AtlanticBreeze: The same way Rochas owed APGA everything politically for making him governor but betrayed the party? Who is the chameleon? The truth is that obiano's separation from obi was his best political move so far. He saved himself from living under obi's shadow which was what obi intended. obi wanted people to see him as the messiah of Anambra state which has failed! Obiano has proved to be a far more better governor than obi U can say that again!!! |

It is only when you pay for something that you can demand for continuous and effective running of such service. But then in the States, they don't take ur money without adequate consultations but,the reverse is the case here. They have been deducting my money even before any transaction with my ATM. |

smile11s: You are a very dangerous person. It seems you have missed the last 20 years in molecular genetics, molecular epigenetics, systems biology and complex systems and you write from a fundamentally misinformed base. Let’s just get this straight, you don’t understand how genetics works in a developmental context, and that’s a shame because information ONLY WORKS IN A DEVELOPMENTAL context. You have consistently unabashedly demonstrated that you fundamentally don’t understand, and rather will not even consider the probabististic nature of developmental processes. Your 5th grade conception of biological processes does not qualify you to possess the opinions you have which is because you write in pop-blog. The only thing that bothers me is that people with even less understanding might read your misinformed opinions and mistake them with a scientific consensus. Aruodikwagi? |

archangel1: A few days after Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State presented cheques to the tune of N6.5 billion for the rehabilitation of primary schools returned to the churches and those owned by the state government, as well as the upgrade of missionary hospitals, he presented another cheque of N1 billion yesterday to strengthen libraries and laboratory facilities in 420 secondary schools and those returned to the churches in the state.
Speaking during the presentation in Awka, Governor Obi said it was part of the N40 billion his government was committing in the next six months into various sectors, as final push towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
He said the money was not borrowed from any financial institution but as a result of savings, prudent management of resources and unprecedented support the state enjoyed from development partners.
Giving an insight on the last push in the area of education, the governor said in a few days time the state would employ teachers in core subjects, such as English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, among others.
According to him, this is in addition to the ongoing recruitment of 5, 000 teachers in the state whose salaries for one year after his exit from government had been saved in the bank.
He also said the state had already procured 500 buses from local manufacturers, Coscharis and Innoson, to be shared to public and private schools.
Other things he said would be provided to secondary schools before the end of the year include 25, 000 laptop installed, with full school syllables and books, generators, sick bays and internet connectivity.
On why the support is for both public and private schools, Governor Obi, who said some people raised that issue at the planning level, insisted that he was not concerned about ownership of those schools but the fact that they trained the children of the state.
He said he was encouraged because the massive support he gave to schools in the past had manifested in the improved performance of the schools in the state.
Earlier, Commissioner for Education, Dr. Mrs. Uju Okeke, said: “The event of today is one of 13 series of events to fully implemented Anambra State package on accelerative progress in the attainment of education for all in the state tagged final push.
“There is no doubt that our investment and efforts are yielding maximum results. Just recently the Basic Education Certificate Examination results released by our Exam Development Centre indicated that out of 46, 741 candidates who sat for the examination, 45, 196 (96.69 per cent) passed at Credit Levels and only 1, 545 (3.3 per cent) failed.
“In the last NECO examination into junior secondary schools, nationwide, Anambra State pupil took the overall first position. The Senior School Certificate Examination result analysis of WAEC recently released clearly shows that our schools are making significant improvement.”
In their own remarks, Commissioners for Local Government, Mrs. Azuka Enemuo and her Planning cCounterpart, Prof. Chinyere Okunna, said the good things coming to the state was because the governor had remained committed and focused in serving the people.

Christianity Etc › Re: What's Wrong With Wearing A Trouser To Church?? by EduParis(m): 4:45pm On Sep 30, 2013 |
obyrich: From Genesis to revelation, the bible did not mention trousers at all. Trousers is a borrowed culture to Africans. In scotland, men wear skirts as their ceremonial attire. There are trousers MEANT for women as well as those for men. There are shoes for women as well as those for men. Trousers were not part of the jewish culture at the time Deut. 22 vs 5 was written. The bible abhors INDECENT dressing not trousers. Any man who gets an attention at the sight of a woman wearing trousers is a pervert and a psychopath. Trousers offer women more protection from rapists than skirts. I have been embarrassed severally at the sight of the undies and laps of women wearing skirts but hardly of those wearing trousers. African women abuse skirts more than their white counterparts despite their sanctimonious stance on dressing. British women cross their legs when they wear skirts but African women open their legs carelessly and expect you to look into the skies! Trousers reveal the bulges and shapes of the male s3x organ more than it does to the female. The bombom of women does not cause more arousal than their br3ast, yet no one cares to design a clothing that will perpetually put those succulent oranges away from the raving eyes of these uninformed hypocritical bigots. Ladies, if any guy thinks you should not wear trousers, please package it and give it to him as a gift. Ask him to wear it to church on sunday. Maybe that will make him understand that what you are wearing is TROUSERS MEANT for WOMEN! U got it all wrong! De emphasis wuz on wearing it 2 church; bt u wia generalizn. We all know dt some trouzers're meant 4 ladies alone which dey kuld wear 4 either leisure or social 4ntionz but,d church (mind u,juxt few of dem're decent ones 2 wear).Dn't konfuse otherz bkux u're,rather find a way 2 get klarified 4 no matter hw hard it is 2 bleive,it'z morally wrong 2 wear dem trouzers 2 church. |
