The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajuddeen Abbas, on Monday led a high-level delegation to Kebbi State to commiserate with the people and government over the abduction of 25 schoolgirls and the killing of two staff members of Government Secondary School, Maga.

No fewer than 10 Fulani herders have been reportedly killed in a reprisal attack on Sunday at a settlement in Tilli community, Bunza Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

According to local sources, the attack was launched following the killing of a vigilante member allegedly by Lakurawa bandits, which community members mistakenly blamed on the Fulani residents in the area.

Three staff members of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were allegedly kidnapped while travelling to Anambra State for an official assignment, according to rights advocate Harrison Gwamnishu on his verified Facebook page.
