at one point in our lives we haven't come across men and women who didn't fall into such predefined categories of dishonesty and greed. I always tell people that as a man, am responsible for the later success or failure of my marriage in that, if I become the reason for its failure due to my excesses, then I should be deemed at fault and if my chosen partner or wife becomes the reason for the strain or failure of the marriage, I am also at fault, because I simply chose wrongly, because out of the billions on earth how could I have chosen another man's missing ribs, anyway marriage is a house built on a foundation whose major material is choice, who did you choose to build your marital home with, what factors determined the choice you made, what agreements and concessions were deemed permissible to both partners naturally etc these and many are reasons why many relationships are doomed barely months into their birth. Men aren't all from Mars and women from Venus, understanding and better choice of partner results in better management of future challenges, better understanding even in misunderstanding, and over all marital bliss. I will start with the men in my next post, I will teach you how to discern a possible partner upon whose love and trust you can build your marital home. Brb

I love women like any other jack, but sometimes their reasons for acting the way they do leaves me most times in a lurch, this morning brought a great revelation that surmised my choice of topic for the thread, I got a call from my uncle about his daughter who displayed great Wonders last night at a vigil /deliverance session, you see this lady just got back from the states with the bomb shell news that she came home for a divorce from her husband. All efforts by family and priest to get her reasons and grievances proved abortive, even when she came to visit me I asked all the questions I could come up with such as was he gay, did he cheat, is he cruel, did he beat her etc, and I heard the same response every other person heard, " he is a stupid man, he is so old, he is a nurse am a doctor, am 35 and he is 42" . I repeatedly tried to make her see that her statements aren't enough reasons to walk out of a marriage cos she was likely aware of his job and age when he travelled down to Nigeria and married her a year and half ago , I even accused her of adultery threatening to visit America and give the man tempting her a beating, she said she had nobody, in fact we quarrelled that day and from the day she returned, she refused to go back, the hospital she works for as a doctor over there have threatened to sack her as well as seek compensation from her to them, still she doesn't seem to care. The husband kept calling and pleading initially for his wife to return but suddenly has stopped doing so after repeated threats by her to kill him if she returns and he didn't oblige her divorce request, for a month this raged on and truthfully I got fed up of pock nosing and left her to do her worst, the husband's family are even threatening brimstone and sulphur after learning of the threats, the husband claims all was well before she travelled back to Nigeria, in fact they had a short vacation in Las Vegas and there was no problem, he was shocked as we all were when the priest in their church called him and told him of my cousin's request. Anyway long story short an aunt of mine decided it was spiritual and convinced her to go for deliverance incase her husband's family were planning to kill her, it was the only trick that could get that jezebel to agree to a deliverance, My God, it was epic, they said my cousin ran mad in there, spoke in voices of a man and a child, walked on her head, exhibited every form of ogbanje one could imagine that many church members ran away, even her siblings ran away as she destroyed properties and lifted prayer warriors with one hand and flung them around (na Wetin the man tell me I wasn't there oh before u accuse me of lying), anyway morning came with my cousin in tears, asking why she is in Nigeria, asking about her husband, crying of body pains as a result of her nightly displays. The general agreement is that she is cured, and she plans to jet out Sunday. But her husband's family are sceptical, the husband himself is scared and kinda towing his family line that a separation Is better, adding to the fact that they claimed to have always suspected she was possessed. Well dats their own issue, but my own concern is the fact that while she stayed in my house, I spoke, pleaded and cajoled her to forgive within all reason and she refused, she rejected every advance I made and it infuriated me cos I couldn't understand how she just Couldn't get my point of applying common sense, though the knowledge now that she was possessed at the time makes it easier to understand but then again many and most ladies I do know never listen to common sense, they hate to hear the truth and sometimes display the type of decisional stubbornness my cousin displayed, should I assume they all possessed in one way or the other or was my cousins behaviour peculiar, hmmmmm mm, very confused

RomanceI Think I Just Met My Wife To Be by Eddygourdo(op):
You see, what I have been looking for in the skies had always been on the ground staring at me, a lady I take for granted cos my heart tells me she wrong for me, has always stood through thick and thin, words are cheap but actions are sacrificial, you can't always remain confused, single, lonely or even pretend to be happy being wit the wrong person simply cos ur scared of being alone and time is running out, this lady has always proved to me to care through her actions and even though I don't reciprocate it much and tell her to her face that I like badonkadoonks, which she really lacks she makes every effort to show me care, talk is cheap, oral declaration of love is cheapest, I rather build my future with a lady with no badonkadoonks who has loved and cared for me through thick and thin, than with a princess charma with huge badonkadoonks who might be a simpleton, how do I propose to a lady who I have always been cruel to, apology first?

Nobody gets lured into Lesbianism.

That one is a big lie.
They all should know when a fellow woman is being too nice or inappropriate.

So because the video has gone viral and their shameless deeds exposed, we should believe they were lured?

Come on.
you must be a man, no woman can reason so objectively as u did above, women aren't that smart
