References to red heifers are present in both the Christian and the Jewish religious traditions. The calf has reportedly been examined by rabbinical experts but will continue to be examined every few months to determine its legitimacy as the red heifer of Biblical prophecy.

The Temple Institute began its Raise a Red Heifer breeding program three years ago with the express goal of producing the heifer of prophecy, which would be required to meet a number of requirements, chief among which being that the calf be entirely red and “without blemish.”

The group imported the frozen embryos of red angus cows and implanted them in domestic Israeli cows. Previous discoveries of red heifers were made in 1999 and 2002 though both were disqualified by the group for being male and for having a patch of white hair, respectively.

A promising teenage professional footballer tipped as a future international was 'executed by gangsters involved in a drugs war', French prosecutors believe.

William Gomis, 19 and until recently on the books of Ligue 1 giants St Etienne, 'died instantly' while sitting in a car on the notorious Berthe council estate, in the suburbs of Toulon.

An unnamed 14-year-old youth, originally from eastern Europe, was sitting next to him before both succumbed to machine gun fire in the early hours of Monday.

'It was almost certainly a settling of scores taking place in the context of a drugs war,' said an investigating source based in the Mediterranean coastal city.

'A gang of youths wearing black balaclavas and using a variety of weapons including AK-47s got out of another car and then opened fire.

'Mr Gomis was killed instantly, while the second victim was rushed to hospital by the emergency services where he died a few hours later.'

Some 24 spent gun cartridges were found in the vicinity of the crime scene following the shooting at around 12.25am in La Seyne-sur-Mer, a suburb of Toulon.

The Berthe, where Gomis was brought up in a family originally from Senegal, is one of its most notorious estates.

Rioting is commonplace, and civil servants and police have recently reported a huge increase in crime connected to the drugs trade.

Bernard Marchal, the Toulon Prosecutor, said other members of Gomis's family, including a younger brother, had been targeted in a similar fashion in recent weeks.

'Everything is being done to find those responsible,' said Mr Marchal, who said judicial police from Marseille were assisting with the enquiry.

RAPPER Post Malone’s luxury Rolls Royce Wraith has been wrecked in a high speed crash near Beverly Hills in Los Angeles this morning, according to reports.
There were reportedly no injures as a result of the smash on Santa Monica Boulevard – which happened two weeks after the musician, 23, cheated death during a mid-air emergency on his private jet.

Pictures from the scene of the collision, taken in the early hours of this morning, show Malone’s expensive white car with its left side severely damaged.

Malone’s luxury motor, which retails at around £250,000, was carried away from the scene on the back of a lorry.

The heavily-tattooed songwriter was photographed at the side of the road puffing on a cigarette while speaking to a police officer.

On August 22, it emerged that Malone was caught up in a mid-air emergency when two of the tyres on his private jet blew out during take-off.

The Luton-bound plane carrying the US star and 15 members of his entourage was forced to circle for five hours before the hero pilot made a safe landing in New York.

A five-year-old girl has been dubbed the 'most beautiful in the world' after a photographer shared snaps of her on their Instagram account.

Jare, from Nigeria, was photographed by Mofe Bamuyiwa who shared three stunning portraits of the girl on her Instagram account last week.

The images see the child posing in a simple setting showcasing her enormous eyes and perfectly smooth skin as well as her impressive head of hair.

Captioning the photo Mofe writes: 'Oh yes she’s human ! She’s also an angel!

'I could have made her smile and make her laugh out loud but I put her in their natural moments for us to see through their eyes !'

Fans have been quick to praise Mofe's portraits of the child with the first of the three images amassing 16,000 likes.


The second two portraits also received plenty of praise from followers who were 'enchanted' by the child's looks.

Mofe surprised some of her followers while describing her process behind the photograph admitting she wanted the child to look 'more adult'.

Tamara Pletnyova warns Russian women not to have sex with non-white men as their children may face discrimination.


Russian women should avoid sex with non-white foreign men during the football World Cup because they could become single mothers to mixed-race children, a senior lawmaker in Moscow said on Wednesday.

Even when Russian women marry foreigners the relationships often end badly, said Tamara Pletnyova, head of parliament’s committee for families, women and children. Women are often stranded abroad or in Russia but unable to get their children back, she said.

She spoke in response to a question from a radio station about the so-called “Children of the Olympics” after the Moscow Games in 1980, a time when contraception was not widely available in the country.

The term was used during the Soviet era to describe non-white children conceived at international events after relationships between Russian women and men from Africa, Latin America, or Asia. Many of the children faced discrimination.

“We must give birth to our children. These [mixed-race] kids suffer and have suffered since Soviet times,” Pletnyova told Govorit Moskva radio station.

“It’s one thing if they’re of the same race but quite another if they’re of a different race. I’m not a nationalist, but nevertheless I know that children suffer. They are abandoned, and that’s it, they stay here with mum,” she said.

Pletnyova said she that she would like Russian citizens to get married “out of love regardless of their ethnicity”.

Another lawmaker said foreign fans could bring viruses to the World Cup and infect Russians.

In comments to Govorit Moskva radio station, Alexander Sherin also said Russians should be careful in their interactions with foreigners as they might try to circulate banned substances at the tournament.

Thousands of football fans from 31 countries are travelling to the World Cup in Russia that kicks off on Thursday with an opening ceremony in the capital followed by a match between the host team and Saudi Arabia.

Fifa and the Russia 2018 organising committee did not immediately respond to a request for comment about Pletynova’s remarks.

Pletnyova is a lawmaker for the KPRF Communist Party, a nominally opposition party that backs President Vladimir Putin’s Kremlin on most key issues.

Russians make up the majority ethnicity in the country but there are dozens of minority groups, as well as a large labour migrant force predominantly from Central Asia and the South Caucasus.

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is prepared to play for club rivals Manchester United in order to prove Pep Guardiola wrong.

Guardiola sold the Ivory Coast international while at Barcelona, and then had a major fall-out with Toure at the start of the 2017-18 season after leaving him out of City's Champions League squad. His omission from the group was called humilating by Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk, with Guardiola then excluding the midfielder from the team until he apologised .

Toure later returned to the side, but found himself on the outside again in 2018-19 after falling down the pecking order as City won the Premier League title, playing just 10 league games all season. As a result, he confirmed he would leave the club this summer when his contract expires , having spent eight seasons at the Manchester club.


However, he could remain in Manchester next season after his agent revealed Toure would be ready to play for just £1-a-week at any of the Premier League's top six clubs, including United.

Toure is wanted by clubs outside of England including Major League Soccer side New York City FC, but Seluk says that he is determined to prove Guardiola wrong and would like to stay in the Premier League and play against his former boss, having recently accused him of racism against African players .

"Yaya has received many offers from different countries, big money offers, but we have decided to devote the next season to Guardiola," Seluk told sport24 .

"To proving to the Manchester City fans that Yaya is not finished with football. He is full of strength and energy and wants to play in England this season.

"At a time when English clubs are spending huge sums of money on players, I officially declare that Yaya is ready to move to any top-six English club as a free agent with a salary of £1 per week. As long as a success-based bonus system is in place.

If he moved to United, Toure would play alongside Paul Pogba, having revealed in May that he would like to play with the France international and help him improve his game for the Red Devils.

An Indian woman who was bitten by a snake in her sleep and unknowingly breastfed poisoned milk to her daughter has died along with the child, police said Friday.


The 35-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh state did not realise she had been bitten when she woke and breastfed her daughter.

The three-year-old girl and the mother fell ill on Thursday and both died before they could reach hospital, police inspector Vijay Singh told AFP.

The family spotted the snake in another room but the creature escaped.

A post-mortem is to be carried out but police have registered a case of accidental death, the officer added.

India is home to some 300 snake species and 60 are highly venomous, including the Indian cobra, krait, Russell's viper and saw-scaled viper.

India accounts for 46,000 of the 100,000 snakebite deaths around the world each year, according to a 2011 study by the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.

Morgan Freeman has apologized after being accused of widespread sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior, saying that he never intended to make 'anyone feel disrespected or uncomfortable'.


In a statement on Thursday morning, the 80-year-old told DailyMail.com: 'Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy.

'I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent.'

It came after a damning piece was published by CNN detailing allegations of misconduct by eight different women.

As a result of the allegations, Freeman was dropped as the voice of Vancouver Public Transport.

'In light of information we’ve learned this morning of allegations regarding actor Morgan Freeman, TransLink has decided to pause his voice announcements as part of a VISA ad campaign on our transit system,'the organization said.

The allegations include claims including those of a young production assistant who alleges Freeman, 80, tried to lift up her skirt repeatedly in 2015.

Only one woman who claims to have been mistreated by him was named. She is Chloe Melas, the CNN reporter who wrote the article who claims Freeman called her 'ripe' and told her: 'Boy I want to be there' as she interviewed him while six months pregnant in 2017.

Other women said he behaved like a 'creepy uncle' at Revelations Entertainment, his production company, and that his unwanted glances and treatment of them forced them to stop wearing skirts or dresses in the office.

She said: '[He] kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear.

'Alan [Arkin] made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn't know what to say.'

The woman was in her early 20s and Freeman was 78 at the time.

Another, who was described as a senior member of production staff who worked with him on Now You See Me in 2012, claimed it was common knowledge that he 'harassed' females on set.

Football legend Ronaldinho is to marry TWO women at the same time according to reports in Brazil.

The Samba ace will reportedly tie the knot in August with his pair of "fiancees", Priscilla Coelho and Beatriz Souza.


The two women have been living "harmoniously" with the former Barcelona star since December at his £5million Rio de Janeiro mansion, according to reports.

Ronaldinho started dating Beatriz in 2016, but continued his relationship with Priscilla, which began several years earlier.

A viral video circulating the Internet appears to be surveillance footage from a Tim Hortons in Langley, B.C. The video — reportedly shot this past Monday — shows a woman screaming at a server angrily before she leans against a wall, pulls down her pants, squats and defecates on the floor.

The woman then picks up her feces and hurls it at staff. She is then seen wiping her butt with some napkins before throwing it at employees as well.

Corp. Holly Largy from the RCMP in Langley confirmed the incident, noting the unnamed woman was arrested and later released with a promise to appear in court at a later date.

A 23-year-old man has claimed that painkillers he took after a go-karting accident unexpectedly turned him gay.

Scott Purdy, 23, described himself as a hot-blooded heterosexual who enjoyed dating women before he started taking painkiller Pregabalin, also known as Lyrica.


He believes the drug caused him to lose his sexual attraction to women and prompted him to dump his girlfriend because he realised he was attracted to men.

Scott was prescribed the drug after breaking his foot earlier this year.

He said: “I noticed my libido for women had gone and I was wanting male attention.


“I was with a girlfriend I had been with for around six months. I had never been interested in men. When I was younger I was a little bit curious but…

“A couple of weeks after I started taking it I turned around and said I didn't find her physically attractive anymore. She knew I was taking Pregabalin.

“She was relatively understanding, as understanding as you could possibly be."

Pregabalin or Lyrica is a medication used to treat epilepsy, pain associated with the brain, and generalized anxiety disorder.

Its documented side effects include loss of libido and mood swings.

Scott added: “I just think people should know about this.

“If anyone gets prescribed this in the future, I think they should know what this medication can do.

“It took me a while to realise what it was. I stopped taking it for a few weeks and that desire for men just left.”

“But I’m on it now; I’m very happy. I want to keep on taking it because it makes me feel happy about my sexuality. It’s made me feel very open. It’s liberating.

“Pregabalin is also used to control paranoia and anxiety. It’s made me so open and not bothered what people think or say.

Teens are snorting condoms for the latest viral social media challenge, health officials warn.

The 'Condom Challenge' involves inhaling an unwrapped condom through one's nostril and pulling it out of the throat through the mouth


The challenge has been around for several years but is reportedly making a comeback on the heels of the Tide Pod Challenge that made headlines earlier this year.

Experts warn that snorting condoms not only poses a serious choking risk but could also lead to infection.

In a three-minute video from 2015 a teen unwraps a condom and unrolls it before sticking it in his nostril.

He then winces as he closes the other nostril with his finger and inhales the white rubber sheath up into his nose.

Seconds later he gags as he pulls the condom out of his mouth.

Dozens of other videos on YouTube show the same disturbing process.

Bruce Lee, an associated professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, addressed the trend in an opinion piece for Forbes posted Saturday.

'When is using a condom a bad idea? When you are trying to snort it up your nose and pull it out through your mouth,' he wrote.

Even if you manage to successfully pull the condom out through your mouth, inhaling a condom up your nose would be very uncomfortable and potentially quite painful.

'Would it really be worth all that just to get more likes and views?'

Health experts have urged people to stop participating in the potentially dangerous trend.

Snorting condoms is a choking hazard because the rubber could potentially get caught in a person's airway and block their ability to breathe.

The spermicidal lubricant found on most condoms can also irritate the inner lining of the nose and cause allergic reaction or infection.

Accidentally swallowing the condom could also lead to serious complications.


In 2016 a woman from Cameroon accidentally swallowed a condom and had to have it surgically removed from her appendix after it caused appendicitis.

Another woman developed pneumonia after accidentally swallowing a condom according to a report in an Indian medical journal from 2004.

The challenge has been around for more than a decade with YouTube videos dating back to 2007.

One channel devoted to the challenge created in 2013 has more than 100 videos of people participating.

Earlier this year another dangerous viral video trend the 'Tide Pod Challenge' made headlines as dozens of teens posted videos of themselves chewing and swallowing the laundry detergent pods.
