I've created the account. I wrote to them and I was asked to create an account with namebright since the same login details can be used for dropcatch.

Btw, which virtual card are you using for dropcatch?

It's not easy to be a Nigerian and to survive as a Nigeria. It seems none of the virtual cards is working. This may have something to do with government clampdown on dollar exchange platforms.
FoodRe: This OR 100K Cash? Choose Wisely by edogu(m): 11:33am On May 16, 2024
I will go with 100k. In my state with such amount you can get:
Rice: 25000
Yam: 15000 (you may even get more depending on the specie of yam)
Potato and Onion: 10,000.
Total: 50,000
Bal. 50,000
Note: You may even save more depending on your bargaining power.
SportsVAR To Be Scrapped By Premier League? by edogu(op): 10:37am On May 16, 2024
Letter sent to the Premier League regarding scrapping VAR.

"Wolves have formally submitted a resolution to the Premier League to trigger a vote at the league's AGM in June, on the removal of VAR from the start of the 2024/25 season.

The introduction of VAR in 2019/20 was a decision made in good faith and with the best interests of football and the Premier League at its heart. However, it has led to numerous unintended negative consequences that are damaging the relationship between fans and football, and undermining the value of the Premier League brand, which include:

• Impact on goal celebrations and the spontaneous passion that makes football special.

• Frustration and confusion inside stadiums due to lengthy VAR checks and poor communication.

•A more hostile atmosphere with protests, booing of the Premier League anthem and chants against VAR.

• Overreach of VAR's original purpose to correct clear and obvious mistakes, now overanalysing subjective decisions and compromising the game's fluidity and integrity.

• Diminished accountability of on-field officials, due to safety net of VAR, leading to an erosion of authority on the pitch.

• Continued errors despite VAR, with supporters unable to accept human error after multiple views and replays, damaging confidence in officiating standards.

• Disruption of the Premier League's fast pace with lengthy VAR checks and more added time, causing matches to run excessively long.

• Constant discourse about VAR decisions often overshadowing the match itself, and tarnishing the reputation of the league.

• Erosion of trust and reputation, with VAR fuelling completely nonsensical allegations of corruption.

The decision to table the resolution has come after careful consideration and with the utmost respect for the Premier League, PGMOL and our fellow competitors.

There is no blame to be placed - we are all just looking for the best possible outcome for football - and all stakeholders have been working hard to try and make the introduction of additional technology a success.

However, after five seasons of VAR in the Premier League it is time for a constructive and critical debate on its future.

Our position is that the price we are paying for a small increase in accuracy is at odds with the spirit of our game, and as a result we should remove it from the 2024/25 season onwards."

PoliticsRe: Maintain Minimum Wage At N30,000.00 But Give Workers 3 Things??? by edogu(m): 10:05am On May 16, 2024
KnowAll:
If you are a good economist inflation is the easiest thing to curb. Find what is causing the inflation

1 transport cost that should be taking off once fruit & vegs are purchase & warehouse in the cooperatives. The cooperatives on the hand would sell to the people at subsides rate. Bingo inflation over

2. Gasoline since government cig powered Lorrie’s would be doing the delivery to the cooperatives that would be reduced to the bearest minimum .
If inflation was that easy to curtail, how come the US is still finding it difficult to manage inflation over there.
Right now, Fed. is still battling to know whether reduce the interest rate or allow it to remain like that.

Foreign AffairsPeru Classifies Transgender, Nonbinary And Intersex People As ‘Mentally Ill' by edogu(op): 6:07am On May 16, 2024
The Peruvian government has officially classified transgender, nonbinary and intersex people as “mentally ill.”

According to the country's ministry of health, the controversial decision was made to ensure the country’s public health services could “guarantee full coverage of medical attention for mental health” for the trans community.

It also categorises “dual-role transvestitism,” “fetishistic transvestism,” and “other gender identity disorders” under the same bracket of mental illness.

The new law will change language in the Essential Health Insurance Plan (PEAS) to reflect the view of trans and intersex people as a mental health disorder.

Trans groups across Peru have loudly condemned the decision as a step backwards for the country’s already complex relationship with LGBTQ+ rights.

FoodRe: My Mom's Local Food Canteen In The North by edogu(m): 9:19pm On May 15, 2024
To an extent the Op is right.
First, he's wrong because the cost of transporting goods especially food stuff from North to South is quite expensive excluding other things like extortion from security men plus agricultural levies coming from various states.

Secondly, you are right in the sense that some of these cost are self- inflicted. For instance, a satchet of water is sold 8 for 200 naira in Akwa Ibom. In Umuahia, it's two 100 or 3 for 150.
Romance3 Ways To Know If A Girl's Waist Beads Is Not Ordinary - Lady by edogu(op): 8:21pm On May 15, 2024
Seun: Nairaland does not agree with the fetish views that people have about waist beads. This story was featured by my staff for mockery.. This is not true. Do not harass or think bad of women with waist beads under any circumstances, please[/b].
A Nigerian lady on social media has revealed her opinion on waist beads, saying some are not ordinary and are worn to 'trap' innocent guys..

She listed three ways to know if a waist bead carries supernatural powers.

Some waist beads are kayamata beads to trap innocent guys. How to know the beads are not ordinary spurs.

1. If you noticed something like m!ld electric shock when you try to climb her, my dear run for your life, if you sleep with her, you going to be trapped forever.

2. If your prick stand so strong when you’re with her and all you just want to do is to have S€x with her and you’re ready to give her anything.

3. If you have s€x with her and you just want to continue having s€x with her non stop, dem don trap you, you will empty your bank before your eyes will clear.

Above of all pray not too jam this type of girls, they will not turn back until they ruin your life. Guys be careful.

He DIDN'T acquire symphony.com through auction. I remembered clearly when he sold symphony.com for 375k. Namepros members asked him how did he acquire it? He said through private deal.

For how much? Abdulbasit refused to say the price till today. Why? Because he definitely acquired it very cheap as usual and too embarrassed to say the acquisition price.
Well, provided the acquisition was legal, I don't see anything bad in it.

Natural2Heal:
Who are the foolish domainers who usually sell their good domains at wholesale prices to Abdulbasit in private deals? Some domainers just don't have sense or patient.

They will sell their domains to him at wholesale cheap prices and Abdulbasit will sell it after holding for $10k plus. Thereby making him richer.

Don't be surprised if he bought that Symphony.com from a foolish domainer at less than $10k in private deal and resell it at $375k.

And the guy only BUY very good domains at very cheap prices in private transactions, calling it bulk deals.

Presently there is a thread about him on namepros where he is referred as a shark feeding on smaller fishes in the domain industry and becoming richer.
Domain is a venture that requires patience, not everyone has the patience especially when you have so much domains in your portfolio to renew. So, I don't really blame those who sell their domains at cheaper rates.

As for the symphony name, It's possible such name was acquired through auction.

Information Technology creative industry? Lol.
Instead, Computing has been a bedrock for the creative industry. Giving you digital tools for your editing, application platforms for the sales and distribution of your contents and so many countless other windows of opportunities it has afforded the creative industry.

Please, if you're not sure if Information Technology has done more for the entire world than 'creative industry' has ever imagined or if it is an industry on its own, kindly group it with Science and Technology. It's pure Sciences, thanks.
It's a spit in the face to consider all the science and engineering that goes into Computing/IT and round it all up as mere 'Creative Industry'. Please!

Well, actually, I got mad love for Sabinus etc. I spend a good amount of time consuming creative contents on weekends.

But here's what, a so called industry that barely caters for those in its fold and cannot afford them decent lives cannot be a 'bedrock'.
You name a few (RMD & co) who may not even be surviving from the proceeds of their 'industry' but, what about the countless others who the industry has actually not given any decent earnings for their livelihood. Then go to the IT sector and find out what decent earning means..

Anyway, you may continue basking in the euphoria of being a bedrock.

I rest.
Whether information technology is part of creative industry or not, atleast I'm glad to an extent you understand where I'm driving at. As for their welfare, this is where we need the government and other private organisations to come in. Thank you

Do you even understand what a 'bedrock' is?

Entertainment, yansh and breasts and the whole lotta bullocks y'all sing is only secondary to any human being's survival, let alone as a country.

Creative whatever is not a bedrock of/in any country, definitely not in Nigeria.

You people just hype nonsense
Yes, I do. It is one of the industries that has kept the economy of the country going employing millions of our youths. It includes both the film, sports, fashion information technology and music industry. Without much investment from the government, look at how much have been achieved. The same industry has placed the country on the global map for good.

You see 'yansh, breast etc' but I see genuine hardworking men and women toiling day and night just to make something out of nothing. The likes of Funke Akindele, RMD, Kanayo O Kanayo, Burnaboy, Wizkid, David, Sabinus, Layi Wasabi, Basketmouth, Ali Baba etc. This also includes the directors, producers, script writers etc.

Just imagine what the amount of money that the industry draws for the country. According Businessday, "Nigeria's creative industry is poised to hit a projected revenue of $100 billion by the year 2030".

I hope you now see why I used the word 'bedrock '

Which Abia? Abia especially Umuahia is one of the peaceful state or capital in the south east. Nnamdi Nkanu is from Umuahia but hardly hear of sit-at-home. Only few banks and some transport companies observe sit-at-home. But within the capital, there's nothing sit-at-home.

Na Imo, Anambra and Enugu wey carry that thing for head. Even Aba that used to hot doesn't take it serious when compared to three states that I mentioned.
