Not the bank’s fault. Poor planning from the government. Lack of maintenance also involved. Lastly, Lagos residents blocking available drainages with cellophane bags.

Before the white man came, they would claim the gods took souls. Now we’re supposedly wiser. An excavator would’ve made short work of those living pieces of firewood. Our people are reactionary. They may learn after this.

TV/Movies › Re: I Have A Smart Tv, Never Knew I Was Wasting Money On Dstv by eepeepook(f): 10:26pm On Jul 07, 2024
Rich4god:
Since the day I created this thread till date, I have used 55gb worth of data. This also includes my wife data usage for watching netflix. It will be good to also add that I contacted someone here who set up IPTV for me, so am also watching some very interesting channels on my smartTV.

So my conclusion... If you have smart TV and your family is the type that dont always stay at home, its far cheaper to use data to stream than to pay for cable TV. But if you are always at home and watches TV 247, then cable TV will be better.

Total cost from opening of this thread till date... Airtel 40gb for 5k *2 = 10k.... Though I still have abt 30gb left. Mind you that my wife mostly watch netflix, so even if I paid for cable TV, at least 10gb would have been used by her to watch netflix. Before the increase by DSTV, I was on price lock of 9k on compact. Now compact is 15700. So technically am saving roughly 7k/month.

Now the choice is yours to make.
Ogbeni, second month. How far?
