charlesemeka85: torunarigha is a regular for the german youth team and one who is a sure banker to make their team to 2019 euro u21 championship so his chances of turning out for us seem slim. uduohkai who i rate so high seem to not make up his mind yet but the nff and rohr shouldnt give up chasing him. as for akpoguma, he really needs to wake up and start his senior international career with Nigeria because i dont see him breaking into the german senior side no time soon because he the position he plays they have abundant talents waiting on the wings to be picked. Kelvin Akpoguma is still mad about not getting a reply when he tried to get in touch when he was a bit younger. He'll come around eventually |

PDPGuy: A Siasia or Oliseh.
I know left the job in acrimonious circumstances, but that doesn’t mean the door has to be shut against him permanently. I believe the national team will benefit from his tactical knowledge. He will be the finished product once he becomes a better man-manager. I love Oliseh but I don't think he'll come back anytime soon. Siasia we've seen enough of. |

You should have seen the shameful comments made before, during and after the Chan tournament. If some had their way, they would have disbanded the Chan team even before the tournament.
Africans are just terribly lazy. They want ready made everything. They never make their own. Consumer nation, that's what we are. The Chan team was thrash. That's why they were criticized |

Cheating is doing something that is not right to win.
In football, it is doing something that is not part of the game to win.
So calling it part of football is nothing but a joke.
Gerrit? I've watched the final 3 times now and I've seen Ramos did not purposely injure him. Salah tried to lean on him and unfortunately Ramos fell on him. Same with the Kairus thing. Van Dijk pushed Ramos unto the guy. I don't understand how that is also Ramos fault. |

Stephen Keshi was one of the best man managers around. Tactically I didn't rate him as much as an Oliseh or a Siasia, but he knew how to motivate players better than those two. He always seemed to fall off after he's had a major achievement. Togo didn't do well in the AFCON in 2006 and he had issues with Adebayor which some were saying had to do with "agent talks". After the World Cup with us, he was poor in the Afcon qualifiers. He and NFF should shoulder equal blame for that. |

charlesemeka85: have seen lukas nmecha, his younger brother and bashiru play for man city's youth team and i must say that they are super talents we can not miss without giving it a try. the older nmecha has all the qualities to metamorphose into a monstrous striker in the future, the younger nmecha whom i love his style of player is a lovely central/box to box midfield with bags of tricks and good passing abilities while bashiru is an aggressive defensive/central midfielder who reminds me alot of a young eddy onazi. another one the nff should approach ASAP is arsenal's xavier amaechi, the kid is a super talent with a deadly left foot England and Arsenal do everything in their power to make sure Amaechi never plays for us |

I read rumors of Mane leaving too and guess what I saw... real Madrid?! Like seriously... if Madrid will land a Liverpool player, it would be Salah... but Mane... well, time will tell. So apart from Madrid... what other club is in the picture for Mane? I don't see Mane taking a step down... his next move if ever, must be a bigger club than Liverpool... There are rumors of Salah's agent offering him to Barca. I think of Salah or Mane will leave. |

TheSuperNerd: Alongside the strong links with our own Super Eagle, Simon Moses, Liverpool seem close to bringing in Xherdan Shaqiri and Nabil Fekir... Definitely Fekir is to play as Coutinho's bonafide replacement in that CAM role alongside Naby Keita and Fabinho in Liverpool's midfield...
Shaqiri is to provide cover for maybe a Salah while Simon Moses is to provide cover for Sadio Mane....
Liverpool are building strongly for next season and they will officially join my list of "Clubs I fan" if they land Simon Moses (Note: I still love the big guns of Europe shaa for their football, pedigree and excellent benchmarks but a more special place is reserved for every club having a Super Eagle... Yes... Even Changchun Yatai ) Saido Mane is leaving. It's madness to sign so many wide players. |

I still insist taking both Simy and Lokosa was a bad idea. We should've invited Simy and used the other spot to try out any available creative player we had i.e Samuel Kalu, Onyekuru, Olayinka, Aluko, etc. Right now it looks like we lack guile and someone to stretch things outwide. This plus Simon getting injured na double headache. We have no choice than to switch to a 3-5-2 now. It should be our number one formation for now. As for Shehu, I still think fasting might have played some role in his poor performances so far. Still prefer Ebuehi sha especially if we're going to play 3-5-2. |

Mujtahida: How dem treat am wey some people dey here dey cry? Left for me no player would be dropped out of that 25 but this is what it is. Apart from the fact that Aina has not really wowed us, the main problem I have with him is his casualness. No player in the team gives me such an impression not even Moses. on the whole it would have been fair for him to have been tried as a RB. But the question is if Aina were to be a naija born would this high cry have been heard? Aina is a regular at Hull and had an above average season. Echiejile wasn't even getting starts at a second division Belgian side. How many opportunities did Aina get if we're being real?? Yes I know people will point to Ebuehi and talk about how he came and played well against Argentina but he was a bit shaky in his first game for us too. Yes Aina hasn't killed it but neither did Echiejile. If we all agree Idowu is first choice LB at the moment, why not take a younger Aina to gain experience? His versatility might have come in handy. |

goldfish80: With Musa's natural ability, I imagine he would have improved just like Ebuehi did. I recall Ebuehi saying initially in his early days he wasnt good enough yet for international football. Aina with all the resources invested in him by Nigeria yet, couldn't acquaint himself. Had Musa been given equal opportunities like Aina and Ebuehi, he would have been ready because the ability is undeniable. Wait - are we talking about the same Musa Rohr invited in his early days?? The same Musa Rohr organized private training sessions for?? The same Musa Rohr spoke about and encouraged him to leave his club to get regular playing time?? Musa was invited before Ebuehi if I'm not mistaken. Rohr probably didn't pay attention to him after he moved and still couldn't nail down a starting spot. If we're being honest, apart from Echiejile and say Mikel when he was still at Chelsea, how many non starters at club level makes/made our first 11??(Uzoho is one but he plays regularly for the reserves I guess) |

Mujtahida: Abegiii. Something wey dey clear for everyone eyes. Okay na, continue with your false winger abi inverted winger. My position is play Iwobi from the wings he will flop whether inverted abi converted, play him in the middle he will be a beauty to watch.
No be only inverted, na inverter. Iwobi's bright start at Arsenal was actually from the left wing. He can play at the left but likes playing as a 10 more. Simple. |

forgiveness: A fit Ndidi is a starter for me and Mikel should also start alongside but I don't know Rohr's mind.
If prefers Mikel as the AMF, Ndidi and Onazi are my starters but Iwobi plays the AMF role then Mikel and Ndidi will be my starters.
All depends on the formation because if we play 3 mans defence I expect Ogu should play as one of the CBs. I don't want to see the Ndidi - Onazi axis against European teams. They'll just press the hell out of Onazi. Mikel's fitness is starting to look suspect to me. Will he have the energy to drop back and help dictate play?? |

In that congo match he did it, killing a sweet counter attack as a result, then yesterday he showed us his plans. I nearly broke my LCD when he headbutted Balogun. Jarus: I like your last sentence.
Drogba used power against any team - Europe, Africa - getting good goal returns in clubs and national team, where he scored more than 50 goals in CIV jersey, although his WC performances were not flattering.
Same with Yakubu. Good scoring ratio for club and country.
If you are a power playing striker, use it anywhere.
When you are easily caught up in simple caging of your midfielders, there s a problem.
As bad as Yakubu was, he sometimes temporarily changed to the wings to get better supplies if supplies were not coming from middle and he cut one or two defenders to score goals.
Drogba even sometimes dropped deeper into his own half.
Ighalo should learn to do more too.
Power is an asset to him, but he could do better. The era of standing 9 is gradually fading.
PS: The coach, based on post-match press conference, was satisfied with his performance. He might have ayed strictly to instruction Is it the same Ighalo I've been watching all these years or based on ONE game?? Ighalo is FAR more than just a power striker. Very streak yes but he is still our best allround striker. He's quick, skillful(yes he really is) and contrary to what I am seeing can link up play. Very surprising people are making him up to be this kind jambody immobile striker just because of yesterday. Nacho might be a better finisher but Ighalo is better allround as a 9 imo |
