Let's play our lives versus Croatia so we can play the Chelsea way against Argues in case Iceland shocks us.

Worst case scenarios....

We must take the Croatian match as a win.

We can shock Argentina too. Ndidi&Onazi should be mentally ready for him. Besides I see us bossing that middle. They don't have the middle asides the presence of Messi.
Iceland will sit deep. The question is can we break them down??

You have chewed the kolanut at the right spot. Our flair is gone. But we played with considerable flair during the WCQ. Thanks to Mikel abi.
Yeah but with no Mikel, the team is terrible. I still insist Rohr should've tried out at least one creative player. Doesn't matter what league they play in.

Iwobi came into limelight playing on the left wing against Barcelona. He was mustard in that game and in the final games of that season. He can make the wing his own just like Nasri did. He doesn't have the balance in his game to sustain play in the midfielder for now, in my opinion.
He is like Nasri. He can play at both positions. I only want him to play as an AM so Mikel can be pushed back to aid with our buildup play.
People who don't like him playing outwide don't like inverted wide players I guess

no yawa.

i am currently watching nigeria v poland friendly. defense seem to be the thing that characterizes our game now. we are described as the counter attacking team. the ball is played in our pitch. we dont control the game. when did we start playing this kind of football?
As soon as Rohr started playing with two destroyers.

I won’t lie. At this point, I trust Echiejile more than Aina DEFENSIVELY

Modified

Trust me, it’s got nothing to do with that foul near the 18 yard box.
If Rohr insists on playing with 2 destroyers, then we might as well use or full backs for width and have Iwobi drift inside from the left. This is where Aina might be better suited than Echiejile

this has always been my ideal midfield.

and i know ndidi doesn't sit infront of the defence. let him do what he does best, he has the stamina to be going back and forth
Same here. We need someone to help us buildup play from deep.

If Simon Moses second scan is positive, what happens to Simy? Would a midfielder have to be dropped?
Joel Obi I guess

.....fashion a chance for himself out of nothing. Yet he has not scored since after the first leg against Cameroon.
Said fashion a chance out of nothing - not clinical. He does this better than Nacho even though Nacho is of course more clinical

Don't go there with that technics bullsshit. Ighalo is full of technical and ,actually, that is his strength.
Exactly. Ighalo is our most technically gifted and skillful striker. Dude can fashion a chance for himself out of nothing.

On the left. Move Iwobi to the middle

I saw the video of Tuchel emerging from the meeting with Neymar. It had the semblance of a newly appointed ambassador presenting his credentials to Queen Elizabeth at queen's court.
Neymar is in charge at PSG.
Yep. In Emery's recent interview, he said as much. Said Messi is the leader in barca, Simeone in atletico and Neymar in psg

Moses Simon out injured is a big miss for us. We have little creativity on this team and he is one of the few creative guys we have. On his day, he can bring a bit of guile to our play outwide. Etebo and Musa will give us different options but Moses Simon guile will be missed.

I sympathize with Simon Moses. He really deserve to be in Russia. Maybe his enemies and those journalists writing trash about him should be satisfied now. Meanwhile Etebo should be his best replacement for d LW position for now. Etebo played d LW position at d Olympics and was very dangerous there. He has no business in d middle of d field for d SE, LW should be d best position to utilize his energy, defensive n attacking abilities. But if we need a winger that offers something different, then Onyekuru should be invited if he's fully fit. As for Musa, we know he cant start any match, we also know he cant make any positive difference from d bench yet nobody is talking about dropping him.
Good shout. I've always said he'd be a good option out wide. Play Iwobi in the middle and both can interchange at will. You move Etebo to the middle if you feel Iwobi is being overpowered in the middle or losing stamina.
Ndidi - Mikel - Iwobi with Etebo - Ighalo/Nacho - Vic MO as our front 3 is worth being looked at.

Mikel as defensive midfielder in its present set up? please Mikel is playing his best football at that AM position now and he seems happy with it
We need him more for our build up play. Iwobi can play as an AM. None of our CM can help with building up play. Mikel can beat the press, hold up play and distribute.
This 2 destroyers thing is going to backfire sooner or later.
