Like his elder brother, little Elijah was born to the same California-based surrogate mother – whom the couple said they love ‘like a sister’.
They revealed that the boys are at least half-brothers as they share the same egg donor.
But it is not clear if that is the same woman who carried them for nine months, or someone else.
Another unknown is which man is the baby’s biological father – if, indeed, either of them.
Neither Sir Elton, 65, or his civil partner Mr Furnish, 50, have revealed whether Zachary or Elijah carry their genes.
However on Zachary’s official birth certificate, Sir Elton is named as ‘father’ and Mr Furnish as ‘mother’ leading to speculation that the rock star is his biological father.
They have also kept the identity of the boys’ surrogate mother a closely guarded secret.

Speaking to Hello magazine, Sir Elton said: ‘She is a wonderful, kind and loving woman, who we love like a sister.
‘We have a very close bond with her and were in constant touch throughout the pregnancy, getting updates, seeing scans and sharing all the little details that make those nine months so exciting.
‘She has given us two amazing gifts and we in turn have a duty of care to her and are fiercely protective of her anonymity.’
Unlike elsewhere in the world, it is not illegal in California for a multi-millionaire such as Sir Elton to pay a significant sum of money to a surrogate or gestational carrier.
If she were paid, a surrogate mother could in theory have become very rich after successfully delivering first Zachary and then Elijah.
It is likely she would have signed a strict confidentiality agreement never to speak about the deal.
The couple said the arrival of their second son, who was born in Las Vegas, ‘completes our family in a most precious and perfect way’.

Bobbi Kristina Brown is pregnant and suicidal, screams the National Enquirercover.
The tabloid includes a picture purporting to show the teenager’s alleged baby “bump,” and writes, “One year after Whitney Houston’s tragic death, family members fear that her emotionally fragile daughter Bobbi Kristina is both pregnant and suicidal.”

A so-called “insider” tells the Enquirer, “For weeks she’s been looking like she’s pregnant, and it’s a big worry because she has gone off the rails again, suffering deep depression.”
The magazine, which has recently published a number of false stories about Brown, claims her family believes she needs intervention to “pull her back from the brink of crisis.”
The Enquirer alleges that the teen’s behavior has recently become “frightening” and that “anything might send her over the edge” as the anniversary of Houston’s death approached.
Except the real Brown — not the “off the rails” Enquirer version — seems to be coping calmly and maturely.
“Home with love @nickdgordon **relaxing** having my only for my mom week ** she deserves it, she deserves the best especially in respect,” tweeted Brown on Tuesday.
What about the supposed pregnancy?
The Enquirer doesn’t bother giving any details, and fails even to identify Gordon or anyone else as the potential father.
The reason is simple: SHE’S NOT PREGNANT.
And when there’s no baby in the next nine months, the Enquirer will probably try to make everyone forget it splashed the false claim all over its cover.
A source close to Brown tells Gossip Cop the story is beyond “ridiculous.”

Mr Capable said the label is currently re-negotiating the contract of Wizkid and that they are in the middle of the negotiation which they hope an agreement will be met soonest.

“Wizkid is going international and as a result we have to re-negotiate the contract he signed.

Wizkid has his own idea of how he wants to do things and he has plans for himself too.

A Federal High Court on Friday in Abuja nullified the Certificate of Return issued to 10 lawmakers on the platform of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) representing Katsina State in the National Assembly.

Justice Gladys Olotu, while delivering judgment, held that the lawmakers must vacate the seats to pave way for the winners of the 2011 National Assembly elections from the state.

Olotu said that INEC lacked the powers under Sections 68 (1) and 75 (1) of the Electoral Act to withdraw any certificate of return from candidates who validly won an election.

"INEC lacks the powers to cancel, nullify, review, withdraw, void, and invalidate either directly or indirectly, the certificates of return validly issued to the Plaintiffs consequent upon their winning the election.

"The plaintiffs, who were the candidates that contested and won the April 9, 2011 National Assembly elections, were duly issued certificates of return by INEC within the stipulated seven days allowed by law.

"Evidence before the court shows that INEC’s Returning Officer in the elections purportedly withdrew the certificate of returns and issued fresh ones to people who did not contest the elections.

"INEC acted illegally by withdrawing the certificates of return and going on to issue fresh ones to those that did not contest elections,’’ she said.

The plaintiffs had asked the court to nullify the certificates of return INEC issued to the defendants and order that the lawmakers vacate their seats in the National Assembly.
