Ipob struggle started during Goodluck Jonathan's Administration, but Jonathan paid no attention to Ipob and Nnamdi Kanu( because public attention was all they were looking for). But however, as soon as Buhari came into power, he popularized Nnamdi kanu and his Ipob, by sending him to prison. And now, the ipob struggle that was local, is now international and gaining public (both National and International) patronage. Hence, pdp gat no hands in ipob. A friend of mine has a waec certificate already with good grades,but he's planning on rewriting, because there was a mistake in his year of birth.
According to him, he has an affidavit from the high court in respect to the result. But, he is being advised to rewrite waec again, because majority of employers this days don't value affidavit anymore because of the way it has been abuse by some persons. And please note, he is a final year student that is graduating by October this year. So my question is, if he write waec gce this year(2017), and he is also graduating this year(2017), this means that, the year of graduation in his BSC certificate will reflect 2017, likewise his WAEC certificate. So, won't it be a problem for him when his certificate is being screen for employment.
Note: He went to waec and he was told that nothing can be done to salvage the situation.

One of the reason why we have uneven development in Nigeria especially in the North, is because of their ideology. They so much believe that anything that has to do with Western education is unholy. But however, if one should follow antecedent, it will be seen that the northern elite for instance the Emirs do send their children(especially the male children) abroad to acquire Western education. But funny enough,they (the religions leaders)will make the poor masses believe that Western education is a sin, and that it should be fought to a stand still at any cost. So therefore, if Emir Sanusi and other Northern elite who have passed through this western Education and also gain from it, can change the reasoning of the northerners, then in no distant time,the north will be competing favourably with other regions in terms of development.
