The Kogi State Government has praised the swift intervention of security agencies and local hunters which led to the rescue of 17 kidnapped passengers along the Lokoja–Obajana road on Thursday.

17 Passengers Freed After Swift Operation

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, the government confirmed that the victims were freed following the joint action of the Nigerian Army and local hunters, who pursued the abductors and secured the release of all hostages.

The Bureau News learnt that the rescued passengers were immediately taken to medical facilities for examination and care.

Condolences Over Fallen Officers

The government also expressed concern over a separate attack on security operatives in Yagba West Local Government Area, which led to the deaths of several police officers.

“These gallant men paid the supreme price in the line of duty,” the statement read, as the state extended condolences to the bereaved families.

The Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Zamfara State chapter, has directed its members to commence a seven-day warning strike beginning midnight of Wednesday, September 12, to press home demands over alleged salary discrepancies.

Union Alleges Bias in Salary Implementation

In a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Comrade Shamsudeen Sadeeq, the union accused the State Commissioner for Health of “selective and biased leadership,” claiming that only doctors benefited from the 100% CONMESS salary implementation, while other health workers were left out.

The statement noted that despite issuing a 15-day ultimatum and holding several meetings with the state government, no progress had been recorded.

“The Commissioner for Health’s style is partial and unfair. Only doctors were fully captured in the salary implementation, leaving other health workers at a disadvantage,” the union alleged.

Strike Mobilisation

The joint unions have directed executives in all branches—including dispensaries, primary health centres, general hospitals, and specialist hospitals—to mobilise members for full compliance with the warning strike.

The strike is expected to last until Wednesday, September 17, after which the unions may consider an indefinite strike if their demands remain unmet.

Diphtheria Outbreak Kills 10 Children in Niger State, Govt Moves to Contain Spread

At least 10 children have died in Niger State following a fresh outbreak of diphtheria, raising concerns among residents of affected communities.

The outbreak, which has been reported in Bida and Agaie Local Government Areas, has particularly affected children.

According to reports obtained by The Bureau News, many of the victims were rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Bida, but could not survive due to a shortage of drugs required for urgent treatment.

Health workers further disclosed that fatalities may be underreported, as deaths have also occurred in communities outside hospital facilities.

Govt Confirms Outbreak

Confirming the development, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tertiary Health Care, Mohammed Gana, admitted that diphtheria cases were spreading in the two LGAs.

“We are doing everything possible to put the spread under control,” Gana said, while noting that official casualty figures could not yet be released.

He explained that the high death toll was partly due to parents in some communities refusing to present their children for vaccination. However, he assured that partners are stepping in to support Niger State with medications and emergency response.

Three police officers have been killed in an early morning attack at Egbe, a border community between Kogi and Kwara States, authorities have confirmed.

Attack at the Border

The Kogi State Police Command disclosed that the incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP William Ovye Aya, the attackers ambushed the officers on duty and killed them before fleeing the scene.

Sources told The Bureau News that the assailants carted away the rifles belonging to the slain policemen.

Tactical Response

SP Aya explained that the state’s Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, has deployed a tactical squad to the area to track down the attackers.

“I can confirm that three officers on duty were killed today in Egbe, a border community with Kwara State. The Commissioner of Police has deployed a tactical squad, and we are on the trail of the perpetrators,” Aya said.

Ongoing Investigation

The Bureau News – The Presidency has dismissed Fegho John Umunubo, who served as Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy (Office of the Vice President).

The announcement was made on Monday at the State House by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Mr. Biodun Oladunjoye, who confirmed that Umunubo has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.

Oladunjoye cautioned stakeholders in the digital and creative economy, both within Nigeria and abroad, that Umunubo no longer holds any authority to represent the Tinubu administration.

“Fegho John Umunubo, who hitherto had served as the Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy (Office of the Vice President), has been disengaged with immediate effect. Kindly note that he no longer represents this administration in any capacity,” Oladunjoye said.

He further warned that anyone engaging with Umunubo under the auspices of the Presidency does so at their own risk.

“Henceforth, anyone who interfaces with him in the name of President Tinubu’s administration does so at his or her own peril. We urge all stakeholders and constituents of the digital and creative economy to be so guided,” he added.

The Bureau News – The 13 Brigade Nigerian Army has announced significant gains in the ongoing Operation Egwua A Tite II in Kogi State, confirming the neutralisation of several bandits and the rescue of kidnapped victims across troubled communities.

The operation, which ran from September 1 to 5, 2025, covered Lokoja, Kabba-Bunu, and Yagba West Local Government Areas.

In a statement issued on Monday in Lokoja, the Brigade’s spokesman, Lieutenant Hassan Abdullahi, disclosed that troops recovered:

Key Battle Engagements

According to Abdullahi, troops of the 126 Battalion, supported by Hybrid Forces, engaged bandits around Tunga, killing two in an encounter.

On September 2, an air combat mission in Ankomi neutralised fleeing bandits, while on September 3, clearance operations in Aleke, Ungwan Soni, and Ungwan Nyaba led to the rescue of Pabo Suleiman and his two children.

On September 5, troops neutralised a notorious bandit leader, Bala, alongside five associates during a fierce gunfight at a hideout near Tunga.

The Brigade Commander and Force Commander Operation Accord III, Brigadier General Kasim Sidi, personally led several of the operations, boosting troop morale, destroying bandit settlements, and maintaining dominance through patrols and ambushes.

The Bureau News – The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has announced sweeping measures to curb the recurring clashes between herders and farmers in the South West zone.

At a press briefing in Lagos on Sunday, the group, in collaboration with the Council of Fulani Chiefs of South West Nigeria, declared a ban on night grazing, state-to-state migration of herders, and the carrying of firearms.

The association said the decisions were reached to stem the tide of conflicts, banditry, kidnappings, and farmland destruction that have led to the loss of lives and property in the region.

Zero Tolerance for Criminality

Speaking on behalf of the group, leaders condemned the rising wave of criminal activities linked to some herders, stressing that such acts do not represent the Fulani community.

“We have taken bold steps to address these issues. We will no longer tolerate criminal elements hiding under the cover of herding. We call on security agencies to identify and prosecute both the perpetrators and their collaborators within host communities,” the association stated.

The Bureau News – At least three persons have died in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Shiroro and Munya Local Government Areas of Niger State, following critical shortages of food and healthcare facilities.

The Desk Officer at the Gwada IDP Camp, Hussaini Alhassan, disclosed that many of the displaced persons fled Kaore and Bassa communities in Shiroro six years ago due to insecurity and have since lived in dire conditions.

He explained that the camp recently recorded the death of two newborns during childbirth as a result of inadequate health facilities and basic amenities.

Elderly Woman Dies in Kuta Camp

Confirming a separate incident, the Coordinator of Kuta IDP Camp, Yusuf Kuta, said an elderly woman also died, bringing the total fatalities in recent days to three.

He noted that over 300 IDPs, mostly women and children, continue to face severe food shortages and lack of essential supplies, appealing to the federal and state governments to urgently intervene.

“Our people are suffering. We have women, children, and the elderly who are starving and without medical care. We need urgent government support to survive,” Kuta pleaded.

The deaths highlight the worsening humanitarian crisis in Niger State, where thousands of families displaced by banditry and violence continue to live in unsafe and under-resourced camps.

NNPP Expels Abdulmumin Jibrin Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities, Unpaid Dues

The Kano State chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has announced the expulsion of Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, a member of the House of Representatives, citing alleged anti-party activities and failure to meet financial obligations.

Addressing journalists in Kano on Saturday, the party’s state chairman, Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa, accused Jibrin of repeatedly attacking the NNPP and its leadership in the media.

“If he were truly strong politically, he would have won his election under the APC, but he failed,” Mr. Dungurawa said. “It was only when he joined the NNPP through Kwankwasiyya that he became a House of Representatives member. Now he is deceiving himself, thinking he is strong.”

The NNPP chairman further accused Jibrin of defaulting on the payment of party dues, saying the party would seek legal redress.

“We will drag him to court to recover what he owes the party. It is a constitutional requirement for every member to pay dues, but he has consistently failed to do so,” Dungurawa warned.

Commenting on speculations that Jibrin may defect back to the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dungurawa dismissed any threat to the NNPP, stressing that politics thrives on coalitions and group strength.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final register of voters for the upcoming Anambra State governorship election, scheduled for November 8, 2025, confirming a total of 2,802,790 registered voters.

INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Sam Olumekun, disclosed this in a statement issued after the Commission’s meeting in Abuja.

According to him, voter registration was conducted across the 326 wards of Anambra State from July 8 to 20, 2025, with 168,187 citizens registered as new voters.

He added that the Commission subsequently set aside July 26 – August 1 to display the list of new registrants in line with Section 19(1) of the Electoral Act, 2022, allowing citizens to make claims and objections.

Breakdown of Voter Register

The distribution of registered voters across local government areas shows significant disparities:

Idemili North tops the list with 246,318 voters (8.79%)

Awka South follows with 216,611 voters (7.73%)

Ogbaru ranks third with 188,016 voters (6.71%)

The least populated are Dunukofia (83,580 voters; 2.98%) and Anambra West (71,332 voters; 2.55%)

Olumekun assured that Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for new voters, transfers, and replacements will be ready for collection well before election day, which is now 62 days away.

171 Groups Seek Party Registration

Meanwhile, INEC revealed that the number of associations seeking registration as political parties has risen to 171, following the receipt of 19 fresh letters of intent as of September 3, 2025.

Olumekun explained that the committee reviewing the applications has already prepared recommendations for the Commission’s final consideration.

However, he cautioned applicants against frequent changes of acronyms, logos, and addresses, as well as multiple submissions and leadership disputes, stressing that such issues are slowing down the process.

The Kebbi State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a suspected member of the notorious Lakurawa bandits, following credible intelligence that linked him to cattle rustling across the Nigeria–Niger Republic border.

In a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Nafiu Abubakar, police identified the suspect as Salihu Umar, a 42-year-old from the Dogon Dutse area of Niger Republic.

He was arrested at the Bachaka cattle market with ten rustled cows belonging to Usman Aliyu of Zogirma town in Bunza Local Government Area, Kebbi State. According to police reports, Aliyu lost 68 cows on August 20, 2025, after armed Lakurawa bandits attacked and drove the cattle across the border into Niger.

Abuja – The Speaker of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Matthew Yare of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been impeached by eight councillors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in what political observers describe as a dramatic shift of power within the council, The Bureau News reports.

The impeachment took place in the early hours of Monday inside the council’s legislative chamber, where the APC members consolidated their new majority status.

Following the motion moved by Mathias Aliu of Wuse Ward and seconded by Chidawa of Karshi Ward, the councillors unanimously voted Yare out and elected Jankaro Ibrahim, councillor representing Kabusa Ward, as the new Speaker of the AMAC legislative council.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has issued what it described as a “final warning” to the Nigerian judiciary ahead of the October 10, 2025 ruling in the trial of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, The Bureau News reports.

In a strongly worded statement signed by its spokesperson, Comrade Emma Powerful, the group accused the federal government of orchestrating an unending persecution of Kanu and demanded the complete dismissal of the charges against him.

“We are at a decisive moment in the persecution of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,” Powerful declared. “The world has seen how the Nigerian government keeps breaking its own laws just to detain an innocent man. This must stop.”

‘Legacy on the Line’ – Message to Justice Omotosho

According to IPOB, the ruling of Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Abuja, will not only determine Kanu’s fate but also define the judge’s legacy.

“Will you be remembered as the judge who stood on the pillars of law, or as another accomplice in injustice?” the statement asked.

Why IPOB Demands Dismissal of Charges

The group laid out several arguments:

Alleged Blasphemy: Angry Youths Kill Female Food Seller in Niger State

A tragic incident has occurred in Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State, where a female food seller, popularly known as Ammaye, was lynched by angry youths over alleged blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad.

The attack reportedly took place at Kasuwan Garba after an earlier dispute in Igwama community. Eyewitnesses said Ammaye, a Muslim and well-known food vendor, had an exchange of words with a young man said to be her nephew. The man allegedly joked about marrying her to “fulfil the Sunnah,” prompting a response from her that some residents interpreted as blasphemous.

The matter was escalated to the District Head of Kasuwan Garba. During interrogation, she reportedly repeated the statement, which further enraged locals. The District Head handed her over to security operatives, but a crowd of agitated youths insisted on her immediate execution. Despite efforts by the security personnel, the mob overpowered them and stoned her to death.

Confirming the incident, Chairman of Mariga Local Government, Abbas Adamu, said normalcy has been restored to the area.

The Kebbi State Government has officially approved the appointment of Sanusi Mika'ilu Sami as the new Emir of Zuru, following the death of the late Emir, Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sami Gomo II, who passed away in London on August 16, 2025.

Presenting the letter of appointment to the new monarch in Zuru on Thursday, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Garba Umar Dutsin-Mari, said the decision followed the recommendation of the Zuru Emirate Kingmakers Election Committee.

According to him, out of three candidates screened by the committee, Sanusi Mika'ilu Sami secured the highest votes, which earned him the throne.

The State Security Service (SSS) has filed six separate charges against nine terror suspects accused of carrying out deadly attacks in Benue State and other parts of northern Nigeria, The Bureau News reports.

The charges, filed by the Director of Public Prosecution of the Federation (DPPF), Muhammad Abubakar, detail gruesome crimes, including killings, arms trafficking, and illegal possession of firearms.

Yelwata Attack and Main Suspects

Two of the suspects, Haruna Adamu and Muhammad Abdullahi, both from Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, were arraigned on four counts connected to the Yelwata massacre in Guma LGA, which left several people dead and others injured.

According to the charge sheet, they allegedly conspired with other suspects — including Musa Beniyon, Bako Malowa, Ibrahim Tunga, Asara Ahnadu, Legu Musa, Adamu Yale, Boddi Ayuba, and Pyeure Damina — and others still at large to carry out coordinated terror attacks in Abinsi and Yelwata between June 13 and 14, 2025.

The SSS further accused them of withholding vital intelligence that could have prevented the killings. The offenses are contrary to and punishable under the Terrorism Prevention and Prohibition Act, 2022.

Reprisal Attacks

Two other suspects, Terkende Ashuwa and Amos Alede, both from Guma LGA, Benue State, were also charged with participating in reprisal attacks linked to the Abinsi and Yelwata incidents.

They face a three-count charge for allegedly attending meetings that led to acts of terrorism, including the destruction of property and the killing of 12 cattle in Ukpam village, contrary to Section 12 of the Terrorism Act.

Arms Trafficking and Support for Terrorism

Halima Haliru Umar, a 32-year-old woman from Faskari LGA, Katsina State, was charged with concealing information about a suspected gunrunner and transporting 302 rounds of AK-47 live ammunition for bandits in July 2025.

Nanbol Tali (75) and Timnan Manjo, both from Plateau State, face a four-count charge for allegedly buying and selling two locally fabricated AK-47 rifles for ₦3 million and reselling revolvers to bandits, in violation of the Firearms Act 2024.

Silas Iduh Oloche of Agatu LGA, Benue State, faces a six-count charge for unlawful possession of 18 grenades and 683 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition as of August 2, 2025.

No Trial Date Yet

While the SSS has confirmed that all suspects are in custody, no official trial date has been set.

A fresh wave of violence has rocked Southern Kaduna, where seven people, mostly children, were killed during a deadly terrorist attack in the early hours of Monday, despite a peace pact between the Kaduna State government and notorious bandit leaders, The Bureau News reports.

According to community leaders, heavily armed attackers stormed Angwan Rimi in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area, late Sunday night, unleashing violence that left several dead and many more wounded.

Mr. Iliya Tata, Public Relations Officer 1 of the Irigwe Development Association, confirmed the incident and condemned the brutality.

“Seven persons have been killed, while eight others sustained gunshot injuries and machete cuts,” Tata said.

Amnesty International Condemns Fresh Wave of Killings in Nigeria

Amnesty International has condemned the recent wave of killings across Nigeria, describing the past week as “yet another bloody one,” while faulting the authorities for failing to protect lives and property, The Bureau News reports.

In a statement released on Friday, the global rights body urged the Nigerian government to take urgent steps to guarantee the safety of its citizens, warning that the country is witnessing an alarming deterioration in security.

“The Nigerian authorities must do more to address the horrifying and increasing threat to the right to life in some parts of the country,” Amnesty said.

65 Killed in One Week

According to the group, at least 65 people were killed in separate attacks across Nigeria within the past week alone.

In Katsina State, gunmen attacked worshippers in a mosque, killing over 50 people and abducting more than 60 others.

In Plateau State, at least 15 farmers were slaughtered by gunmen in Mangu LGA, leaving more than 200 people displaced.

Amnesty International warned that the “alarming escalation of attacks, abductions for ransom, and frequent killings across Nigeria have left people feeling more unsafe, showing utter failure of the authorities to protect lives and properties.”

Katsina Mosque Attack

On Tuesday, at least 32 worshippers were killed when armed men stormed a mosque in Unguwan Mantau community, Malumfashi LGA of Katsina State during the early morning Fajr prayer.

The attackers opened fire on congregants, leaving survivors and the entire community in shock.

Confirming the attack, Katsina State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr. Nasir Muazu, described it as a reprisal:

“The incident occurred when criminal elements launched a reprisal attack on the community. The Muslim members of the community were praying in the mosque during Fajr when the attackers started shooting sporadically inside the mosque.”

Call for Urgent Action

Amnesty International stressed that Nigerians should not be left at the mercy of rampaging gunmen.

“No one deserves to live constantly bracing up for the next attack or abduction,” the statement added.

The group further reminded the government of its obligations under international human rights law, regional treaties, and Nigeria’s constitution to protect the lives of all citizens without discrimination.

Despite repeated assurances from the government, killings and abductions continue across several states, heightening fears among communities and raising questions about the country’s security architecture.

ZURU, KEBBI STATE — The remains of the late Emir of Zuru, Maj.-Gen. (Rtd.) Muhammad Sani Sami, Gomo II, have been laid to rest in his hometown, Zuru, with Vice President Kashim Shettima, Sultan of Sokoto, top government officials, and eminent traditional rulers in attendance, The Bureau News reports.

The Emir, aged 81, passed away last Saturday in a London hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by four wives and seven children.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Tinubu, joined dignitaries including the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, Kebbi State Governor Dr. Nasir Idris, senators, ministers, and traditional rulers across Northern Nigeria to pay their last respects.

Also present were Senator Musa Maidoki (Kebbi South), former Minister of Interior Lt-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (Rtd.), Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, Estu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, and several emirs from Yauri, Gummi, Anka, and Kagara.

The body of the late Emir arrived Zuru airstrip at about 11:43 a.m. aboard aircraft 5N-DOY, accompanied by his family and the Kebbi State Governor. At exactly 1:58 p.m., Vice President Shettima’s aircraft touched down, proceeding straight to Zuru Central Mosque, where the funeral prayer was observed.

Markets and major streets in Zuru were shut down as thousands gathered to witness the Janazah prayer, led by Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Tanko, Chief Imam of Zuru Central Mosque.

After the Friday Jumu’ah prayer, the Emir was interred at his private residence in Zuru town, with leading dignitaries in attendance at the graveside.

Shettima’s Condolence Message

Speaking on behalf of President Bola Tinubu, VP Shettima described the late Emir as a patriot who served Nigeria with dedication.

“This is a sad day for the entire nation, for Kebbi State, and for the Zuru Emirate. On behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I convey our deepest condolences to the government and people of Kebbi State and the family of the late Emir, who dedicated his life to the service of peace and unity,” Shettima said.

He prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannah Firdaus and give his family and people of Kebbi State the strength to bear the loss.

ABUJA — Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has declared his full support for politicians aligned with President Bola Tinubu, insisting that governance will favour only those who work with the Tinubu administration, The Bureau News reports.

Speaking on Thursday at the flag-off of Lot 2 of the Water Supply Projects in Karu, Wike commended former FCT senator, Philip Aduda, and the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Chairman, Christopher Maikalangu, describing them as leaders who have delivered tangible development to their people.

The minister promised to construct a 2km road in Karu site following Aduda’s request, saying that government listens only to leaders who can channel the people’s needs.

“Support those who have capacity to bring something to the people. Support those that government will listen to. Anybody who supports Tinubu, I will support him,” Wike said.

Wike Backs AMAC Chairman’s Re-Election Bid

Wike praised AMAC Chairman Maikalangu as “very good and hardworking”, noting his efforts in bringing federal projects to the council, including:

Saburi Road

Kabusa–Takushere Road

Deidei Road

Rehabilitation of other rural roads

The minister assured residents that if Maikalangu secures re-election in February 2026, his administration will support him with more projects, regardless of political party.

“The chairman has access to us. Anything he tells us, we will do. If he wins as chairman of AMAC, we will give him whatever he wants. I don’t know the party he belongs to. But I know that he supports Tinubu,” Wike stressed.

Water Supply for Karu Residents

Highlighting the Tinubu administration’s commitment, Wike said the Karu water project was proof of government keeping its promises.

He contrasted Tinubu’s government with past administrations, accusing them of abandoning satellite towns.

“We have had governments that stayed here for five years, even eight years. Did they ever provide you with water? Did this government promise you water? Have we now delivered water? So you see, agreement is agreement,” Wike told cheering residents.

Political Context

Philip Aduda, a three-term senator under the PDP (2011–2023), lost his seat in the 2023 general elections.

Christopher Maikalangu, originally elected as AMAC chairman on the PDP platform, defected to the APC in 2024 and is now seeking re-election in 2026 on the ruling party’s ticket.

A terrifying night attack on Chakfem Chiefdom in Plateau State has left several people dead and numerous homes destroyed, plunging the community into deep mourning, The Bureau News gathered.

According to a statement issued by the Plateau Youth Council (PYC) — signed by Joshua Gabriel Goholput, Deputy PYC Chairman, and Ephraim Prep, PYC Chairman Chakfem Chiefdom — the attack occurred on Monday night and is part of a disturbing pattern of coordinated violence that increasingly bears the hallmarks of genocide.

“We condemn this barbaric assault in the strongest possible terms. No cause or grievance can justify the systematic shedding of innocent blood,” the Council stated.

It added that each life lost represents a shattered dream and a scar on the conscience of the nation, stressing that such persistent violence threatens the peace and unity of Plateau and Nigeria as a whole.

The Council urged residents to remain resolute and called on security agencies to act swiftly and decisively, warning that failure to bring the perpetrators to justice would only embolden further attacks.

“Anything short of justice will only embolden further bloodshed. Justice is not optional; it is a necessity for peace to reign,” the statement added.

The PYC also appealed to government at all levels to provide adequate security and relief support to survivors. It reaffirmed its commitment to peace and the protection of its people, vowing not to remain silent in the face of ongoing violence.

Meanwhile, Persecution.org also reported that Islamic Fulani extremists attacked Christians returning from morning devotion in Gwon village, Plateau State, killing three men and injuring four others, some critically.
