The topic is not "how the universe works"
No man understands how the universe works but the one thing we are certain about all over the world is that, no thing created itself nor is there any thing in the universe which is capable of creating itself out of nothing.

So God is automatically proven by the implication and real eyesation that no thng in this universe that we have seen and can see created itself.

If you have proof that God exist and he's real and not imaginary, you won't be here on nl arguing. Galileo didn't prove the sun is the center of the solar system by arguing, Newton didn't prove gravity by arguing, Einstein didn't prove relativity by arguing.

If you have proof that God exist, you will publish your findings detailing the experiments you carried out, the methodology you used, the statistics involved in the research and so on. Your publication will be checked and scrutinized by relevant authorities, which will then verify your claim. That is how you prove something. Not coming online to argue and regurgitate what you have been spoon fed and brainwashed to believe.

So far nobody has proved the existence of God and the fact you come online to argue about God shows you have no proof of his existence. You only bring God into the equation because you don't understand how the universe works and you have been too brainwashed to accept that fact.

Even scientists accept they don't know everything about the origin of the universe, but you religious folks who have never carried out one single experiment are claiming you know everything about the universe.

Religious people fervently engage in their various religious activities. Christians go to church every sunday, they sing, they dance they pray. During Christmas period, they celebrate Christmas passionately, carry out various activities during lent, celebrate easter plus a host of other religious activities they engage in throughout the year. Muslims on the other hand also engage in their various religious activities like going to Mosque every Friday, fasting during Ramadan period, praying at various times of the week and so on.

Though there is nothing wrong with the above activities, what baffles me is that while they fervently and eagerly engage in these activities throughout their lives, they find it difficult to do the main thing that religion is supposed to be about which according to Jesus is to love one another, live a moral life and do good to others.

Take Nigeria which happens to be one of the most religious countries in the world for example. In Nigeria, all kinds of crime is the order of the day such as armed robbery, kidnapping, ritualism, corruption, fraud, extortion, stealing and so on plus moral decadence including prostitution, adultery, gossip, dishonesty, substance abuse and others which are perpetrated by the so called religious people. This makes me wonder- are they trying to deceive God?

Exactly. If God exists, then everything humans can do, God gave us the ability to do it since we didn't design ourselves. There are so many ways God could have designed humans, if truly he doesn't want us to sin, he would have created us in such a way that we can't sin, in fact there will be nothing like sin anywhere in the universe. But humans have flaws, that shows we weren't created by a flawless perfect designer.

Religious fanatics will tell you Satan brought sin into the world, but then again, who created Satan? who designed him in such a way that he can bring sin into the world??

By the word "God", I simply understand the Creator of this Universe you and I are a part of - just like Zuckerberg is the creator of Facebook (though in a far lesser sense). So, how can you say there is no convincing evidence for the existence of God when everything actually proves his existence, including yourself and your brain that you're using to write this up there? Otherwise, tell me how your brain and yourself could have been a product of chance event.

Yes, I agree with your assertion that our beliefs should not be based on fear like many people who claim to be Christians do. Even the Bible itself says it again and again, "fear not" and that "the just shall live by faith" - not by fear. So, just like you, I don't agree with Christians who try to appeal to death as our reasons to believe in God because that actually contradicts the viewpoint of the Bible.

What I preach is that you look at the world and know that the world, beyond all doubts, is a product of a Real Conscious (or Superconscious) Being. This is absolutely undeniable. I don't see how you can deny this without being foolish.

As the Bible itself says, "the fool says in his heart that there is no God" (Psalm 53:1). Another scripture says, "you fools, why do you think that He who made the ear cannot hear or that He who made the eye cannot see?" (Psalm 94:8-9).

In line with that scripture above, I can equally ask you, "how can you have this powerful brain and you think that there's no Being who is responsible for its existence? And if you agree that there is such a Being, why would you think that such a Being would be incapable of thinking or reasoning or consciousness?"

If you have any objection to the existence of such a Being as I just described above, you let me know. But if you don't have any objection to it, it means that you have agreed that there is God because God is no other than the Creator of the world. I just described God in absolute existence and YOU are one undeniable evidence of His existence.

In your presentation there is a place where you said that atheists are "open to changing their minds if new (convincing) evidence or arguments are presented". So I ask, has my evidence or argument convinced you? If not, let me know how or why. Thank you.

There are so many possibilities as to how the universe came about. And presently, in the scientific community, nobody knows for sure how it happened and presently, all science have are possible explanations because science is being honest. You need to understand the difference between empirical evidence and hypothesis.

Your claim that an intelligent designer created the universe due to it's complexities is a valid claim, but it is a mere hypothesis (a possible explanation) not an empirical evidence (proof that can be reproduced, repeated and verified by whoever desires).

You believe with certainty that God exist and he created the universe not because of any empirical evidence but because you have been spoon fed and indoctrinated from birth to believe so.
