I mean our everyday mechanics are not mechanical engineers by profession , then why are certified mechanical engineers shying away from this lucrative sector to give the people what they indeed require.

mechanical engineering is not all about fixing cars,.... thou there are many mechanical engineers who specialize in automobile,... there are other mechanical engineers who specialize in other sections

I am a mechanical engineer, mechanical engineering is very broad. Automobile is just part of it,.. there are other sections of mechanical engineering that people are doing extremely well.
