xamphara: Well, those who voted ACN @ home n GEJ as President have done us proud. Thank u for believing in GEJs ability to turn the fortunes of this country around. Hypocrisy pays bigtime. After reading this story, is this the best comment on the situation you could make ? @topic. If this problem was caused by sabotage like is being speculated, then it's truly appalling how selfish individuals could be at times. That's how an old security guard watching the facilities of a run down company near me, always complains of attempts by some people to vandalise some items there. |

Former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas says he "never felt more at home" than when he played at Highbury, the club's former stadium. The Spaniard believes the north London club now need to make Emirates Stadium "their own". Fabregas admits he watched Arsenal progress through to the Champions League group stage with a 2-1 win over Italian side Udinese on Wednesday, a victory which he believes will give a much needed "boost" to Arsene Wenger's squad. |

Lille will demand an arm and a leg. . . Wenger will offer them a fingernail and a toenail One "super quality" signing is looking necessary though. to be honest, i don't think Hazard is coming. It's just cock and bull to keep the disgruntled parties quiet for now. The way i see it, this team with a bit of extra effort could be spurred into finish 4th place, which is obviously good enough these days . |

The woman- I love my hubby so much. He means the world to me. He is practically like a maid. He does everything and ask me to rest. I will make sure he does majority of the house chores. Pedicure, french tips & take a bow hairstyle is sure for me as he would sort his things out.
The man- I hope she takes the impotency result very well. Thats why I have been dancing to her music ever since. Make all my washing no dey in vain.
Scene 5
The woman- My husband is like Adenuga. Na wa oh what a big wedding indeed. As far as the money keep floating and I keep changing cars, who cares about the source. After all pastors don't ask the source of peoples collection
The man- I am in a secret cult & she would never deliver as all our kids must be donated. She never bothered to ask what kind of business I am into. Cuddlemii: Likely thoughts of couples at a wedding or during the wedding period.
Scene 1
The woman - I am free from societal rantings. Now all my friends would know that I have a head to catch a man. I love him. Even if it does not work out, at least make dem say i don enter am before. OMG they would bow when they see my wedding dress.
The man- Did I do the right thing, chei no more mary, amaka, helen, vivian and rolake. Same food forever, make I smile for the camera before pple go dey decode my thots. Hmm this chief bridesmaid set no be small, damn. God help me to resist.

I'm sure the management team still has nightmares over the Flamini episode. They regret the millions they lost on that crook just walking out. Flaminis free transfer must have registered as the biggest loss this decade in their minds. I'm sure even worse than the loss to Barca in France. |

debosky: My personal view, not 'goat insight', is that this is less about players making demands, and more about the inherent cautious nature at Arsenal FC.
The board would rather NOT make that expenditure (right now) and wait a couple of days to secure the extra £25m of CL footie before doing so. This is not a bad position from a financial perspective, as you would hate to have to sell players in order to balance the books due to the loss of CL income.
I am of the view that the club has made significant efforts to sign players, within its means, but has been gazumped either financially or otherwise in more than 3 cases. I think it would be foolish to continue to chase targets in the same manner after failing three times - it may involve changing tactics in the market and that may be what the club is doing. And by that inaction(by the board ofcourse), we're now not only at risk of missing out on this year's £25m UCL splash but next year's as well. Because as things stand at the moment 4th place this season(yes it's still august) is looking like a long shot to me. |

Every year proudly come saying this goat will die, but it doesn't die for another 10 years. After 10 years, proudly now jumps up and down claiming I was right in saying this goat will die, as if goats don't all die in the first place. that ish was real funny. But we all know the goat in question didn't die after ten years, it died after 7 years. duduspace: It was never guaranteed that those two players will be leaving and you don't just flog your players off, there are negotiations particularly for players the manager always made clear he never wanted to lose. There are 3 parties to a negotiation, it doesn't depend on only one party. Did you hear Fergie say they made an offer for Phil Jones in January which wasn't successful? The squad we have at present is quite capable of getting us through qualification. A player like Hazard however would want qualification guaranteed before joining as it makes no sense him coming to Arsenal to play Europa when Lille is already in the UCL.
The problem with Arsenal fans is that every fan believes they are now experts in administration, management and coaching, people are now stating opinions as fact without any basis no thanks to the sky pundits who themselves have never managed a club or have come out of such with extremely poor managerial records. an example of which would be ? Dudu who the hell is Hazard to demand UCl footie ? What history does he have there ? This excuse of players not wanting to come because of UCL footie is utter rubbish. Pay the right price and they'll come, period. Besides it's not like we're already out of it. |

@debosky proven himself to be a true Nigerian, answering with a question Well my answer is, depends: i . edoyad after a few bottles of beer and a plate of fish pepper soup would be 100% certain we would qualify . ii. This edoyad, in my present frame of mind would say, 57% . But then again i'd give Westbrom 55% against Udinese too |

ok, jungle never mature after a few league games, i accept. But wait, dudu and debosky should help us understand their twisted logic that's left me far lost than i've ever been. You're both saying the club will sign players "after" we're guarantied a spot in this season's UCL. My question is, why didn't we just get the calibre of players that would have ensured our qualification in first place ? Afterall we all knew Cesc and Nasri would be leaving. |
