If Arsenal had managed to bag Dembele on loan, what would have been Iwobi's position in this team?
Dembele at Celtic?? Isn't he a 9??

just on your gen early for the next match and stop analysing what you don't know.
I don't have a need for a gen..haven't seen one in more than a decade.
I'll trust you to start talking about how Emery and every Arsenal fan hates Iwobi the next he doesn't start or gets subbed.
You're in for a big shock when you realize Emery sees Ozil and Ramsey as more important players

In the game against Chelsea, Iwobi was subbed. It was obvious that he was looking exhausted in that game. So performance was not necessarily the reason for that substitution because he was one of Arsenal's better performers.

Ramsey is not in direct competition with Iwobi.
Ramsey is also not in direct competition with Ozil.
But we know how Emery sets his teams up...two number 6s and a 8. He showed that today and we know what that means..Ramsey and Ozil both starting in this set up means Ozil goes to the wing and Iwobi likely drops. That's just the truth.
Iwobi will only be a regular if Emery plays Ramsey as a CM in a 4-2-3-1. Simple.

Collect your L and go sleep. Na people like you dey peddle news say Emery go offload Iwobi before the season started. You will still collect another L when Iwobi proves you wrong.
Ramsey and Ozil are not competing for a place. No amount of Iwobi love will change that.
Ramsey and Ozil have been available together for 2 games and they both started one and Ramsey got dropped for the other.
Ramsey and Ozil are two of the biggest attacking players in the team and will both start together when they're fit. Facts!
As usual, it's not surprising you're tagging me an Iwobi hater because I've said something about him that you didn't like..
Oh well...it is what it is

Wenger was obviously the coach when you were following them

This is Emery's team, not Wenger's team and since Emery has only played 3 league games this season, your idea that you know this team is laughable and ridiculous.

You don't know anything. This is not Arsene Wenger's Arsenal, so don't come here and be whining yourself that you know anything
But I know how Emery sets up and how he intends on using Ramsey.
He'll either play a 4-3-3 with Ramsey as a CM or a 4-2-3-1 with Ramsey as a 10 and Ozil out wide.
Ramsey and Ozil are not competing for the same place.
Anyhow you'll see for yourself in the next few games

When Ozil started last week, Iwobi started against Chelsea. Ramsey came on as a sub for Ozil.

This week, Ozil was ill and Ramsey took his position, none of this affected Iwobi. If you don't know somtHing, swallow your pride and ask questions.

Your argument is baseless and wrong and like I said, you obviously need to start watching games, you must be getting your match news from some random beer parlour gist
If you don't know how Emery operates or followed Arsenal during pre season, just go sit somewhere.
Ramsey and Ozil are both part of his 5 captains. If you think Iwobi will have a regular run while Ozil and Ramsey drag for a spot, then it's obvious you don't know how Emery sets up his team or even Ramsey's main position

It is Ramsey that started because Ozil was ill

The Ramsey that started in place of Ozil today abi another Ramsey? The Ramsey that came on for Ozil in their last game? You don't even know who is competing with who, yet you are talking with confidence. It is Ozil and Ramsey that are competing for a spot.

Do you even know where Iwobi plays? Abeg, next time if you no start match, just leave am.
Go and look at the starting line up against City before you talk.
If Ramsey comes in, he plays in the middle with XHAKA - Guendouzi /Torreira. Ozil moves to the right and Mkhitaryan moves to the left.

Your past national team performance should be in present continuous terms. Etebo gave a good account of himself at the Mundial. You can’t be rewarding players based on that they did in 2016/2017 when since then they have been poor. Like I said earlier, we can only conclude that Etebo’s form has dropped when we assess him in the National team. For uncapped players, we can only judge from recent club performances.
This was the point I was trying to make when I said Nacho wasn't in top form. But for some strange reason, it was seen as taking a jab at him.

The nigga doesn't press and doesn't drop deep. He play even behind the defence line when we are with the ball, and without the ball leaves pressing for Mikel who is supposed to be behind him.
It's not a regular occurrence! That's my point. I'm not denying he was piss poor at friendlies and the WC proper...I personally feel he was struggling with sharpness.
But when he is on form, he is easily our best choice as a LONE STRIKER. If Rohr permanently switches to a 3-5-2, then I'm cool with dropping him....but not when we play with one striker.

You are something oh.

You are arguing with someone who is busy bringing up a match against Aston villa. I mean that us faulty in all aspects. First of all this is Aston Villa, who even knows the names of those defenders there? I remember Ighalo having monster games against even Chelsea and Liverpool(he scored against Man U too) but then his go to game is against Aston Villa. sha let's say that's what he has. the second problem there is in what year did he actually play that match? Three years ago? I mean if we go by that wasn't it Ighalo that just scored a hattrick in the Chinese league? What's Iheanacho's most recent performance(s) in recent competitive games? This una argument no make sense just drop it
Nah man I'm tired of how people are making it look like Ighalo is a old fashioned target man that is just good in the air.
Ighalo is superb at taking players on. His finishing is inconsistent but to make it look like he's a stiff guy is nonsense.
Dude was bossing defenses in his first season at the epl.

It seems you do not even understand what mobility is. Nacho offers way more mobility to our offensive setup. Ighalo's style slows the team down offensively, especially off the ball. Not even a debate.
Nah rather you don't understand what mobility is. Ighalo is more mobile than Nacho. Ighalo has good movement and can actually dribble pass defenders when he wants to.
We're not talking about raw speed here.

My answer is that Nacho offers more mobility, quickness and lethality in front of goal.

Finito.
Iheanacho does not offer more mobility. Go watch our games vs Cameroon and see why Ighalo is a better lone striker.
Podolski is a better finisher than Giroud but Giroud is a better lone striker than Podolski.

So what is the debate about. We need a striker who offers us mobility, quickness, lethal finishing and the ability to drop deep and create for others.

Baffles me why power and holdup play becomes a top criteria over multitude of attributes others bring.

Baffling.
Nacho only trumps Ighalo at finishing. Because he can slip a final pass doesn't mean his link up play is superb.
Ighalo at his best is mobile and quick and of course can drop deep. Let's not forget that Ighalo too like Nacho thrives in a 2 striker formation, only difference is he can play the lone striker role better.
Oh and when I talk of holdup play, your mind seems to jump to the likes of Giroud, etc.
Suarez and Aguero both improved their hold up play after few seasons at epl. They can hold up play, beat a defender when necessary...something Nacho can't do at a consistent basis.
75 percent of Nacho's best games have been as a SS.

I have said the reason why some of you rave of lone striker talk is because you guys are used to conservative approach of long balls to strikers. If we talk with respect of controlled, cohesive, attacking play, we will need a player with movement and quickness. As pointed out, Nacho has thrived as a lone striker. It is just a myth. The top marksmen in the game today rely more on movement than power.

That is why you are talking of an outdated bullying of defenders.
My question to you is this - is Ighalo slow?

You definitely do not see the difference. The buzzing around you refer to is the strength Nacho brings to our team. The mobility disorganizes the opposition and gives our other players room to exploit.
Ighalo has shown to be able to do the same and hold the ball up better.
Ighalo major flaw is his finishing which isn't consistent enough.

Which one is dominating a player. I am talking of lighting the pitch on fire or scoring goals that have jaws dropping. Shooting with insane ability. In that respect, Nacho trumps. Not even a debate.
You said explosive. Use your words better. I don't think anyone here ever argued that Ighalo was a better finisher than Nacho.
The argument is who is the better option as a lone striker?? The answer to anyone who has watched both is Ighalo without a doubt.
My opinion of Nacho has been consistent way from time...Great finisher, good final pass and an average dribbler.
You said Ighalo never had the explosive start Iheanacho did at epl but I reminded you of his first season at Watford. Simple.

No I'm not. Nacho did not lead the line well in that game. He just buzzed around unnecessarily. How many times did he link up play?? He pressed their defense and that was it.
In an attacking sense, he was average. Simple. Everyone here saw the difference when Ighalo came in against Cameroon and Zambia
