Of Course Ethiopia is where it all began, that's where Adam & Eve were placed in the beginning, see Genesis 2:13 (KJV).

Ethiopia is teh FIRST country mentioned in the Bible (gen 2:13), Ethiopia is the First country to convert to Christianity after Jesus arose.....Ethiopia is where teh Ark of the Covenant was taken to by the Son of King Solomon and Queen Sheeba and it remains there today....Ethiopia is the land where "Lucie" one of the world's oldest fossils was found.....Ethiopia is what was mentioned in Psalm 87 as the land where "This man (Jesus) was born!"

See again? White people want to hide this so bad! Trust me, if Ethiopia was a country of white ppl, world wouldn't have put us on this position

I hate when people moan that the color of Jesus is not relevant, fair enough, well then tell those white folks to consider that and to represent Jesus in other colors and see if they will heed or not. Who is fooling whom?

Actually, Jesus movie have been made in Ethiopia (all are black). I am not going to lie but it was kinda hard for me to see it. Even though I knew it was the right thing to do

That was when I came to understand the post card of white Jesus and the movie of white Jesus that av seen frequently have had an effect on me.

The movie made here must spread to others. Especially kids, black kids might think white ppl are the best or on top because they view Jesus white

Any time a drama is made for Jesus, they always try to choose the white person in the room. No one must be picked by color to represent Jesus! Any one with any type of skin tone must make it

wow, thats creativiy in it's peak. I might not knw your countrys culture but u did a good work. which design software are u good with?.

I don't use designing software, I can only use software for Architecture( Auto cad). I am willing to learn but I have no extra time left.

By the way, I also like photo editing and creating beats by virtual dj. I have found a new software for photo editing. I will teach myself. I have blender software for graphic design but I have a lil idea of how to use it.

Ethiopian Architecture is amazing. Did you know our ancestors have constructed an underground church? Many ppl know the pyramids of Egypt and their Architecture. It's only a matter of promotion, Ethiopian Architecture is amazing! We will learn a course called 'Ethiopian Architecture' here because our Architectural buildings are things that we must never pass without learning

The teachers asked us to make a logo of our future company. I bet we had the chance to use colors but the teachers only allowed us to use only black and white.

the name is -zembaba( it is written in Amharic)
I named it zembaba cuz a plant named zembaba is used here in ET for many designs. I tried to use the shadow of the word inorder to reflect the work of our ancestors in architecture and that my work will be influenced by their work.

I had 3 other reasons. Made this long ago, I will try to remember and tell you.

It is more than making logo, logos tells a lot, the shape, the colour choices...it is more than a brand representation...It is the face of a brand. There should be clever use of color(using colour near to each other). It must be different. Since u are into archi...u will make a good fashion designer...but what's your passion?

I just want to become someone that make things differently. Whether am an Architect/ fashion designer or Graphic designer. . .I want to make very unique thing combining it with the Ethiopian culture and to introduce it to the world.

Here is the logo av tried only once at class. It is made by hand, it is a collage.

You are right...colours and lines in Logo have a meaning .My client logo do tell a meaning in regards to her business line sometimes. I rarely see ladies studying architecture. Wow...you are extratordinaryly unique and you will make it with flying colours.

I also want to start Graphic design. I will take fashion design class soon. I design dresses. I feel like it will help me to become a good architect. Can you tell me what Logo design is all about? Is it just making logos or morethan that? (Although I know making a logo is not simple as anyone thought).

The usage of colour was based on choice, i can try out other work with matching colour that u will love.

okay, I just asked cuz in class, we were once told to create a logo. And the teachers told us that every little thing or even any curve we might use on the logo must be intentional (there must be a reason). I am an Architecture student tho

Earlier I had 2 posts one showing Kikuyus are related with Hamars and I gave another link showing Kikuyu/Amhara genetic links of up to 50% Here are Agaws,closely related to Amharas. The last 2 are Dorzes,Omotic NOT OROMOS from the south. They all strongly resemble Kikuyus,Tutsis and Kambas to a certain extent-but the eyes are different.

I have 4 best friends; 3 of them are protestants and 1of her is a muslim. There is no bigger example that could show how people can peacfully live in tolerance.

People have to walk their own way. No need for a fight cuz whether you worship Allah or Jesus, both would not love it seeing us behave like this



Btw most of the time in ET, Orthodoxes and Muslims respect eachother but not Protestants and Orthodoxes.

We don't do fellowship at all. We differ with protestants a lot

Well, northern Ghanaians may use similar clothes with Nigerians and other west africans but Southern Ghanaians (Akans, Ewes and others) use mostly only their KENTE cloth and this has been popularized as the national clothes and culture of Ghana.

This is what the Kente looks like, it has no resemblance whatsoever with Nigerian clothes like the Adire, Buba and Aso-oke, Babanriga, Shokoto, akwa ocha e.t.c.

The Ethiopian protestant don't give a special place for St Mary and so they blame us for that. We give a special place to St Mary

Only Ethiopian Orthodoxes are included in the music industry. The ET protestants don't sing at all. They think we are full of sins for that reason.
