thesoj: In reference to the bold text, I once argued with a Canadian University representative (White guy) about summing up tuition +room and board + others to get funds available for your stay and he refuted. What I finally filled was the image provided. |

thesoj: Having the stated amount in the sponsor's account does nail it, you have to show prove that the sponsor would give you that amount of money, this people don't earn that in a year and you claim that amount of money would be available to you. It sounds fishy. 2 Likes |

Lets get something straight. 1) you do not sum anything up to get funds available for your stay . 2) you need at least $10,000 per year to support yourself. If your school likes let them specify that you need $8,681 for accommodation and feeding. What about books, transport and clothes? CIC wants you to have $10,000 so you can provide for the 'other' needs. @graviton you used your own hand to kill yourself you should not have written $52,000 for funds available for your stay. Do you have $52,000 as pocket money? That section implies the $10,000 and above requirement specified by CIC for all provinces in Canada with the exception of Quebec where the requirement is $12,000 and above. I sit to be corrected sha... 5 Likes

emmy46: Whenever you decide to write your SOP for your next application, please explain in detail how you would apply your knowledge in Indigenous Studies on your return to Nigeria. If you cant, kindly get admission for another course. No offence but that course is for their locals except you have a job in the UN. 2 Likes |

secondborn: CIC advises you to pay at your risk. My advise if the deadline for payment is close and you are yet to receive your TRV, then pay if you are sure you will get your TRV. If the deadline is not close, am assuming you cant be resuming this fall since you are still ayouth corper. In that case you don't have to pay just show source of adequate funds for your stay. I hope that was helpful 1 Like |

hurrpe: Make it visible, the best option is grey scale. Depending on the quantity of documents you have to upload. If you make all pages coloured, the total file size of your document will be very high. Use grey scale if you will be attaching plenty documents, coloured if you will be attaching few documents. For more information, click on the "?" button against the file upload button, it contains all the information i just stated plus how to compress your documents with adobe distiller. |
