Culture / Re: Yoruba Words That Mean The Same In Edo by egbaran(m): 12:37pm On Dec 08, 2020
MyopicMods:
1. “Omo”

It means “child” in both Yoruba and Edo.

2. “Igbo/Ugbo”

“Igbo” is commonly said by Yoruba, but in some dialects, “Ugbo” is also used and it means the same thing in both Yoruba and Edo.

3. “Baba”

It means “Father” in both Yoruba and Edo.

4. “Oba”

It means “King” in Yoruba and it also means the same thing in Edo.

5. “Iye/Yeye”

The Yoruba might use “Yeye” more but the words mean the same thing in Yoruba and Edo; “Mother”.

6. “Unu/Enu”

Some Yoruba dialects switch the “u” for the “e” in “enu”, so it’s the same thing with Edo and it means, “Mouth”.

7. “Ogede/Oghede”

Apart from the slight different spellings, these words are pronouncd the same and mean the same; “Plantain/Banana”.

8. “Ibata/Bata”

If you can unlook the other ‘i’, this word is really the same thing in both Yoruba and Edo and it means, “Shoe”.

Even onions we call it the same with Yoruba.....alubusa

And key as well......kokoro

I am sorry, I guess I didn't do a good job at making a distinction between the two. Discounted student passes are not the same as school bus passes. To get an "Adult" student discount, all you need is to be enrolled in a post secondary education recognized by your city's transit commission. This pass is paid for out of pocket by you to the transit commission(not covered for by Tuition). It is not issued by the school and the school is not involved in the application/administration. To get it, every year you'd have to take your school photo id to the transit commission to be registered for a discounted pass. In Toronto, after you are approved by Toronto Transit Commission(TTC), you have to top up your presto card every month with a TTC student pass. The school I currently attend in Toronto and the schools you made mention of do not issue student bus passes. So in Toronto we basically get a $30 TTC student discount that brings the cost down to $120 per month or $1440 per year.

On the other hand, schools outside the GTA traditionally offer "free" school bus pass to their students. To put things to perspective, when I was in University of Western Ontario, we got a free bus pass. The pass is issued by the University, you don't top it up. The way it worked was that the Student Council had a collective agreement with London Transit commission(LTC). All students get charged a fraction for this bus pass in their mandatory tuition fees. It didn't matter if you needed it or had a car, the charge is compulsory. Checking my previous Western tuition breakdown, the charge was about $263 per year. If Western had left students to their fate like many schools in the GTA do, Western students would have had to use the LTC adult student discount option instead. This way, Western students would have had to pay $83per month, which comes to about $989 per year.

So you see that a discounted student pass is not the same as a school bus pass.

They will never know the struggle we went through with:
1. Getjar looking for a means to download 2go.
2. Waptrick (the original waptrick) not this wapdam or whatever they call it now.
3. Unknowingly downloading a Symbian game into your java phone .
4. Having to load google page
by page .
5. Downloading ringtones
Not songs o, Ringtones. Chai!! I did exploit then oo.
6. Downloading wallpapers and themes
Everybody had Chris Brown's but I preferred D&G or MJ themes.
7. Downloading one song, just one song o.. and that song will destroy your phone with virus
That's how I spoilt my Nokia Xpress Music.
8. You were a big boy (real big boy) if you could use a whole 1mb to download 1 game. 1mb
was like 1 terabyte then.
9. Where Sefan .ru was the main site with screen size download.
10. Choosing screen size before you download anything .. Not like now that all applications adjust themselves to your phone.
11. Exhausting your data before your download completes, just forget it. Your account balance
is 0.00naira.
12. There was one time MTN was advertising games that could be downloaded with N200. I called MTN and told them I wanted to
download the game. The lady that picked up told me that I should
wait for the game to land in my phone. N200 was deducted.. Many years after and I'm still waiting for the game.
13. Redwap was a top porn site.
14. Mini Nokia phones then like 2700, dey save MB.
15. Symbian phones, like Sony Ericsson then, don't have Bluetooth.. So we use infrared to transfer files.
And then it saves to your phone inbox. You go to message just to open the file.
16. If you did not play any version of splinter cell, u missed
17. If you did not play half screen game then you are not a game freak

Na wa o......na only my name u no call cox all ur list I do every1 of dem grin grin

O.P

dis people are willing to learn but why don't you tell dem the truth instead of raising there hopes even d way you analyzed it from d beginning self is pathetic...

please and please people hacking is fun,its lively I do it and I enjoy it but at the beginning stage dere is every possibility dat u might lose interest I saw d OP telling you guys dat you need some penetration testing tools.....how come?¿ wen u av not even learnt about baking first pen testing is after u most have fully understood hacking........hacking requires resources, time, patients, technique, using ur initiative did he tell u guys dat Kali Linux software is about 90 something gigabytes?¿ so just knw u can't download it wit ur phone data getting it at Ikeja ain't so easy hope he told u guys..... see I played to learn hacking but I only gained dos materials and d experience from my instructor sincerely if you want to learn CERTIFIED ETHICAL HACKING (CEH) go online download PDF on hacking u have thousands of dem but u most have knowledge about d following computer programs cox definitely as a hacker u most use dem 1) programming 2) networking 3) little bit of oracle (any version though 10g,11,12c) if you gat basic ideal about dem den u are set to go I have CEH version 3,6,8,9 pdf's .............with many other hacking PDF especially on black hat hacking hacking is fun just dedicate some little time to it but if you don't have laptop or u can't get hands on d necessary software and operating system to use like Kali,Ubuntu, parrot and d rest den u can use ur android phone and download d app called termux and u can learn from dat platform as well......

OP, I greet u for. good work u av started but instead of dis just give dem some sites and links to reduces d stress.......LEO®
