Igbos are known to have a very business-oriented culture, but it seems to focus on petty trading and hustling instead of value-added manufacturing. Take for example Ibeto cement. While his peers Dangote and Rabiu (BUA Group) graduated from importing into manufacturing, Ibeto continues to cling to the old business model of mass importation which drains the nation's FOREX reserves and creates poverty and unemployment.

I don't want to hear excuses today. It is very alarming that, among the Nigerian billionaires, none are Igbo. 2 Fulani, and 3 Yoruba.

What is the name of your own manufacturing company. Two, are you among the Fulani or Yoruba billionaires?

The fact that ANAMBRA is still an under developed state till this very day, Is all the evidence we need to judge Peter Obi as an incompetent governor during his tenure.

We are talking about Igbos in trade when we talk about phones,spare parts,okrika,leather shoes,some building materials,fake cd/dvd,toiletries etc..the Yorubas are more successful than the Igbos because Yorubas control and have the...

1. Most number of massive indigenous industries in Nigeria.

2.Control seafood.

3 Control Iron and steel.

4.Control the plastic trade.

5.Control the most of petrol stations.

6.Control rubber foot wears.

7.Control the tipper and truck trade.

8 Control building blocks trade.Planks, woods,plywoods etc

9.Control the cement trade.

10.Control the vehicle trade.

11.Control the indigenous and cultural clothings trade.

12.Control the beauty and cosmetics trade.

13.Control the information, communication and technology trade.

14.Control the real estate trades both at home and abroad.

15.Control the music trade and have the richest and best directors/producers in cinematography etc.

Eateries,Malls,Franchises, Lawyers,Professors
ETC,ETC..

Coupled with all of these,Yorubas have the highest number of dollar,pound sterling and naira billionaires both at home and abroad.

Yorubas are the only ones from Nigeria who went abroad with nothing but have been able to build businesses worth billions of dollars abroad and still counting..

No other Nigerian abroad can stand the business acumen of the Yorubas without monopoly or government help (lol...according to gullible Igbos...all businesses which are worthwhile need govt e.g policies,enabling environment, licenses etc.) who have gone through thick and thin to become the only Nigerians to have built real multi billion dollar businesses in Europe.

Igbos are petty business people who have only succeeded in Lagos due to the help of Yorubas,their benefactors and who have always been more successful than the Igbos.

That is the problem, you keep on counting what Yoruba have and control. The question is how many do u have and control? How many?
Politics / Came Across This. BIAFRA NATIONAL ANTHEM by Edudevine82: 9:58am On Nov 23, 2020
Biafra National Anthem” (1967-1970)
Land of the rising sun, we love and cherish,
Beloved homeland of our brave heroes;
We must defend our lives or we shall perish,
We shall protect our hearts from all our foes;
But if the price is death for all we hold dear,
Then let us die without a shred of fear.
Hail to Biafra, consecrated nation,
Oh fatherland, this be our solemn pledge:
Defending thee shall be a dedication,
Spilling our blood we’ll count a privilege;
The waving standard which emboldens the free
Shall always be our flag of liberty.
We shall emerge triumphant from this ordeal,
And through the crucible unscathed we’ll pass;
When we are poised the wounds of battle to heal,
We shall remember those who died in mass;
Then shall our trumpets peal the glorious song
Of victory we scored o’er might and wrong.
Oh God, protect us from the hidden pitfall,
Guide all our movements lest we go astray;
Give us the strength to heed the humanist call:
‘To give and not to count the cost” each day;
Bless those who rule to serve with resoluteness,
To make this clime a land of righteousness.

We don't need revolution in Nigeria, what we know is evolution, revolution is digression, evolution is progression.

The bad peace we have is better than the civil war revolution will create

we should learn from the last civil war, how people lost their love ones and friends, instead of agitating for things that will destroy lives and properties, glamour for change that will help move this country forward

Remember, Your political ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian also remember that a bad peace is better than a good bloody war.

Politics / Re: I Am Not Igbo - Wike Clarifies Confusion About His Name And Link To Igbo by Edudevine82: 7:34pm On Nov 12, 2020
Igboid:

Don't get it confused

Uche Okwukwu and other opportunistic Ikwerres are all part of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo because Ohanaeze is a useless organization that is obsolete and not in sync with modernity which exactly why the organization has no grassroot support in Igbo land.

Even as UK pulled out of EU, if the EU leaders are stupid enough to make an opportunistic English man claiming to be anti Brexit the Secretary general of EU with the pay package and power that comes with it,do you think such British will decline? The answer is No.
But does EU making an English man the Secretary general of EU change the fact that the British back home have no interest in being part of EU.

That Uche Okwukwu an Ikwerre man is even allowed to be part of Ohanaeze let alone rise to post of Secretary general is a testament to how useless Ohanaeze Ndiigbo is as an organization.
No Ikwerre or any one whose majority of his people are Igbophobic should be part of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo if the organization is a serious one.

So you IPOB should stop quoting this Uche Okwukwu,because you are only underlying the failure of Igbo leadership as epitomized by Ohanaeze when you use Uche Okwukwu as example of Ikwerre being Igbo.

Politics / Re: Restructuring Will Foster Unity Says Wike. by Edudevine82: 8:49pm On Nov 06, 2020
Ctorch:
RESTRUCTURING WILL FOSTER UNITY SAYS WIKE.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has advised those agitating for secession to rather strive for restructuring of the country in order to foster much desired unity.
Governor Wike stated this when the Primate of the All Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Henry Chukwuka Ndukuba led a delegation of the Church on a courtesy visit at the Government House, Port Harcourt.
The Governor explained that the people of Rivers State have for decades lived peacefully with Nigerians from other part of the country. But, regretted that criminals under the aegis of the outlawed, Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), have misconstrued the peaceful disposition of the State to carry out treasonous activities like foisting their flags and remaining Rivers communities.
He stated that Rivers State was peaceful during the EndSARS protest, until IPOB members unleashed unprovoked attacks that killed six soldiers, four policemen, and destruction of all police stations and Court buildings in Oyigbo.
The Governor reiterated that the allegation that he ordered soldiers to attack Igbo people living in Oyigbo, was untrue and politically motivated. According to him, if he had not imposed curfew based on security advise, there would have been bloody confrontation between Hausa and Igbo communities.
He urged those with divisive tendency to join those clamouring for a restructuring of the country in order to usher a new birth and united Nigeria.
“We need the unity of this country. What everybody is talking about is the restructuring of this country. If we are practising federalism, let it be federalism. We can’t be talking about federalism, but we are practising unitary system of government.”
The Governor implored the Church to continue to pray for Nigeria because the country was apparently sitting on a keg of gun powder.
“This is the time for the church not to be docile, this is the time for the church to speak out. When society is bad, it affects the church. When governance is bad, it affects the church. No matter how we look at it. Nobody can run away from it, things are not working well in the country. The way the country is supposed to be is not where we are. Even when you are in the pulpit, it is an opportunity to speak to your members that things are not well”, he said.
Governor Wike said as a Christian, he has no apology for handing over the State to God. He used the occasion to announce a donation of N500 million on behalf of the Rivers State government to support the Anglican Church education development and mission fund.
The Governor further urged Most Rev. Ndukuba to advise the church to obey the COVID-19 protocols. According to him, security report at his disposal indicates, churches do not adhere to COVID-19 protocol.
Meanwhile, the Primate of the All Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Henry Chukwuka Ndukuba, said in a time of uncertainty in the country, the church was very proud of the steps and stance Governor Wike has taken on critical issues.
"We come not only to encourage you as the Lord encouraged Joshua, we believe as the Lord was with Joshua, He will be with you; He will strengthen you, and under your leadership, this state will know greatest, development and peace. The Lord God Almighty who called you and gave you this opportunity, will not leave you nor forsake you. Only be strong and courageous. We are proud of you."
He stated that in a time like this, when people were surrounded by uncertainty, it was good to see the Governor standing out boldly, leading with firmness and leading with courage.
"We are very proud of the steps you have taken, the stands you have taken and the way you have demonstrated your love for God and for the people, because governance is a scared trust. And indeed we have seen you demonstrate that very well", he said.
The Primate said the church has declared the decade of 2020 to 2030 , a decade of the reign of God. He stated that the intention under his leadership will focus on the things that will touch the life of the people.

Why can't y'all use your god given brains to reason for once?

Do you know the cost of keeping dead body in a morgue?

Why would army carry something they're trying to get rid off in order to delete trace of evidence to their morgue?

This whole mess started with Falz and his likes posting fake pictures of fake dead people up and down. They were debunked.

Then Dj Witch came with her imaginary numbers of dead bodies.
A film producer who was also at the scene debunked it.Saying there were no dead bodies.

Then a lady claimed her son died as the cause of the event of Lekki toll gate we were later told she is not the real mother of the boy.

Why can't y'all see that all these are plans by opposition party to ruin the reputation of this country?

This is 10days since the incident happened. No one has come out no family has come out even when the Lagos state govt begged them to come out none has.

You know we black people we like awoof. We like money. If truly people died, don't you think their family would come out as to get compensated with cash and appointments?

The two who were confirmed dead got hit by stray bullets because from the video, soldiers shot into the air.

No sensible individual or organization will take an exhibit to their morgue.
Are you done Mr winning party.

Fleshly:
Of course the whole world knows that when you want to get something done, you must look for an Igbo man/woman to fix it. WTO is currently on death throws and only the midas touch of an Igbo person can resusitate it. Ask OBJ he will tell you. Ask yourself also, you will know that anything good Nigeria has ever achieved came through an Igbo man/woman. The few gains OBJ boasts of came only through the Igbos: the banking consolidation and reforms, that made Nigerian banks strong were carried out by CHARLES SOLUDO. The $36 billion Paris club debt cancellation was only possible because an Igbo woman was the minister of finance and best of all The GSM revolution was also carried out by an Igbo man ERNEST NDUKWE.

For the oldies, we remember when the Nigerian super eagles were a club to beat in the early 1990s, during the time of Westerhof and you know why it was so then, because out of the 22 players about 15-18 players were Igbos. You remember Kanu Nwankwo, JJ Okocha, Amokachie, Oliseh Sunday, etc.. These were players that come once in a life time.

The insistence of Buhari not to name Igbos in sensitive positions of his govt is the major reason why there's mass hunger in Nigerja. The Afonjazees can not acheive a positive macro economic change, neither can the futa jalon illiterates be up to any good, because it is above their pay grade. Only us Ndigbo have the mental and God given ability to achieve big changes.

This is something the world noticed and they are trying to tap into our blessings, that's why you see Igbos recently holding high sensitive positions globally. And now God is about to show mercy on Nigeria, with an Igbo presidency. Personally, I would have loved Ndigbo to call out of Nigeria, so that Hunger and strife will deal with the rest of Nigerians, but the merciful God doesn't want that, and this is the reason he made sure Igbos remained in Nigeria. But God hath said it's enough! And he wants to show Nigeria mercy with an Igbo president, because he knows only the Igbos have the full mark of redemption and they are the only people that can positive change to nigeria.

It doesn't matter what anybody says or does, Ndigbo will rule Nigeria in 2023. And as anyone can see the political realignments have started favoring Igbos - as everyone now wants to famzy with the good people of God!
YOU ARE DOING MORE HARM THAN GOOD TO THE IGBO SO PLS STOP.
