Me and 2 other tenants went to his room to confront him. He gave me 2k and said he doesn't have money that he would give me the remaining 3k by Friday. They told me to take the 2k first and wait till Friday.

My anger is that why did he lie to me that he would give me back the money when he knows he didn't have it. He is married with 2 small children yet he goes to ashewo joint to drink and chase women. I would wait till Friday na it's just next tomorrow.

This morning I went to a POS attendant to make a withdrawal and in the process she narrated to me how she was duped of N20,000.

According to her, a young man ( probably early 20s or less) approached her to make a withdrawal of N20,000. After inserting his ATM card into the POS machine, she returned the machine for him to insert his PIN. The transaction was successful with an inscription "withdrawal approved" written on the POS screen. At this point, there was nothing suspicious about the transaction. She counted the money and gave the young man.

How did she find out?

Well, when the young man left, another customer came to make a withdrawal using First Bank ATM, she discovered that there was no network. If that's the case, according to her, how then did the first person succed (the first person equally came with First bank ATM) when there's no network at all.

The above scenario prompted her to check her transaction history. Unfortunately, there was no trace of initial transaction (N20,000). Instead what she saw on the history was a message that the first person has exceeded his limit. Which means the transaction wasn't actually successful but the young man manipulated the machine to look so. At this point, the young man has gone to God knows where. May be to try his luck on another ignorant attendant.

According to woman, she has never had this kind of experience. There's no trace of withdrawal but the transaction was successful from the indication on the POS screen.

The guy even bought boxers worth N3000 from the attendant using the same money.

Here comes my question?
How was he able to maneuver or manipulate the POS machine for the " withdrawal approved" message to come up? Mehn, one really need to be careful especially in this difficult moment.

You see this POS Attendant many of them lack sense, if you go to bank for any transaction, bank reserve a copy of your transaction, not even the copy, they collect the original copy and give you the duplicate, incase of any future mishap, but this GenZ POS don’t even have paper on their machine because they want to cheat nature, on the point of printing that receipt the POS agent would have sense the error if she printed that transaction, if show successful that would have been her stand against the Service Provider of that machine, and they will pay her the money because she have proof, but now no prove, advise her to lick her wound in peace

If the machine is Nomba she will be credited in the next 24hour

Honestly my friend only very few normal people visit hotel, majority of the customers are indeed terrible

Things that can come up as a lady working in hotel include Framing or setup, you can be lure if you are not emotionally stable, you will see nonsense that you are not suppose to see, someone can kill on your duty and you will answer for it, your man can easily lost you to those wolf on sheep clothing

Invest on extra morals class within the locality and any town or urban centre close to your PPA, just a matter of time you will have your own private school, because u got some skill there, you can still diversify to other area as time comes
