I so much love the Motto of the popular sports/shoe brand.. NIKE.it says... "just do it"
Sometimes too much theory complicates issues and leads to a psychological state of "paralysis by Analysis" |

One very important lesson I learnt from this thread is that there is a very big difference between theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the world of Sales/Marketing and Business. |

PaperLace: I can't really say my hubby loves his career more than his family. 'but I am afraid he works too hard, hardly rests/sleep...rarely delegates, such a perfectionist. Even when he is on leave, he would still be coordinating from home.
Quite surprising, considering the fact that he is the one that would always tell me_ "if you kill yourself for the job, the next day, they'll bring a relief and life goes on"
People don't practise what they preach sha.
I no dey even talk again. When im pack the work come house, we share it and start doing it together.
I just wish he could rest a lil more_ By the way, the word should be workaholic. OK |

1.Deleting A thread by the op After creating a thread and you feel like deleting it,you discover that you cannot delete it. the nearest solution is to delete the topic and leave a dot(.),but the comments still remain.
2.Change of Moniker After creating your nairaland account, it becomes impossible to change your Moniker subsequently.
3.Deleting A derailing comment from the thread by the Op whoever creates a thread should be able to delete comments that derail the thread especially threads that deal with private matters like business and family issues.
4.Dislike button If you so hate a comment or post, you should be able to click the dislike buttons, it would reduce unnecessary mentions which sometimes lead to e-war.
5.coloured fonts should be automatic The process of writing a comment in colour should be made simpler with a single click.

Romance › Re: The little things that matter a lot in a relationship by eezeribe(m): 7:04am On Dec 17, 2016 |
NairalandDSS:
Often you may have come across some silly reasons which tend to put an end to any relation. Say for example, you must have heard a girl cribbing about her beau not being caring enough, or he not being a confidant ect……..
The things which sound small to you happen to be the big trouble creators in any relation. Short and sweet is a phrase which happens to be the mantra of handling a relation perfectly. Expensive gifts or cozy dates just don’t work the right way. If you want to know what are these small and sweet gestures then just read on and try to employ them soon:
1. Acknowledgment Here we doesn’t mean you have to be wait for your partner do something out of the way to make you acknowledge her. In fact, a sweet thank you when she brings in your morning tea or helps you in getting ready for the office will leave a great impact.
2. Be a confidante Make sure to lend your ears to her always, if you can prove to be a confidante to her then she will not only get closer to you but this will even help in strengthening your bond.
3. Remember dates Now this one is of extreme importance, remembering the dates is very essential. Whether it is her birthday, your anniversary or anything important for that matter, make a note of it and never let the dates slip off your mind.
