Credit hours is specific to programs, I'd advise you do a deep check on their website or send them a mail. As at 2020, the COA was about 43-46 k. It's an amazing school

What is the credit hours expected from an international student for MS program?

Most of these schools always send you a sample for the sponsor letter. Either way, fill the Financial Certification Form you were given, make sure it's signed by your sponsor and then send it together with your BS. This should be enough to receive your I20

Pls I need help guys. I got an admission offer(MSC in Civil Eng) to a US school and was given 40% tuition scholarship for Fall2021. My major issue is how to get a sponsor letter. How does it look like and what are the contents. I have gotten a sponsor already but I need to support the account statement with a sponsor letter. Meanwhile, they said I need to show a proof of funds of 32k. Tuition alone is 17k. Please I would really appreciate any help I could get. They said once I upload these documents, my I-20 form will be sent to me.

i was applying to the school till I discovered they required WES or other evaluation. I dont have money for that

Some schools take as long as three months, this is barely a month, be a little patient. You can get your bank account ready to match up the cost of attendance while you wait.

3 offers of admission, no funding (I have written to all professors possible). My sponsor can afford Missouri State, not others. I heard it's not good to choose school based on only affordability that once you can pay the first semester, you'll find you way around.

Talk to schools and confirm instead of going to spend another 4 years for a BSc before getting into medical school

Who knows where I can get paper with dimensions (8.5 x 11). I was instructed by my school to print my I20 on that paper.

There is a difference between application fee and fees for sending scores.

For those 4 schools, you will still pay application fee to them but your SAT scores will be sent to them for free.

No one will give you scholarship for just sending your SAT except in the most rare instance. The schools you send your SAT to will still require a direct application. The intent behind those 4 schools is you get to send your scores to them for free.

Post the release of the results, you can still send your scores to other schools exclusive of the initial four however you will have to pay a fee for that.

Concerning your college board question, I'm not certain how the site works but from what I have heard, it seems like a proxy for financial aid applications. Most schools still require a direct application on their portals.

So I'd advise you to draft a list of your preferred top four and send the scores to them when you take your SAT.

No, it can't be paid online. It's either you mail a check/money order of $350 to Sevis address or you pay at any western union branch.

It can take 2 -3 weeks and due to Covid, processes are a bit slower. Reach out to the school, and ask why?

Most schools are sending sodt copy i20 this time.

This thing is dicey, private schools are expensive especially the ones in the East Coast. However, they give the best packages in terms of funding. Those guys have stupid money, I have a friend that even got accommodation free. You can't get that in an Msc program for public schools except the rich ones. So it's a 50/50 chance. Look at a school like Liberty University (it's part of the cheapest private schools (26k full COA) with a good bang for your buck). They also give tuition discounts.

The private IVY'S are really tough but if you get in, you have a really high chance of getting aid. So before you apply to a private school, check their funding offers (look for people on LinkedIn in the school or alumni). Connect with them, you'll get better info from them.

Its not everyone that gets funding for a master's program, if your sponsor can cover the tuition then be grateful. Some schools can offer you student employment- not assistantship. From my findings you can pay for your full living expenses on this jobs.

And be positive, do your best to be outstanding in your first semester, and you might just get a good funding offer. Don't be pressured. Keep pushing

The Scandinavian countries have really opened up to the world, in my opinion, I'd pick Norway, Finland over Cyprus. Leave Ukraine out of it. Also you can switch to Canada later from Norway.

Germany is good as well, but I heard applications are stressful.

Hi guys I need your honest opinion on this, like put yourself in my shoes and tell me what you would do. ok so I started this studying abroad journey back in 2019 I was fresh out of high school and didn't plan on schooling in Nigeria, Canada has always been the only country on my mind. So I apply to one school in Canada, university of Manitoba, Winnipeg I was granted admission in November 2019 and applied for visa December of that same year, my decision envelope came and I was denied because of insufficient fund not because I didn't have the money the account wasn't funded so we funded the account and applied again and I forgot to add am not the only one going it's me and my junior sister and when I mean wasn't funded the money there wasn't enough for two people. So we funded the account and applied again in February 2020 and yes we we're using an agent so I didn't get any response from the embassy till October when only passport was returned without it being stamped and a little note which says Decision making is still in progress, final decision not taken I found that weird but since they gave a reasons I kept on waiting sending emails and webforms till February when I reached out to my agent and he said he got a mail from IRCC and he needed to see us privately and I was like wondering what went wrong so we met up with him only to tell me I've been banned from Canada for 5years for misrepresentation. Turns out IRCC already sent him an email since October to respond to clear their suspicion about misrepresentation and my agent didn't respond to them neither did he let us know about it until he was arrested, This was the same for my sister. I posted that on nairaland asking for you guys help and so on, i was told to avoid these countries:US UK Australia and New Zealand because they share the same database with Canada. Now I've searched for countries and I've come to the decision that Germany was ok for both me and my sister I've even picked two schools already and yes I'm going for a Bachelors degree and I plan to study anything relating to business, it could be marketing, business admin.,management e.t.c. ok so now I've spent 2yrs at home already and all my classmate are in school and I don't want to waste this year again on a country that would waste my time and money then not grant me visa and with what am seeing they said booking Appointment date with Germany is like asking the Nigerian government to pass a death sentence bill for (financial) corruption which is a first red flag for me like I don't have have another year to waste I want my application to move smoothly. my question is do you have any know European country that I could try I mean put yourself in my shoes and tell Me what you would do? At this point I'm confused and No schooling in Nigeria is not an option neither is schooling in Ukraine Cyprus or turkey so pls I need as much opinions as I can get

Georgia State is an expensive school around 52k for proof of funds, however from some stories here. It seems some people have gotten funding there previously. I dont know about University of Illinois Chicago, but most schools in these type of system give little or no funding. Either way, keep checking online, look at their requirements and check for the one you exceeded more.

Both schools require 250$ acceptance deposits before I can get to know my scholarships offer and apply assistantships. Please my seniors in the house who are already in the system, kindly advise which of these 2 schools have a more robust offer for scholarships.
