Below are things we believe you need to know about the Federal University Of Agriculture , Abeokuta . • the Post UTME exams to be written in the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta is a Computer Based Test (CBT) hence no past- question can be obtained. • Your waec results determine your chances to a greater extent since it is used in calculating your total marks for admission purposes • once you meet the UTME cut off mark of 200 and you meet the required POST UTME score for a pass, be sure you will get a course to study; though if you do not do too well, you might not get your course of choice, unless your course is not competitive . List of Competitive courses in Funaab are 1. All Engineering courses are competitive ( the least competitive is Agricultural Engineering. ) 2. Almost all COINAS (college of Natural sciences) Courses ( Computer sc, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Mathematics, Phsics, Statistics .. Biology is the least competitive . ) 2. COLERM Courses like Environmental management and toxicology & Wma.. Aqfm and Fwm are the least competitive 4. Veterinary Medicine is very Competitive . 5. COLAMRUD courses like (Ae & Fm), (Ae & Rd) are a bit competitive . 6. COLFECH courses also are a bit competitive ( Food Science and Technology & Nutrition and Dietist. Hsm is the least competitive ). 7. In COLANIM Aph is very competitive the rest are not all that competitive except for Animal Breeding and Genetics. 8. Generally all COPLANT courses are not competitive .. If you dont get your first choice of course Coplant is more of the place you'll find yourself in if your not lucky with other departments. • So just try and get good grades.. Funaab hardly accpets 2nd choice university students, however in some cases they do accept. To calculate your current score, before post-utme, • step one * divide ur jamb by 8 * second step A1 is 6 b2 is 5 b3 is 4 c4 is 3 c5 is 2 c6 is 1 .third step sum the o-level and multiply it by 20 and divide it by 30..... . forth step Your post utme multiply by 0.3. ABOUT YOUR POST-UTME subject to be taken by science students include; • maths, english, chemistry, physics and biology (10 questions each) Management includes; • maths, english and economics only (50 questions) but randomly for about 30minutes. |

Readers might be wondering what former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo and former Manchester United supremo, Sir Alex Ferguson have in common? Apart from both of them having the word “former” attached to their names, they both played big parts in choosing their successors. However, while we all know what became of Chief Obasanjo’s own protégé, Ferguson’s own is still a work in progress. But if what has transpired in the past few days is anything to go by, then United fans have a right to harbour fears over Fergie’s choice of David Moyes to succeed him in the hot seat. In the space of a few days the feel good factor that the 50-year-old had with his opening day win over Swansea and gritty performance against Chelsea has dissipated first with his defeat at Anfield and then United’s quite frankly abject display in the summer transfer. While Ferguson suffered his own share of setbacks at Liverpool many will question Moyes selection and tactics in arguably the biggest match of his pledging United reign. For instance, why did he start Ryan Giggs for a match of such magnitude and then opt to leave him on and replace Ashley Young, who at the time of his replacement has been one of United’s better players? But if this was annoying, United’s transfer dealing (or lack of it) is the one to set the alarm bells ringing. Is it that because of Moyes United has now lost the ability to attract players to Old Trafford? Whatever be the reason United fans are clearly unhappy and worried with the fact that marquee players have not brought into the club. Even Moyes’ fixation with Belgian midfielder, Marouane Fellaini has raised some eyebrows with a number of experts questioning the rationale pointing out that the former Everton man is not what United needs right now. “Fellaini, while a fine player, does not appear to be the identikit of the sort of midfield player needed to reinvigorate a department of United’s team that is in urgent need of repair. “He will provide power, aerial threat and goals. Fellaini will also provide an element of enforcement but will he really provide the element of craft and creation United’s midfield needs?” wrote BBC’s Chief football writer, Phil McNulty in his column. Only time will tell if Ferguson’s hand will end up like Obasanjo’s or if it will turn out to be the move of the century – but until then, I suspect that we (United fans) are in for a nerve wracking, nail-biting season! see more at http://edroom.wapka.mobi/forum2_theme_110703990.xhtml?tema=64 |

A dog was so faithful that the woman could leave her baby with it & go out to attend other matters. She always returned to find the child soundly asleep with d dog faithfully watching over him. One day something tragic happened. The woman as usual, left the baby in the "hands" of this faithful dog & went out shopping. When she returned, she discovered rather a nasty scene, there was a total mess. ...The baby's cot was dismantled; his nappies & clothes torn to shreds with blood stains all over the bedroom where she left the child & the dog. Shocked, the woman wailed as she began looking for the baby. All of a sudden, she saw the faithful dog emerging from under the bed. It was covered with blood and licking its mouth as it had just finished a delicious meal. The woman went berserk & assumed that the dog had devoured her baby. Without much thought she beat the dog wood to death. But as she continued searching for the"remains" of her child, she beheld another scene. Close 2 the bed was the baby who, although lying on bare floor, was safe. & under the bed the body of a snake torn to pieces in what must have been a fierce battle between it & the dog which was now dead. Then reality dawned on d woman who now began to understand what took place in her absence. Dog fought to protect the baby from the ravenous snake. â It was too late for her now to make amends because in her impatience and anger, she had killed the faithful dog. â How often have we misjudged people & torn them to shreds with harsh words and deeds before we have had time to evaluate the situation? Presuming things our way without taking the trouble to find out exactly what the situation really is. Little patience can drastically reduce major life long mistakes. Who are u misjudging right now. Don't think what u think others are thinking. Take time to get the whole truth. now to make amends because in her impatience and anger, she had killed the faithful dog. â How often have we misjudged people & torn them to shreds with harsh words and deeds before we have had time to evaluate the situation? I put this post here due to it's heading. How to cope with religion, education and relationship together. Have you ever think about this topic? These three headings affect one another. 1. Religion to Education- it a good thing to be pious, especially when you know the God you are serving. But do you think religion can affect one's academic life? Yes, it may, if you are too zealous for every activities you do in your church or mosque. Dont quote me wrong, am not saying you should not be involved in religion activities but every thing has a time. Time to be in church be in church and time to be in class be in class. 2. Religion to Relationship- yes I know this aspect is confusing. Why, many religion doctrines believe it's a sin to be involved in a relationship when you are not yet a man or woman. But when do you think you are a man or a woman? 18years? 25 or 30 years? What I know is that your a man when you know how to get rid of the problems before you. When you can buy, travel, give and do some meaningful things without the help of others. It's also a must to make your relationship a godly one. 3. Relationship to Education- this affects students a lot, have even read a book that adviced students not to involve themselves in any relationship because it will decrease their academic life by 30%. But what I think is that if you can discipline yourself you are free to go. Can we be involved in the three headings above without one affecting the other . Your comment is needed.
