I pray this will help to bring down the price of PMS. If not, the masses go hearam. |
MatrixReloaded:Someone gave birth you right? Are you a monster or wreck to them? If no, what makes you think your own children will turn out to be so. |
8 months? Are you sure she's still alive? If she's still alive and there's evidence, the security agencies should move in and rescue the victim. |
Trossard should start ahead of Martinelli |
Without the protest, you wouldn't have done so? |
Tallesty1:Thank you! |
Tallesty1:More details please. |
Hunger knows no tribe. |
muyico:You are right. We need solutions, not accusations. But for us to find solution, we need to be sincere and transparent in our doings. |
PandoraObi:Lol. Like I said earlier, we should thank God for 'faceless' forum like nairaland. Everybody is rich and wealthy on nairaland. |
PandoraObi:We should thank God for 'faceless' forum like nairaland. How I wish our present conditions can be displayed for everyone to see. Suffering and smiling. |
He warned us about the outcome of our decision in 2015. We're back to square one. Everything seems to going upside down. Before 2015, a bag of cement wasn't up 1500. Today it's something else. I remember buying a paint of bean for not up to 900. Today, a paint of beans is now hovering between 8000 and 10,000 depending on your area. Jumbo bread was between 400 and 500. Today it's now between 1700 and 2000. I remember buying 25kg bag of foreign rice for 9000 (2018). Today, it's between 35,000 and 40,000. Before the election in 2023, series of debate were organised for various candidates to present their opinions but a particular candidate kept dodging from the debate. When he eventually made himself available for an interactive interview with journalist and the Nigerian in diaspora at the Chatham House, veritable questions were thrown at him, yet he dodged them. Today, he is now our president. Bishop Oyedepo, before the election, made it clear that Nigerians have short memories. In other words, we tend forget quickly. Those who forget history tend to repeat the same mistake. The American political debate between Trump and President Biden provided the American people every evidence that President Biden is not fit to contest for the presidential election. Today, he has been replaced by his Vice President. It's well. This is just the second year and we still have six years and half months to go. May God to sustain us in this trying times.

I read somewhere that this facility was completed by the last administration but was yet to be commissioned for use. Could it be that the inability to officially open the facility for use contributed in the vandalization? |
OPICANTO2223:The same people who teamed up against him later apologise directly or indirectly when the evil they foisted on Nigerians boomerang. It's well. |
deanoffaculty:He was an opportunist but favoured by fate. I agree to the fact that he was never a politician. |
OPICANTO2223:Goodluck was never a politician. He was favoured by fate. Remember, he was a lecturer ( I stand to be corrected) before he was picked up to serve as the Deputy Governor. He was yet to acclimatise with his position when he was picked to be the Vice President. He was yet to adapt to the position of Vice President, when his boss, late President Yardua, passed on. For such position as the President of Nigeria, you need to have not just the experience but the heart to govern difficult country like Nigeria. Those inexperience and inability to take 'fully charge' of his position was considered weak. But what we couldn't remove from him is the fact that he was a listening President. |
OPICANTO2223:I guess God has answered your prayers by giving you someone who is strong. So there's no point complaining about both the immediate and present administration. |
Horus:So, what's the difference between what he did and what the current administration is currently doing? They called him all sorts of names just to be in power. He even made an attempt to remove fuel subsidy but people who are currently in power worked against him indirectly using protest. Indeed we owe him an apology. |
I think we owe this man an apology.

AmandaLuv:I filled mine without the TIN since it's optional. |
kingmekus:Using old account number has some implications. The old account number can't be used for salary. |
President Bola Tinubu’s media aide Olusegun Dada has reportedly deleted an old tweet where he called for w@r over tear gas being used on peaceful protesters. This is coming after he issued a warning, tweeting that those “who want to burn down the country will be resisted”. Some X users have already dug up old tweets of him calling for protests against former President Goodluck Jonathan's administration. https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2024/7/president-bola-tinubus-media-aide-olusegun-dada-deletes-old-tweet-where-he-called-for-w-at-r-over-tear-gas-being-used-on-peaceful-protesters.html

Gabon’s President has invited Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote to explore investment opportunities in their country’s Cement and Fertiliser sectors. This comes amidst his row with Nigerian authorities over the operation of his private refinery. The Dangote group shared a photo of Aliko with the Gabonian President and wrote; ‘’President/CE of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, (left) in Gabon on invitation of the President, Brice Oligui Nguema (right) to explore investment opportunities in Cement and Fertiliser (Urea and Phosphate)'' https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2024/7/gabons-president-invites-dangote-to-explore-investment-opportunities-in-their-countrys-cement-and-fertiliser-sectors.html

So many private schools are yet to implement the old minimum wage. |
South East is not joining simply because David Umahi says so. It is simply because should there be a break down of law and order, the blame will be channelled to South East. |
I thought FG signed agreement with Tompolo to protect the oil pipelines. |
Top exporter? When other countries are trying to cut down on global carbon emissions. |
England will win. They may not be the favourite but they have some luck working in their favour. |
What then is the work of customs? |
I see England winning this tournament. Spain may be people's favourites but it seems England has this luck that's following them. They almost got knocked out by Slovakia but at the dieing minutes, Bellingham equalised and Kane won the game for them at extra time. In the game between them and Switzerland, similar thing happened. Against Netherlands, few minutes to end the game, Watkins scored the winning goal. |
derecho:He was among those who campaigned against this present government. I decided to post this for the interest of those who may think it was every Yorubas that voted for this administration. |
I totally support this. This is not peculiar to Lagos alone. The unfortunate thing is that they usually commit this act during heavy rainfall so that the current can help to flush them out. I remember seeing a shop owner disposing his waste inside a gutter. When I confronted him, he did as if what I was saying doesn't concern him. Punishment isn't just enough. There's need for government to address this problem using other means of communication different from the mass media. It seems some people don't understand the far reaching effect of their actions. |
